They do have baked goods like banana bread of carrot cake but seem a bit expensive for a slice when I can make it at home. I did try the cookie but wasn't a fan of it. It was big, but the cookie was hard and overly sweet. Overall, one of my favorite coffee shops to come to in Toulouse to spend a few hours. I love getting a quick lunch or just a coffee or tea and sitting upstairs. The staff are freindly and helpful and speak good English if you get stuck with your french. The place is actually decently large, with many tables and chairs so you're not fighting for space, and the ambiance is very cozy and homey. I love being surrounded by 2 long walls of books, and the decor is also lovely with different chairs, tables, etc. so that it's not all homogenous. They have WiFi, and other people are on their laptops working here, so it's a great place to come and get some work done. There are a lot of people just chatting here too, so it's not super quiet in here if you need a lot of silence to get work done (or just bring a pair of headphones). They serve salads and tartines here (but I have yet to try the savory food) and they are reasonably priced. I tried the leopard gateau and it was delicious - I had a similar pastry in Paris at Cyril Lignac and loved it -- I was looking for it all over in Toulouse and I've finally found it. If you love almond and chocolate, it's the perfect dessert/snack, and not too expensive at 2€. They have a wide selection of teas as well, and 4-5 choices of little cakes/sweets. When the bill came, I asked the waitress if there was special reason to sit us in front of the toilet when the entire restaurant was empty at the time. She did not say anything. I then told her that we usually gave tips. But since we had ordered the still water that she recommended, we would not leave any tips this time. We stayed in France for over 3 weeks during our trip. This was by far the worst food we had ever tasted. Both of us did not finish our dishes because the food was tasteless. Our conclusion was that the chef either deliberately cooked badly for us or his/her taste buds were badly damaged. The chef had to try very hard to make every single dish so bland. For customers with colored skins, take your money to elsewhere. You should be respected. For all other customers, there are many restaurants in Toulouse offering fantastic food at the same or better price. They are just 5-10 minutes walk away. Do not be fooled by the decoration. It is a tourist trap.
