These were pretty good and the included sauce went well. Next day for lunch I had have the chicken cheese and corn. This was not enjoyed, it really lacked any seasoning. Did not finish. Final one I tried for a lunch a few days later was the empanda with all the meats. It was pretty good, but kinda try and dare I say too much meat. It was more shredded chicken then anything else, did not finish. So why the four stars and not 3? The size was really big and for the price I paid it was a great value for the product. I think I would try them again. Delivery was easy and smooth.

It's a tight area with a handful of chairs by the window and by their counter space. Everything is made to order, so anticipate to wait a little bit for it to come out fresh. I came with my sister who was intent on their lobster empanadas in which we went half and half on a Three way with pork, ham, and steak empanada as well. The lobster was tasty and definitely from the ocean. I wished there was cheese in the other as I found it to be stuffed but dry. They offer a delicious pink sauce which is a must. Lots of drinks are available including soft drinks, juices, and even smoothies. Next time I come I'd like to try their sandwiches! I do recommend experimenting with what they have.

The food always varies,…read morewell cooked, seasoned appropriately so it is not salty but unfortunately the price doubled recently. I went from paying $4-5~ for a small plate just enough to fill you but not enough for 2 meals to $9 for the same amount of food. You don't know anyone's background to be laughing at someone just because they don't speak your language. Just because you assumed since I look Spanish I'm Spanish. Mind you this is a restaurant you're not only going to get Spanish people. If you want your business to succeed you need to have all different kinds of nationalities come to your restaurant. Don't forget why you guys got shut down the first place and honestly I don't even think you guys should be open.

I've been going to the Border Cafe since they first opened when they were at their previous…read morelocation across the highway next to Midas Muffler. Their salsa is the best you'll find anywhere but my absolute favorite has always been the blackened chicken fajita! They serve it with hot tortillas wrapped in a towel, pico, cheese, and guacamole, all on a bed of lettuce. There was nothing better than the scent of that steaming, SIZZLING platter when it was brought out from the kitchen to the table! Other customers would turn their heads to see it when they heard the sizzle and smelled the fajita! Everyone knew what it was! Lot's of oooohs and ahhhhs!! Well, the last several times my husband and I have gone there (we moved to New Hampshire) we've been very disappointed. The fajitas no longer sizzle!!! I asked our waitress why it wasn't steaming and sizzling the last time we were there. She told us some parents complained that the platter was too hot with kids at the table. Well, don't order it...or keep an eye on your kids! Hello! We went again today as I was dying for a fajita. We drove an hour from where we live in NH. Once again, I ordered the blackened chicken fajita. I made a point to tell our waiter "I want it SIZZLING" It arrived hot, not sizzling. I asked him why? He said, "They stopped doing it because the heat was setting off the fire alarms!" (interesting that I've now gotten 2 different excuses) Really? I've been getting the sizzling fajitas since 1994 and have never heard of that happening!! I told him the steaming, sizzling platter of fajita is a VERY LARGE part of the experience and they need to start doing it again! My husband thinks some woke nitwit probably touched the hot platter, complained about a lawsuit, and that's why they're not doing it anymore. If that's true, it sucks for the rest of us who like a SIZZLING FAJITA!!! C'mon Border Cafe! Bring back the fajitas we all know and love! Add a disclaimer on the menu that the plate is hot if people are too dumb to know that steam + sizzle = hot!! I wrote on my bill when I signed it: "Please bring back the sizzling fajita!" When you do, I'll update this review and give you 5 stars.

Well, I tried again last night for a celebration and unfortunately, the food was horrible. The appetizer came out and literally 30 seconds so you know that it was pre-cooked. I got a fajita. It wasn't sizzling like it used to and the chicken only came with onions, no peppers and onions, and the tortillas were thrown on top of the chicken not in the separate container that they used to be in and everything was extremely salty. You can only give a Resteraunt so many chances there are too many out there.
