Pretty underwhelming. Went on a Tuesday and nothing was open so I'm sure if it were a weekend there would be a better review. There is not really a boardwalk so you have to walk in the sand. There are much more beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico.

A very nice place to take a walk, relax on the beach, hunt for shells lots of baby hermit crabs so cute harmless, cute little frappe spot had to stop there. Kept maintained and cleaned.

La Guancha Boardwalk has been destroyed by storms and heavy winds, the place had potential with a little tender love and care. As it stands there is no boardwalk, only a small amount of kiosk that have food for sale. You cant appreciate the view to the ocean or fisherman place due to the entrance being blocked. It has ample parking and light. It's patrolled by county police so its kinda safe. Its family oriented.

We always stop at La Guancha when in PR. What a nice boardwalk. You are able to take a nice stroll and stop at any one of the various restaurants/bars along the way. The scenery is beautiful! Plenty of parking for you to enjoy and if you like you can even visit the beach which is close by. You cannot go to Puerto Rico and not visit La Guancha.

Nice place to go visit if your in Ponce. Ton of parking on the side road. There are two huge play grounds for the little ones on each side of the road. The side of the beach has a little exercise equipment playground for adults abs kids (be cautious some of the equipment needs repairing) & a lots of swings. The other side has slides, bars, and more the little once's. If you walk past the emergency service station there you'll find a little beach. It recommends not for swimming but you can definitely get your feet wet and it's a nice viewing point. There a ton of vendors. (It's currently only open from Friday to Sunday) we went on a Thursday so the only one that was open was a little bar that had practically everything you might want to keep you cool. After you pass the main vendor strip there are a few more restaurants and then a small area where the boats are docked. You can pay a $1 to feed the pelicans Sardine and there a lot of big fish in the water. It's a nice spot for sure.

The walk on the boardwalk is nice and there is a beach but it's more of a night time hangout place. When we went (around 4:00pm) there were only 2 or 3 kiosks open and the food didn't look too good. So we left and went somewhere else to eat. If you are there during the day and you're walking on the boardwalk - don't miss all of the life in water (tarpon, angel fish, tangs, sea cucumber, sea urchins, crabs). Just look over into the water and you won't miss them!

It was ok; not much to do, no real variety of trinket shops and fried food. Feeding the birds was fun. Maybe it's different at night...

I reached out to the Hacienda and within 24 hours, Joanna reached out to me and went over every little detail they cover, so that I didn't need to. And then she took the time to FaceTime call me, to show me around the grounds and all the views. And the video call did not do the venue justice. I can't put into words how beautiful and magical the Hacienda is. My husband and I travel the world, and this was the most magical place we'd ever been to. After we paid our deposit, the owner Ashley, reached out to me to go over the little details. We went over the menu and colors and changed dancing to karaoke. Ashley was easy to work with and very accommodating to what my husband and I envisioned for our perfect day. Thirty days later, we pulled up and it was perfect! Literally didn't lift a finger or have any stress! It was the PERFECT day! So if you want a beautiful Puerto Rico wedding, I did hours of research.... And this is the place you want! Thank you to Ashley and her team! We can't wait to come back and visit!

I wish I didn't have to write this review, but after multiple emails, messages, and empty promises…read morethat someone would reach out, we've been completely ignored. Our wedding was in December, and it's now almost February--still no response from the venue or the owner. The issue? We paid extra for a higher-tier bar package, only to find that our bar signage was hidden, and the bartender had no idea how to make any of the drinks. Classic cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Negronis were made poorly (when they were made at all), and in the end, most guests resorted to drinking only wine, champagne, or beer--completely negating the premium package we paid for. We made menus for the drinks and they magically disappeared. To make matters worse, we were previously assured via email that the bartender was experienced, only to later find out that they were hired the day before the event. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. We reached out multiple times to resolve this fairly, including requesting a partial refund for a service we didn't receive. We were met with silence. Someone on Instagram keeps telling us that "someone will reach out," yet here we are, still waiting. If you're considering this venue, be warned: they have no problem taking your money, but when an issue arises, they disappear. We expected better, and at the very least, a response. Mind you, the location is spectacular but the fact that they hired someone without experience to work a wedding is shady and unfair to the guests and couple who paid out of pocket to make this an experience. It was an experience but not one that we smile about when it comes to talking about the bar saturation . 90% of guests are all industry people. Thanks for not responding. I tried.

Here is why: The Property: The property is unlike any other I have seen in Rincon. The rooms are clean, modern and the beds are SO comfortable. The pool/bar area is such a cool vibe and played amazing music. We had intended on setting out to explore Rincon all weekend but hanging out in the pool was way more enjoyable than anything else we did the entire time. They also have a few different sections with different seating areas - such as the hot tub deck, zen garden and cocktail lounge. It is in an ideal location - we hung out in the pool all day then walked down to the oceanfront bars for sunset. Everything we needed was a short walk away and you feel like you're in the center of everything. The Staff: From the second we arrived to the late check-out on our last day, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The owner, Carmen, is simply incredible. She helped us snag reservations at an unbelievable dinner (Taste) which ended up being the best meal we had during our 5-week stay in Puerto Rico - she hooked it up!!! On two separate occasions, we were having trouble getting a cab to dinner so Carmen offered to drive us there and pick us up after. She mentioned they are in the process of getting a shuttle service which will be HUGE for guests. But I have never had an owner personally drive her guests - it was unbelievable service and such a personal touch getting to know her so well. She even gave us her number during our stay so we could contact her at any time if we needed anything. The Bar: The bar serves amazing cocktails and we had a great time getting to know the bar tender (Mia!) and all of the staff. They made us fresh, unique cocktails and even a few off-menu creations that we requested. It is also a hot spot for locals. The day after we had our amazing dinner at Taste, we met the chef who was having a drink at the pool bar next to us! The Food: We enjoyed our daily complimentary breakfast here so much! They have incredible omelets and so many keto-friendly and low-card treats! They also have snacks and bottled beverages available for purchase which is a great amenity to have at any hotel. The Fun: We had a great time experiencing some of the fun events that the hotel planned while we were there. Our favorite was the personal salsa lesson we had in the afternoon. The lessons were free for any guests who wanted to learn some moves from a local dance instructor. They also had ladies' night (discounted cocktails) and a few other events. It was such a great way to bring guests together and was one of the best memories of our trip. The Main Takeaway: BOOK THIS HOTEL! You will not be disappointed. We had the most incredible time and we will be coming back very soon! Thank you, Carmen! We love you!!!!!

I've stayed at many $10- $4/night hotels, and I'd trade any one of them for this one. (Except the one with bed bugs.) For the price, I thought it would be amazing. But it was only amazingly bad. Last month, I stayed at a Westin for the same exact amount, and had the polar opposite experience. Hands down, this was the worst value for money I've ever experienced.
