This local hot spot has everything you'd want from an Authentic Mexican restaurant. The salsa bar is always stocked. While I assume this place is hopping in the evening when they bring in the DJ and move the tables out for a dance floor, it feels cold and echoey as a restaurant. Seafood mix cooked in a garlic sauce. Turns out they do not have this nor do they even make it at this location. Why even have it on the menu if you do not even make it?!! So we received a phone call from the restaurant telling us to cancel the whole order. We could have easily just received what they did have from our order, and received a refund for the parrillada. But instead they told us to cancel the whole order and order again. Wasting both ours and our grubhub drivers time. We will now think twice about ordering from El Agave from now on.
