We tried 10 different tapas and they ranged from good to excellent. All were very reasonably priced and delicious. We will definitely go back and will take some friends with us next time. We have eaten at many places that serve tapas and these are some of the best we have had. You can also order them as raison or plate (larger quantities). They also have a variety of fish, squid, and quiche but we have not tried those yet. They have menus in English or Spanish. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and speak a little English. We had no difficulty communicating with them. Seating consists of stools at the bar, 4 tables and chairs inside and 3-4 tables and chairs outside. Note: Euro cash only; credit cards are not accepted. Give it a try... you won't be disappointed.

You're standing in a warehouse full of barrels and the feel of the place is very energizing. Tours cluster around the 10-2:30 timeframe M-F. Check the website (English) for details. One negative is that the tour goes a little faster than I would have liked and I was struggling to understand the complicated Sherry-making process as the tour guide explained the next step or moved on to something else. The tasting is nice. You get a good half hour to taste 3 Sherries (one dry, one medium sweet and one sweet) at some benches in the bodega. A good time to relax, rest, and chat (meet the other tourists at your table too). Take your time. this stuff is strong. After the second tasting, my mom even plucked up the courage to whip out her German on the German tour group seated next to us. We skipped the "tapas" add-on. It was just some meats and cheeses and didn't look all that special. I also suggest buying something at the gift shop if you have any doubt (the prices of the Jerez are great here). We flew up to Barcelona after Sevilla and couldnt find much Jerez at all (definitely not the ones we tasted at Sandeman). Left Spain disappointed that we couldnt bring a bottle home with us.

We had four different wines and learned about the differences between Ribera and Rioja wines. I have always been a fan of Rioja and we had a delightful that was called Xanum Vinae Rioja. It was fantastic. We had a type of manchego cheese with the first two less aged wines and went on to a stronger cheese once we had two more aged wines. I strongly suggest going to a tasting! It was a great learning and cultural experience!

This was our first Supersol visit, this trip to Spain. This store presents itself like a budget grocery. The appearance is old and outdated, which can only be helped with a renovation, but still, the entire set-up was not very clean or well-presented. In budget grocery stores here in the US, they have simple shelves, and just line everything up, aisle after aisle. Much the same here. No featured products, no signage, no "mood" lighting, just florescence and linoleum. Produce looked cheap and hydroponic. Nothing particularly healthy-looking offered here. No specialty products by way of fancy diets, etc. No real selection of prepared foods. While it looked budget, prices were not very different from other stores, at least for what we bought. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly, lines moved quickly, and they had the basic foods we needed for road trip snacks for our day.
