They have wine and beer, although the wine was rather pricey for this type of restaurant. The atmosphere is a blend of tacky, quirky and found items; a mish-mash of photos, paintings, miss-matched glasses, etc., with no particular theme. The lighting is far too bright, reminiscent of a 24-hour pharmacy, but there is a good sound track playing that is even louder than the din created by the patrons. We were surprised that the server brought us the check before we asked, indicating that there were people waiting to be seating. That was the first time that has ever happened to us in Buenos Aires! And it was not appreciated. Food - 4 stars Ambiance - 3 stars Service - 2 (that is 4 stars for the server and 2 for the kitchen and 1 star because they brought the check too early) Notwithstanding some of the negative aspects (bad lighting, out of sequence food delivery), we had a good time and will likely come back.

The bartender was really friendly and patient with my less-than-fluent Spanish. While we were there, they were setting up for a live music event, which I'm sure turned out to be deafening given the small size of the place. They were also playing really loud music videos (a full length concert, not sure who the artist was) that we didn't care for. I realize that makes me sound a thousand years old. But it's such a small bar that it was kind of a shame to have to shout. Still, we liked it. Good place for a drink or two.

The ambience is dark with splashes of colors around the bar, and the drinks are eclectic and unique. (Granted, all the cocktails in Buenos Aires are $6 USD) During my visit to Buenos Aires I also tried two of the "world's top 50" bars: Tres Monos and Floreria Atlantico. The house itself is very well decorated, looks like a loft you would want to own!! The garden and the pool are also very nice and relaxing. The breakfast was beyond expectations (we weren't even aware it was included). The only small regret I have is that we came at very calm period and didn't experience the busy/party crowd. Most of the time we had the entire place for ourselves (which is also nice in a way).

The vibe is casual-chic (if that is in fact a thing, and not something I just made up lol) ie in no way pretentious and very much come as you are, but also has the vibe and music of a more trendy spot. But, also, again know that it's on the roof of a hotel, so there's not only a decent mix of younger locals, but also (what seems to be) older/foreign guests of the hotel. The servers/bartenders are attentive and friendly, and my boyfriend and I have enjoyed 2 (each) of the very best Aperol Spritz's we've ever had anywhere in the world (we can't decide if the the bartender is using a different ratio, or a special Prosecco or what, but they are TASTY!) all for a grand total of $400ARS aka 12 bucks US (what one single Spritz might cost me in my hometown of Philadelphia).
