We were so lucky to find this delightful B+B within the walls of Quebec City. The location was…read moreperfect (easy walking distance to most areas) and our hosts, Claude and Nicole, were so welcoming and helpful.
We checked in to find a note congratulating us on our 49th anniversary along with a bottle of ice cider! The Moose room was small but very comfortable and there were two sitting areas upstairs in addition to an outdoor terrace. Breakfast was outstanding! With a choice of sweet or savory we chose the savory each morning. Starting with a small treat (one morning was a scone with maple cream on top), we then devoured an omelet (different each day) with potatoes, fruit, yogurt and toast. A sweet (fudge one day) completed the meal which was accompanied by a selection of coffees and teas as well as juice. We weren't hungry when lunch rolled around! We would both recommend Le Coureur des Bois most highly!
