Freshly made ice cream from a local source along with delicious drinks and desserts to choose from . The Chamoyata , Horchata and ice cream are my personal favorites.

There was nice variety of homemade flavors to choose from! The interior really fit the theme for a wholesome place to go for a sweet treat with little ones or somewhere fun to just beat the heat. They also offer milk-free options as well! I'll definitely be headed back for more flavors as GA heats up!

The workers are friendly, the shop is clean, and the mangonada was delicious and not overpriced. There's a parking lot outside. I'm not really sure if I had any other expectations! Everything was great.

Elote always delicious but my nachos were stale some of the chips. I told the worker and she replied I'm sorry as I threw them away

I have been here a few times. Never had a issue. It's always clean attentive workers. Never hard to place an order and lots of 2 chair table setups. Today I ordered the elote corn in a cup with a nacho. Previous yelp pics helped me decide on the nacho. Paid for my stuff and couldn't resist that thick melted cheese all-over the nacho's so I had to grab one. Delicious cheese and nice pickled jalapenos but after about 6nachos I got a few stale ones. I continued eating because I'm greedy and had to stop after realizing the rest of them were pretty stale. You know how you might get one but the rest is cool? Nah, the rest was stale. The few on top were fresh crispy chips. I told the worker that was at the register and she apologized but that was it. I tossed them in the garbage in front of her and walked out. The other part of my order was delicious as usual. The nacho's were good but I'm sure they are much better with fresh tortilla chips.

Yum! Plenty of desserts and snacks to choose from. There's elote, esquite (elote in a cup) , chips & salsa in a bag, chamoyada and etc. We got 2 snacks:chamoyada with mango and a small esquite (elote in a cup). The small esquite was pretty tasty with lots of mayo on top and cheese. Definitely mix the corn before eating or you'll get a big ol glob of mayo and cheese. Chamoyada was delicious. A mixture of salty, sour and sweet. It's scoops of mango sorbet with syrup, tajin and a tamarind stick. Flavor explosion. Get one! Looking forward to returning to get a midday snack and sweets.

NOMS for Mexicana dessert/street food! They have a variety of different types of snacks/appetizers here as well as drinks. Enjoy! The menu is pretty lengthy. Delicious Chamoyada! They have an array of different flavors. Mango would have to be my favorite. The Guava is tasty, but it's also seedy (no thanks!). I wanted to try the corn on a cob, but they were out until another hr so I went with regular corn that's shaved off... it wasn't the same because it was so watery. So I guess I'll have to make another trip back to try the corn on a cob. ***$5 minimum for credit card use or you'll have a 0.50 charge.*** Parking is in a private plaza lot, but it's small and limited.

I absolutely love it here. It's very nostalgic for me. Taking me back to such a special time. I've been a few times now and each time I've tried something different. Today I went with the Esquite and a Mango Sorbet. My first time trying the esquite I had them put everything in it, (mayo, fresh squeezed lIme juice, cheese & chili spice) and I didn't care for the lime juice. This time I had it minus the lime juice and I must say it was deeeeelicious! Creamy, cheesy goodness! The mango sorbet had a very fresh mango flavor. It's was almost like biting into a mango fresh off the tree. It was so refreshing, even when the high was 36 degrees. I highly recommend going in the middle of the day or week if possible. Parking can be very limited. Overall it's a Must Try!

I mainly come here to get the street corn. They do have treats. It's been months since I've been here and that's mainly because they left a bad taste in my mouth. One evening me and a friend went and when we walked in, the ladies behind the counter said they were closed. However the sign stated still an hour left. They said they closed early for a store party. Why wasn't the door locked? Why wasn't there a sign notifying customers of this? Therefore, due to that incident today was my first time there in months. Overall, the street corn and tres leches are pretty good.

Love this spot! We visited on the first warm day of spring, and our visit was an excellent decision! The place was packed. The parking lot was absolutely full, and the line was a mile long, and it was still one hundred percent worth the visit. There was no seating available, so my family and I camped out in the back of our SUV to enjoy our treats. I had the mango chamoyada. My husband had ice cream, and my son had a kiwi paleta. All were fantastic! There were so many things on the menu and that I saw other people eating that I am excited to try in the future, including an opened bag of Doritos filled with salsa. This spot will become a regular stop for me. Go today.

What the heck is a Chamoyada? Who cares, give me one! La Mejor De Michoacan is a diamond in the sea. Hands down to the best..I mean the BEST homemade Ice cream I've ever had. The Ice cream is so rich in flavors that's it's scary to think where have I been all my life? I absolutely love how this place if filled with bright, lively Mexican ice cream flavors & colorful décor. It's easily missed since it's tucked away to the side of a small shopping center. Lively tropical fruit flavors -- mango, strawberry, coconut, guava, pineapple, tamarind, lime --- all appeal to the Hispanic culinary tradition, and not to mention they're homemade with real fruit. The signature Ice Cream here is the CHAMOYADO. What is a Chamoyada? A chamoyada is a dessert made with sorbet 'ice cream' and topped with Chamoy, Lime & Chile Powder. In my opinion this is spicy ice cream. I absolutely love this, but I'm not too crazy about it. After a while, it gets tiring. Homemade Ice Cream: Yum! Yum! Yum! You'll only appreciate homemade Ice Cream if you've never had it your whole life. The flavor is just so real & rich. My favorites are the Mango & Guava. The mango makes me feel like I'm actually eating a real Mango. Enough Said...it's to die for. CORN!!! I've never had Mexican corn before, so this is something new to me. The corn had crazy flavors like: sweet, spicy, sour, and creamy mayo?? Ohhh my my. I'm so in love. Nachos: perfectly crunchy with a touch of cheese and jalapenos. Overall, La Mejor De Michoacan is definitely living up to the hype. They definitely have the best homemade Ice Cream & snacks. Be adventurous and try everything on their menu. You won't regret it.

Mango chamoyada ($4.09). Salty, sour, sweet amazingness!

Thank you, TikTok, because it led us here!…read more We've been seeing those elotes in a bag all over social media and knew we had to try them. Let me tell you they were BOMB.COM! Sooooo good! The flavors were on point, and I can definitely see why everyone has been raving about them. We also ordered the special bag that comes loaded with everything, including pig ears and other toppings. It wasn't really our thing, but don't take my word for it! I'm Asian, so I'm just not used to that flavor combination. It could easily be someone else's favorite dish. I also got a chamoyada, and it did not disappoint. It was refreshing, flavorful, and exactly what I needed on a hot day. Overall, the elotes alone are worth the trip, and we'll definitely be back again real soon!

Don't be afraid of not speaking the language or scared to order because the business' name is all in Spanish. The employees do speak English. And if you happen to get someone who doesn't know Spanish, you can always do the pointing at the menu type style ordering. I grew up in Gainesville, and I've been exposed to Mexican/Latino food all my life. This spot had those reminiscent moments but with a more modern flair with the coffee drinks. There were also the Latino specialty items like the snacks from a chip bag and unique platters of something I wouldn't know what it is (paleta loca per menu). They even had bananas dipped in chocolate for the less daring. The hubs and I shared the strawberry and creme bar along with a small corn in a cup (esquite). They were both delicious! I'm neither an ice cream person or corn person like that, and these two picks blew me away. The ice cream bar was super creamy. There were circular chunks of strawberries that made it very unique. The address on the wrapper had an Athens address so it's great that we're supporting something ethnic and local. I'm not always a fan of ice cream bars because of it being icy. You know like when you suck all the flavor from the bar and all that's left is the ice portion. But each bite of this bar was creamy and flavor filled. That corn in a cup was amazingly delightful. The hubs and I have had elotes before, but this was another level since it's in a cup. The crumbled cheese, chili powder with the layers of crema sauce was so yummy with the warm layers of corn. Would we come back again?! Uh. Yes. Let's try the different menu items and seasonal drink that starts from Oct. to Feb.

Fujiissa (inside the Jusgo Supermarket food court) was such a pleasant surprise for a quick dessert…read morestop! As we walked up to check out the menu, the cashier--Jason--immediately offered us samples of their soft serve flavors. That alone was unexpected, but it got even better when he told us we could try up to three flavors. Great service right from the start. We sampled the premium matcha, milk, and black sesame, and honestly, we were shocked by how generous the sample portions were. They weren't tiny bites either--we were actually getting full just from tasting everything. Premium Matcha (3/5): This is definitely geared toward true matcha lovers. It had an authentic, earthy, slightly bitter profile with grassy, umami-rich notes and a clean finish. You can tell it's high quality and not overly sweetened, which is a plus--but it leaned a bit too bold and bitter for our personal taste. Milk (5/5): This one was our favorite. It had a light, delicate sweetness with a smooth, velvety, creamy texture. The flavor was rich but not heavy, almost like a fresh dairy softness with a subtle vanilla-like warmth. Super comforting and perfectly balanced. Black Sesame (4/5): A really unique flavor--deep, toasted, and nutty with a slightly savory edge. It had a roasted aroma, a hint of natural bitterness, and a lingering sesame richness that made it feel complex and satisfying. Definitely something different if you want to try a less common flavor. After finishing the samples, we ordered a milkshake ($6.27 with tax) and asked if we could mix the regular matcha with the milk soft serve. Jason had no problem with that at all, which we appreciated. We also made sure to tip because the service and generosity really stood out. The milk/matcha milkshake itself was amazing--ultra creamy, smooth, and well-blended with a silky texture. The sweetness was just right (not overpowering), and the matcha added a subtle depth without being too strong. It was refreshing, satisfying, and honestly the perfect after-dinner dessert. Light enough to enjoy comfortably, but still indulgent. Overall, great flavors, super friendly service, and a welcoming experience. The generous samples and flexibility with orders really set this place apart. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the Jusgo food court and craving something sweet!
