The menu has all your usual American type offerings including burgers, ribs and steaks, but they also offer Pizzas. The waiters were all really friendly and the place has free WIFI which was a huge bonus in Lanzarote where most hotels seem to be lagging behind in the WIFI offering! We got some drinks to start which came fast enough, although we did wait a while for our food order. I went for the Vegetable Club Sandwich which was pretty tasty - layers of toast, egg and salad with a lovely big salad on the side (salad stuff always tastes better on holiday and I opted for this over the standard chip offering). My dining partners (ie my folks on this occassion) went for chicken kebabs with chips, coleslaw and salad. The chicken was tender and really tasty and they both struggled to finish the hearty portion. As with most places in Puerto del Carmen the food was really great value and at under 35 euro for three people with drinks it was a bit of a bargain. A great place to people watch and very atmospheric - definitely a good call if you're on holiday in the area. The next night we visiting El Patio Mexican and the decor and menus were very similar in style, and I suspect they're owned by the same people.

The food was delicious, I had the BBQ ribs which were perfectly cooked. No one else in the group had any complaints about the meal. However the service as well below average. After we ordered our food, the server never returned to check on us and it took us a while to get their attention when ordering drink re fills or even to get the bill! The atmosphere wasn't what we'd expect either as if seems like it should be a fun place to eat with music and good service but it didn't live up to that.

You'll find more tapas bars that serve beer and wine. But here you will find a nice American styled cocktail bar. The decor is kinda cool in a Hawaiian theme. For Las Palmas, the drinks aren't cheap. you can get a cheap bucket of beer, but the average cost for a coctail is 6 euros. Cheap if your from London, expensive if you are used to Las Palmas. They don't have an extensive list of cocktails. I was dying for a Long Island Iced Tea, which they don't make. Pretty much your average Canarian cocktail list. But they do have Margaritas. But a warning, they make margaritas sweet. If you don't ask for salt, they put sugar. Which to me then is not a margarita. I would love to see more of these types of bars near the beach. I shouldn't have to treck to vegetta for a cool bar!
