This has been my worst experience at this Shell location. I have always gone here for gas or a car wash. So, today, I paid $6 to get my car washed. I pulled forward that it told me to move back and I did and then the car wash did not get activated. That's a little frustrating, but that's fine, usually anything strange happens with the car wash, I would just go speak to the clerk. Normally, they would assist with a problem immediately. The woman that was working today was not listening to what I was telling her. She kept on telling me to punch in the code and move forward and not move back. I told her there was no code to punch in because I paid directly for my credit card. And then she kept asking me which pump I was and did I punch in the code on the receipt. I told her several times I did not pump gas. There was no code to punch in because I paid directly at the car wash. This went on for a good 7 minutes. Does she finally gave me a new code. I was so frustrated. Trust me, I'm not trying to rob Shell of their $6. I just wanted my car washed. I tried my best not to lose it with this lady. I normally never get mad at anything. Workers are lazy and have no clue how to use a gift card. Went on July 18 at 4:10 PM and tried using a gift card and the worker was like oh that's all done through the app it's a new thing, gift cards are used through phone now. I just started at him like dude your such a clown what kids of idiotic thing to say. Didn't even argue drove to another shell in Brea and they accepted the gift card. read more

Horrible experience! Stopped to put gas and the nozzle came off the hose. Gas began pouring out onto my pants n sandals , my foot covered in gas Ran in to tell the attendant and she said ,You put gas?' I said no it's all over me and the floor . A man cane out and didn't say a word Bottom line the gas wasted on floor charged my debit card and they would not refund the money . It wasn't a lot of money but now it's more than the principle. No concern , care or apology for a customer . Raj ( the msn that cake out of office) states I need to wait until the 9th to talk to mgr!! It is the 30th today This place is a hazard, no stars Just had someone message me nasty words and comments of my review. I had gasoline spilled on my clothing and on me and this is nasty response was not necessary. I didn't bad mouth anyone but the service received on a hazardous dangerous situation. STOLE MONEY. I payed $20 for gas, just for my gas tank to show up still completely empty. Gas came out thru the pump, but not $20 worth. I drive a hybrid!!! Which is another reason $20 worth of gas would be more noticeable. The guy inside said there was no way to check if the pump gave me $20 worth of gas. Useless. Seems like the perfect scam. Uneventful Gas Station Experience- How it Should Be **************************************************** This is how pumping gas should be - completely mundane. Please refer to my downtown-crackhead Shell review titled "Buy Me Donuts Goddammit!" La Habra Shell is where I fill up the most. Its on the way to my folks place. I like it because its very spacious, well lit, and clean. I usually fill up late and I feel very safe at this location. There is no sleazy looking loiterers, no vagrants, no crowds, no graffiti, and no hassle. Pump your gas and relax. Easy to get in and out. The prices are good as well. I posted the current price for Jan 2, 2015. I cant speak for the carwash since I never used it. My only gripe is the air pump costs $1 per session and you only have time to fill two tires with that. It needs to be free for customers or a smaller fee like 25 cents. read more

The place was a bit run down and the bathroom was dirty, but the woman behind the counter was so sweet and funny!

Do not stop at this gas station. It would be worth the risk of running out of gas to make it to the next gas station. Their customer service is horrible!! I purchased a deluxe car wash ($9!) after I filled my tank and when I drove out my car had the same amount of dirt on it as it did when I drove in! When I tried to ask got for a refund and showed the employee the remaining dirt.. I was told that it was not a car wash per-say but a car rinse! I returned the next day to talk to her manager who ended up being just as rude as his employee. I ended up speaking finally to the owner who apologized and let me know the car wash was indeed broken and that he'd give me a code when it was fixed... Months later I have heard nothing and this yelp is my final complaint. Horrible. read more

If I could rate this negative stars I would. I selected the $8 car wash and it did not even wash my car. The wash took two minutes and the soap was not even dispensed nor did the bristles touch the front of my car. I have a scion TC I wish there was a way to get my money back. This place does NOT offer a rainy day carwash re-do or whatever it's called. I got a carwash one day and it rained the next. I asked if they have a policy that allows us to re-do the carwash if it rains the next day and the guy said "uh...no". Most other places will let you. I guess from now on I'll get my car wash at the one on Euclid and Valencia for the same price...plus free vacuum. read more
