We found ourselves unexpectedly in the neighborhood. The food was great. The staff was friendly. Portions were very generous. I had a beef fajita torta and a jimica agua Fresca. Great market with just about anything you might need for some Mexican cooking. We perused the aisles before grabbing some tacos to go. Pay at the register first and they'll cook up your tacos and take your meat order at the counter. They've got maybe 10 stools or so that seem to open up fairly quickly, but space is pretty tight so expect to make friends. Prices are very reasonable for really good tacos, so I'd be back to try more and see what their lunch plates are like next time. read more

if I could give them a zero, I would. We purchased 2 tacos. We waited over 30 minutes and left. They need to have some common sense on how they take orders. There should be someone that can take the small order and get them out the door. It takes less than 30 seconds to put meat into a tortilla. I shouldn't have to wait for them to fill every to go order or worse wait until the guy that brings his entire crew and orders 20 - 30 tacos. Can't here to purchase meat. As soon as I walked in the girl at the register told me that my 8 year old daughter had to wait at the register with her while I shopped.... I asked why and she said "I don't know." I am not sure if it's standard practice here to try to separate kids from there parents or not but it's creepy. I would never leave my child in the front of a grocery store alone while I go to the back... that makes absolutely no sense. I usually try to avoid this place due to the employees. But every now and then I have to go there to buy certain things. I was there this passed Saturday, and I happened to buy a beer there. The lady at the register assumed I was under age (didn't even bother to card me) and told my uncle I was with that he has to pay for the beer. And she had an attitude the whole time. We had an itch to grill today, specifically fajitas. We go this this small meat market here in Pearland. They have a good variety of meat, but we go specifically for the marinated fajita meat. Today we decided to get marinated shirt ribs and marinated chicken wings as well. I'm not much of a cook, but with my wife's grilling expertise, we cooked all the meat to perfection. The meat comes marinated, so the flavor was on point. You can also pick up groceries and all the fixings for your tacos. For an added bonus, they have a set up for hot food like tacos, tortas, and other quick eats. I'm glad I don't have to venture too far out of town for quality fajita meat. read more

i decide to go to La Moreliana next to pizza hut in pearland to get some tacos and as i am sitting there with my tacos i notice some movement. I look closer AND there is a maggot on the taco crawling through the cilantro and onions! I immediately take it to the front to get a refund. As i am leaving, the cashier takes my plate to the back to show the cooks what happened and she responds by laughing. Needless to say I wont be eating there again! It's a supermarket with a lunch counter on the side and they prepare very tasty authentic tacos. The barbacoa and pierna tacos were as good as the best tacos trucks in the city. The red and green sauces were just meh. If you go, be prepared to brush up on your espaniol seeing as there is only one guy in the whole place who speaks english. Authentic and friendly. read more

It's good food. The barbacoa on the weekends is not that bad. I do not like that they charge for the green sauce. i always get two little cups to go. i go to the counter and ask for two small 2 oz. cups. they charge 0.25 per cup. i do not care, 0.50 isn't going to break me but do you really need to charge when i am already buying food anyway. it's not like i'm only coming in for the sauce. in the end it doesn't matter because i go to this place at least once a month. read more
