Mom has a 2026 Honda Passport that she's been wanting to get a full detail job after nearby street construction left her car covered in dust. After a frenzied morning I took the car in for the 189.00 detail. As the small latino man walked up to me I panicked and realized I left my wallet at home. I told him I left my wallet behind and asked if they accepted Google Pay at the cashier. He rudely dismissed me and said "you need to check with them" and completely walked away leaving me with two cars waiting behind me. Who's "them" exactly? He was so rude and nasty in his response I said, You know what? Forget it. I navigated my way out of there and traveled to a car wash in Rowland Heights to have the work done. They did an amazing job too. I don't recommend these jerks at Sunny Hills. Very anti customer service. read more

We have been coming to this car wash for years. The staff is friendly and they do a great job with our cars. There are also great snacks and greeting cards in the shop. I've also heard the tacos are good. There is a nice area to sit outside under a pario patio while you wait for your car. There is also a monthly fee you can pay for unlimited car washes. Needed a car wash so took it here. After the wash, car still had multiple tried residue on hood that they didn't even try to remove, I can tell because I can remove it with my nail. Beware. Took my car here for Gold wash on 7/11/2026 they broke my passenger car seat. When I brought this to attention of manager Jorge he had one of his mechanics their on site to look at it he stated that they do not move the seats to vacuum ( a total lie) I don't have my passenger seat in that position where it's basically all the way to the dashboard! He refused to fix it and basically called me a liar! I called back later to speak with a manager and Jorge answered the phone... when I asked to speak with management he hung up the phone on me. This is unacceptable for a business to be treating their customers like this! This company will be reported. Just left this car wash and my sister got the platinum wash, she has a Tesla so their excuse was we are not familiar with cleaning Teslas, but anyways the cup area dirty didn't clean it the glove compartment didn't get wiped. Back seat didn't get wiped.Just overall horrible experience, so if you have a Tesla don't go there. Just do it yourself. read more

Very disappointed today. Sent our son there to get his interior cleaned no exterior wash needed . He was charged $100 which he was fine with . He asked to speak to manager after the detailer said he was done to address the car was still filthy . The manager responded with "I'm sorry my friend we are just so busy" we have been taking our cars here for years and unfortunately to get this feedback from our son we will not be going back . We send our kids to places we trust to be taken care of . Today's service is not a great example of keeping that family generation going . read more

I went to this place for a car wash years ago and had a terrible experience. I decided to go back because of how close it is to my house. The service just sucks. The staff is not friendly. The car wash is a tiny bit better than a drive through gas station wash bay. This morning I drove into to the place and no one budged. I just they were not open yet. 830 in the morning on a Saturday. They didn't tell me they were not open. They just sat there and looked at me like I was a moron. Meanwhile, I was thinking the same of them. Anyways, I left and went to Harbor Carwash (Which has gone down hill) but was packed full and open. They washed my truck in a reasonable amount of time. In other words, Sunny Hills Car Wash sucks. The car wash has self serve gas and drive up & unload area for through vacuuming and the to be set up the car to go through the carwash service portion. Customers have the option to sit under an arbored area and await the car to be done and have it dried and wiped down within the car interior. I should've checked better before I left, but the vacuuming was a mess , only half done, The interior still had debris on the seats and the console.. Was barely wiped down. When I told the manager that my car was dirty still, he just told me to leave and they did the best that they could and I needed to pay for a better wash. Since I never experienced this, I asked which wash will remove the tree saps and they recommended the Clay Wax. It was only one car in front of me and I waited over an hour. ** Review covering the AUTO DETAILING SERVICE ONLY ** Yesterday, I decided to have my small Prius detailed inside. The biggest frustration is when I arrived home, I noticed many spots that were missed. They failed to open and clean both glove compartments nor the center console storage area. Because I had taken the time to EMPTY them all completely beforehand, it was even more frustrating. I also noticed right away clear spots that were not touched. For me - for the price paid ($155) for the interior-only detailing (& a car wash), it was pretty ridiculous. It was as if they simply vacuumed then gave the interior a nice shine, rather than actually take the time to clean the small compartments and areas that were easily accessible. Years ago I had the same experience here, but since it had been a very long time and they are conveniently close by, I thought I'd give it another shot. To be honest, I was skeptical within the first few minutes as I was dropping my car off. The salesman writing up the ticket began walking around the car to determine how much the service would cost. I inquired about the big signs posted right above us that showed how much a mini-detailing or an interior-detailing service cost. He hesitated and said the prices have gone up. It seemed especially off due to him walking around and inspecting the car a few times before quoting a price higher than what was posted - for my small compact car. I am sure there are better option in the area that will do a better, more thorough, job next time. I am willing to pay a good amount for a quality job, but to drive away and still see plenty of dust in the a/c vents that I could wipe with my finger or that they didn't even take the time to open up and wipe the EMPTIED glove compartment? No thanks. I wish I had read these other reviews below first as it seems my experience is the norm when it comes to any type of detailing or cleaning. read more

I work within walking distance of this place. I saw that you get $3.00 off with your healthcare worker ID, so I decided to give it a try with my 2021 RAM 1500 truck. I normally go to the Buff n Shine car wash in La Habra and get the $20.00 package, which is okay with the spray on wax that you get with it. But you still have to dry and vacuum the car yourself. With my healthcare worker discount, the price was just a little more than Buff n Shine and I didn't have to dry or vacuum the truck (they charge extra for larger vehicles). They also offer oil changes, window tint and other basic car needs and detailing. While I wouldn't take my BEV daily driver here (I just go to the $6.00 Lightning Express car wash since it's small and is a lease anyway and is my beater), my two larger vehicles that I do own, my truck and Chrysler Pacifica, I would take at least monthly, if not more often. The outdoor waiting area is nicely shaded and the convenience store has a good selection of "stuff." It's not like the old Brea Car Wash I used to go to weekly, but it's pretty close. And being walking distance, for me, makes it really close... literally. read more

How professional..."You need to wax it" and tried to upsell me. It's been at least a year. Place is ample and has multiple bays fro detailing jobs. I just love that they are brushless. COVID protocols in play. Plexiglass shield, seating is socially distant. The car wash was adequate. Rear window had a few streaks. No big deal. We have a cat and two dogs so there were still some lose hairs that I just flicked out. The outside was dry and no droplets. Got my truck fully detailed. The guy checking me in told me they get out the tar on the paint with clay. The charge was $220. A bit much but I love my truck. They were not able to do what they promised, but still charged me. But I made it sound like they get this all the time and this is how they would get the tar out of my paint.. I'm gonna electrician if I tell you, I can get you power to your backyard and I do not deliver. There is no charge.
