I order two cold coffees and they failed me watered down no flavor never again makes me sad horchata de olla and Mexican chocolate and the guy that took my order was not talkative at all.

I love La Monarca and was so happy to find this location in Huntington Park. Everything is so good, and tasty. But the service is what keeps me coming every time. Albert is so kind, and hard working. There's been times when I come and I see him handling multiple coffee orders at once. And thankfully my coffee always tastes good :). The establishment is also really nice, I like to come just to have my coffee, and chill. Sometimes I bring something to read :). Definitely a must visit in Huntington Park.

I love La Monarca and was so happy to find this location in Huntington Park. Everything is so good, and tasty. But the service is what keeps me coming every time. Albert is so kind, and hard working. A friend recommended this bakery to me because she absolutely loves their pan dulce. I needed to bring breakfast items for a funeral, so I decided to try them out since they offer catering with pan dulce and to-go carafes of coffee. Although most of the employees primarily spoke Spanish and I don't know the language, they went out of their way to assist me, which I deeply appreciate. One staff member, Estela, was especially patient and helped me gather all the bread I needed. The entire process was smooth, and when I brought everything to the viewing, everyone loved the bread and coffee. It was a huge hit. The champurrado wasn't very good either. Too thin and not very chocolatey. They are in a huge parking lot.

I came in because it was closer to home. I usually go to the one in Whittier. I have to say bad customer service.... I was in line and another customer comes in after me and the staff never acknowledged I was there, and starts taking the other customers order. How unprofessional is that. I will never come here again. I rather take the drive to Whittier. There was a staff member who at least smiled and helped but when I corrected her with my order she started giving me attitude.... 2 thumbs down read more

If you are a Horchata lover then you must try this wonderful mexican bakery cafe place! Delicious horchata cake and horchata latte and frap! Cafe de olla is one of my favorites and my family! Authentic cafe de olla is so hard to find and this is the place to go! Los Angeles Culture Vibes and Mexican culture vibes! Great music from latino/ hispanic artist in stores atmosphere! The bread is good but most of the time it's old, for example from the morning. They don't make the same bread every single day which is sad because I can go every day for the bread that I want. The staff is okay they're not experts in customer service but they do their job. The place is clean overall, but there is no bathroom for the customers. Most of the stuff is overpriced. read more

This bakery finally does Mexican baked sweets justice. The conchas ("sea shells" named for the shape) are pillowy, the filled croissants far more generous than Porto's and best of all, the cakes are light (yes, even the frosting) and not dense. I just wished they'd opened years ago when I lived just down the street! read more

I will never come back to this store. The breads and cakes are delicious but it was up to the point where i had to pay and this lady who I believe was the shift manager was mistreating an employe who appeared to look new. I hope the manager or the owner sees this review and does something about it. read more
