Mark & the team did a good job . I'm located in Duarte so we when we a local shop. Only concern was the smart handle . The app won't let you unlock & lock the gate. The finger print reading is time consuming to set up. But since it's an aluminum gate we were limited on options. That was my only regret.... Would have gone a different route with more options to lock the gate because that's the whole point !! No sense of having a nice gate if you can't lock it or manage it correctly from an app. All in all la fence made it happen & I'm glad I chose local business. read more

I have depended a lot on reviews/pics from yelpers so I need to post when a business was good or bad. Or kinda good or kinda bad. The fences are nice and look like the pics on the reviews. The issue in my case is installation and customer service. They broke one of my recently installed pavers (never told me). The metal portion of 1 of 3 gates had a lot of visible deep scratches, and they left an outlet box just dangling instead of properly installing it. I also noticed they didn't install stoppers behind each door. Didn't know I had to ask for that or that they didn't provide them. Imagine spending thousands on 3 beautiful doors just so when they open, they smack on stucco or walls? I made a deal with Mark (he comes out to give you an estimate) it cost me $100 to have my paver guy fix the damage. Add 3 stoppers to the gates and I'll call it even. He said ok. They came out and installed one. Mark has been bs'ing me for months and they haven't came out to add the remaining two. I've called the main office and no luck. I know if I would've waited on paying they would've been done a long time ago. And to be fair they did come out and covered up the deep scratches a bit. You can still see them but not as noticeable. The electric box was also installed properly. Make sure you look at your doors and gates closely before you pay because trying to get them to come out can be difficult and Mark might tell you it will be handled and never will. Their prices are fair and competitive but their installation and customer service could use some work and maybe other estimates on your behalf. See pictures. Oh and I sent them a lock to install prior to them coming out to install. I should've checked that too before they left. The electronic door lock doesn't work. I've tried taking it apart and figuring it out but does not work. My fault I guess for not checking. read more

They installed a beautiful new composite fence in antique oak that turned out beautifully. Alan and Diego worked on it and did an excellent job, I was very pleased! Jose Cordova our sales person was a great contact that did great measurement of our property front and back and he was very kind and on top of everything. However, a small caveat. On the 2nd day of our install, the owner sent the crew to another part of the city to finish up work on something else. No one told me beforehand about this delay. I found out by chance since it was already 9:30 and no one came. I was there since early and waiting. They arrived around 1:30 pm and started working quickly to finish. They finished around 7:15 pm that day. I commend the crew for working so on on 2 projects the same day. Apart from that, everything went very well and I am very pleased by the quality of the installation and material. read more

The fence is not straight, not properly leveled, and clearly not installed to an acceptable professional standard. What was even more frustrating was how the company handled the problem. They promised to fix the mistakes, and I was repeatedly told they were too busy to come back out. Delay, delay, delay ... they never came! Chris came out on a Friday to take measurements and look at our fence for a full removal and replacement. Although he arrived late with no communication regarding his ETA, he did eventually make it. He let us know he wouldn't be able to provide a quote until Monday, which was completely fine by us- we recognize businesses are busy and we're not their only customers. Unfortunately, that was the last we heard from him. After waiting with no response, we emailed him the following Tuesday to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was just busy- still nothing. By Thursday, we attempted to follow up via text. The message was marked as delivered and read, yet it was completely ignored. I can't comment on their pricing because we were never actually given a quote. I am truly disappointed by this lack of professionalism. Looking back, it was my mistake for not paying closer attention to their existing 1-star reviews as it's clear that going silent on potential clients is a recurring theme for this business. The gates and fence were installed properly and the team did a walk through with me after they completed the job. I am so grateful for the installer's honesty and informing me a few pipes were cracked during the installation. I hired LA Fence Company to replace a fence that had been improperly installed by a previous contractor and blew down in the wind. While the finished product looks good, getting there was frustrating and required a lot of oversight on my part. At the beginning, they made several promises about what they would do--such as filling the block wall properly and leaving a couple of extra caps--but unfortunately, they didn't follow through on many of those commitments unless I caught them. For example, they broke three of the caps on the block wall and just loosely placed them back on, planning to install the fence on top of them. Thankfully, my husband noticed and stopped them, insisting they be properly installed. They also tried to avoid removing an old post and instead wanted to "Mickey Mouse" it by attaching the fence to the house--something I later confirmed is never the correct method. Again, I had to step in and insist it be done right. They also promised to speak with the state board to explain how poorly the original fence was installed, which was important since I had an open complaint. But when the board contacted them, they backtracked and said they could only confirm that they installed the new fence--not what the condition was before. Other small issues included a gap under the fence they said they'd fix (but didn't until I followed up) and charging me for extra caps they were supposed to leave as spares. All in all, if you hire this company, you'll likely be happy with the end result--but only if you stay on top of the project. Be prepared to closely supervise their work and hold them to their word, as they don't always deliver unless you follow up. read more

I hired LaFence Craft to install a vinyl fence at my rental property in March 2022, after researching several companies. I selected them based on their strong Google reviews and the understanding that the materials and installation would be covered under a 20- year warranty. My main point of contact was Mark , who led the project and appeared responsive at the outset. However, my experience took a disappointing turn in May 2025, just over three years after installation. On May 2, my tenants reported that the bottom of the fence was bending and buckling. I promptly contacted Mark and provided him with photos and a video showing the damage. He acknowledged the issue and told me it likely needed to be reinforced with a steel bar, and that he would add the repair to his schedule. This seemed like a straightforward warranty issue. But after multiple follow-ups from me, I received only sporadic and vague responses. On May 16, Mark texted that his team would be at the property in 45 minutes. Naturally, I assumed the repairs would be carried out. Instead, Mark simply asked the tenants to move dirt away from the fence and send him updated photos. They complied--but after that, Mark went completely silent. Frustrated with the lack of follow-through, I contacted the LaFence office on May 27 and spoke with Daysi, who was helpful and sympathetic. I explained the fence issue and my struggle to get any meaningful response from Mark. Daysi said she would inform Mike (the owner) and that he would be visiting the site soon. She also advised me to contact the office directly moving forward, not Mark. On May 29, Daysi texted to confirm that Mike was on his way to assess the situation. On June 4, I finally received a call from Mark, who now said that LaFence Craft would fix the fence, but I would need to cover the cost of materials. He claimed the cost would be minimal and promised to get back to me with a quote by the end of the day. He never followed up. By June 9, after another call to the office, I was again put through to Mark--who now had completely changed his stance. He claimed the fence issue was not covered under warranty because the bending was due to "dirt around the fence." He then said it would be very expensive to fix and suggested I go to Home Depot to buy 2x8s and fix it myself. His instructions were unclear, and frankly, I had no idea what he was talking about. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. Mark was inconsistent and unreliable, initially acknowledging the problem and committing to a solution, only to backtrack weeks later. Despite the company's 20 years warranty, I was ultimately told to fix the issue myself. It's especially disappointing given that the fence was just over three years old and that I had chosen LaFence Craft based on their reputation and promises of long-term support. In short: * The fence began failing less than 3.5 years after installation. * The issue was reported immediately and documented thoroughly. * LaFence Craft first committed to fixing it under warranty, then later claimed the warranty didn't apply. * Communication was poor, inconsistent, and evasive, especially from Mark. * I was left with no resolution and was told to handle the repairs myself, despite my reasonable expectation that the company would stand behind their work. I cannot recommend LaFence Craft based on my experience. My neighbor had her fence done which is on my property line (quite long). I have been growing plants on my side for many years and have spent a lot of time and money on these plants. I noticed that there was a lot of aggressive digging (under the fence and onto my side) as well as cutting and pulling on my plants. I called the company immediately. There was no answer so I left a voicemail asking them to call me back explaining my concerns. No return call. I called again the next day and left another voicemail. No return call. I went out today and noticed that everything that was growing along my side is dead. I called again and again there was no answer. At no point did anyone from the company talk to me to say that some plants may be in the way and would need to be trimmed, which is understandable.
