The WORST experience with Lindsey. This woman is beyond fake- she pretends to listen but doesn't care about anything you say, including any concerns you may have before during or after your treatment. She treated me extremely aggressively and I was concerned my skin got burnt, but in order to protect herself, she would not reply to my text messages or voicemails. I had a horrible time from the beginning with the receptionist as well, who would not answer my calls or return any voicemails when I tried to book the initial consultation. I should have taken it as a sign not to go there. There is no follow up or after care given,. You are on your own. So cross your fingers and hope they did not screw up your treatment like they did mine. read more

I rarely fill out reviews unless a place is exceptional! Dr Ken really knows his craft. He can make you look ten years younger in one sitting using filler/Botox. Have a consult with him and ask him what you need. He'll make sure your face doesn't end up looking wonky... just refreshed ! I never felt like I was being upsold. Because he is so good at what he does he doesn't have to use so much product (my opinion). I never feel like I have to come back for a retouch either. Paula is amazing too with the laser. I sat in a room filling out paperwork for 15 minutes. The receptionist came in and grabbed the paperwork from me and said she'd let the doctor know I was ready. Another 15 minutes went by. I waited well over 30 minutes for an appointment that was now 30 minutes late. I ended up walking out. Nobody ever called to try to reschedule or speak with me. Highly unprofessional. Dr. Ken, How do I love thee? Let me count the ways :-) After 8 different consults I chose La Fontaine for what was considered a rather difficult and challenging inner thigh procedure (words used by several other plastic surgeons). There are multiple reasons I chose this location, and could not be more happy with the entire experience. The front office staff: Well, they are just the nicest team of people. Very friendly and welcoming. I called several times with random questions before my procedure and they were always happy to both help and also put me at ease. Doctor Ken: I don't think you could find a nicer, more down-to-earth and easygoing doctor. He is not clinical, nor does he rush you. He is not impatient, nor does he intimidate you. Instead, takes the time to put you at ease with a genuine warmth. You get the sense he's been doing this for a long, long time. Surgery support staff: The lady was very calming and reassuring, and on both follow-ups, asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. Two days after the surgery I walked almost 6 miles. Three days after the surgery I was at a Halloween party. I'm not saying I was pain-free, but it was completely manageable. No-one had any idea I had any type of surgery. I had an acne shot here this week and though I've had several before, this was my first time finding a place since I moved to Denver. There is a risk of depressions with these shots so I was nervous to try someone new. But after being shot up in 4 spots, my cysts have shrunk and there's no adverse effects. I was referred to Dr. Ken by a couple of my clients who look AMAZING (and that I was completely blown away by the fact that they even used any form of cosmetic enhancement). This is a beautiful spa but their services are over priced and customer service is "spotty" at best. It seems they have a bit of a staff turnover problem as well because every time I tried to go back to the same person for treatments they no longer worked there. I received a gift certificate but was told by one of the owners I couldn't use it for specific services which I thought was odd. I believe the idea behind gift certificates is that they are the same as cash, I mean hasn't the business already collected money for them? We went here for a little Valentine's Day indulgence. And it was the first spa that I have visited where it actually felt like I paid for what I got. We chose the detox French mud wrap and a 1/2 hour massage. The atmosphere of the little place is wondrous and it's so easy to slip away and not have a care in the world. The staff is very accommodating and let us change our appointment due to the snowy weather. *They do only have one steam shower for the wraps, so stagger your appointments if you're going with a friend. Otherwise you'll end up hobbling across the hallway, covered in mud, wrapped like a mummy to the other shower. I admit to being confused about all the positive reviews here. I came in for a tickle lipo consultation and didn't have the best experience. The consultation was not with the doctor, but with an office manager named Lucia - during the consult, she called the doctor in to meet with me. I literally spent maybe 5 mins talking with the doctor about my liposuction... He seemed in a hurry, as if he had other more important things to do. Compared to other consults before this one I was shocked at how casual this place was and how little time they gave me with the doctor. Considering the price of the tickle lipo I was very unimpressed. They also had almost no before/after pics and I took that as a warning sign. As this doctor has been doing lipo for many years, I expected tons. On the plus side, the lady at the front desk was very pleasant. I strongly recommend that moving forward, the consult is with the doctor and not an office manager. I think this place is more geared towards injects, fillers, and things other than something more major like lipo. read more

Had a horrible skin infection as a result of unsanitary conditions in addition to a very bad tickle lipo experience from the unbearable pain during the procedure to the disfiguring results. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I've been coming here for about 6 months sporadically for cortisone injections for stubborn cysts that pop up on my face. I went for a consult for crow's feet on 02/27/10. When I arrived at the spa, I was immediately beside myself from the calmness and Zen environment. The spa is decorated in an Eastern Asian Fusion vibe. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive of their patients. I was offered a beverage and made very comfortable while waiting for the doctor. When I seen Dr. Ken Oleszek, his presence and calming demeanor was refreshing and non-pressuring. He explained the process, I agreed to have it done, and then we went to room to complete my Botox injections. WOW. The process lasted no longer than 15 minutes and virtually painless. Dr. Oleszek gave me a mini vibration tool to place on my cheek while he did the injections and I never felt any pain. It is a very easy simple process. I've had the pleasure of going to a number of great spas across the country, mostly in hotel/resort settings. With my wedding coming up, I knew I needed to get my skin in shape and set on a course the find a great spa to get regular facials at in Denver. I had several near successes from such locations as the Ritz Carlton (which was too expensive and did very poorly in regards to regulating noise from people on cell phones, etc.) and the Retreat on Larimer (which had a fantastic facial but was somewhat mediocre in atmosphere). I am happy to say I found what I've been looking for and much more after my excellent experience with La Fontaine Aesthetics. The spa offers the ability to book your appointments online, through a slightly confusing system that charges you a $50 booking fee. You can rest assured that $50 will go straight into whatever treatment you're getting, though I would give the spa a call to make sure what you booked on their online system is recieved correctly. I've heard some horror stories about what spas can pull when a client is late (everything from shaving time off of facials to charging the entire rate for a service that wasn't provided). I was very worried when a complication at home caused me to be fifteen minutes late for my facial at La Fontaine, so I gave them a call. Instead of giving me a hard time, both the front desk staff and the aesthetician were more than helpful working with me to make sure everything still went fine (I just had less relaxation time before the facial, which was fine). I came in for BBL treatment for the sun spots on my face and after just one treatment they are almost entirely gone! My appointment was fast, about 30 min, and professional. Adrian did a great job. There is a slight trace of a few spots on my left side so I may come in one more time but this truly took years off my appearance and I am very happy. The only thing I thought was questionably in violation of privacy issues for a professional place like this ( and I personally didn't care) was that they take the photos and do the analysis right in the waiting room where other people can see & hear what your "skin age" is. Maybe that is not always the case. Maybe they're able to move the photography equipment into other rooms. But I am happy with the treatment and would definitely recommend it read more

I went in to La Fontaine for a consult to get rid of a very annoying sun spot under my eye. I was seen right away and the Dr was able to do a treatment during the visit.
