This is a fantastic kids museum. I love the multiple levels and things for them to do the modern technology of scanning the wristbands for photos was amazing. Although it didn't always work. The water feature on the top floor was the biggest hit for my kids. The second favorite, I believe would be the large indoor playground. I would recommend having your kids wearing a watch so they know when to come check back with you. That's one thing I wish I would've done. read more

What an amazing place for kids!! This is one of the larger children's museums I've been to. My grandson loved the big jungle gym and my granddaughter could not be torn away from the water features. There are large elevators so the wait time is very good. There is a small cafe on the entry level. I was so happy to see this establishment for the kiddos. When visiting family, this has been a must go for us. We went once when our kid was 14 months and again when he was 26 months. We have been with older nephews as well. La Nube is a great museum where families can interact with science, music, art, and so on My kids had a great time. You can even leave and come back. There 3 floors of fun activities for everyone even little ones. Make sure you make reservations cause you may not get in. So much fun. read more

We finally got to check out the new La Nube STEAM Discovery Center! To be quite honest, it's the best STEAM experience I've had with my kids. ‍ We used to live next to the Discovery Cube in Orange County and went there regularly as members. I've been to various children's museums and discovery centers around the country, and none come close to how interactive and inclusive La Nube feels. It feels intentional, like it's truly trying to bring everyone together. When you walk in, the exhibits may seem a bit bare because they're above you, but the space is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, and more. This is definitely a space for everybody. ‍ The elevators are wide, and the aisles are spacious to allow easy movement for both people and mobility vehicles. The fact that they have two elevators is convenient, although only one was operating during our sneak preview visit. The kids immediately clamored up to the climbers and had a blast! ‍ I loved being able to follow them at my own pace, seeing them through different levels as the stairs intertwined with the climber. It makes it easy to be interactive and part of their experience while keeping an eye on them since there are many levels where you could easily lose sight of your kids. At one point, a child got lost and started crying. I comforted her and signaled to a staff member who quickly located her parents. The staff's prompt response was much appreciated. They all have walkie-talkies to communicate throughout the museum. I also appreciated that everything is in dual languages, English and Spanish, with neither taking precedence over the other. It's freeing to see both languages heard and seen equally, reflecting the multicultural community I love. Every level has different exhibits, all interactive and thoughtfully designed. There are no instructions, allowing kids and their imaginations to run wild. As a rule-follower, this was initially hard for me to comprehend, but seeing my children's creativity and excitement made me realize that this was intentional. My favorite part was probably the Fab Lab section, which looks like a maker space where you can create. It engages both the creative and analytical sides of your brain, with one side focused on mathematics, coding, and robotics, and the other on hands-on activities like braiding and drawing. Kudos to whoever designed that space; it served both my children well. Another great feature is the large area dedicated to kids under three. Even though my kids couldn't participate, it's great to have a space where young children can play safely. A staff member explained that this area was designed to help with speech development, encouraging kids to learn sounds and progress with their speech. I'm also in love with the family restrooms and nursing rooms. This center is definitely created with kids and families in mind, and it's great for moms too. ‍ The spaces are comfortable, bright, and cheery. You're not stuffed in a corner if you're breastfeeding, which I love. It's a fantastic addition for El Paso. Despite its relatively small footprint, the museum is packed with interactive exhibits, ensuring you won't get bored. We foresee spending many days here exploring and enjoying everything it has to offer. The staff is well-trained and explains complex areas like the wind exhibit, enhancing our understanding and learning experience. ‍ We're ready to get our membership and enjoy the center as soon as it opens. I can't wait to see the rest of the Borderland experience this amazing space. Some areas are still under construction, and there's a gift shop and cafeteria run by Healthy Bites, which I'm excited about. They will offer birthday parties, field trips, summer camps, and intersession camps through their website at www.la-nube.org. What's really cool is that when you scan your armband and create a profile, the museum experience comes home with you. They'll email you pictures of experiences like the Kaleidoscope or being inside the star, sliding down with cool stats like your miles per hour. It delights the nerd in me. First time visiting today and we were very impressed! Every single staff member we interacted with was SO kind and helpful. You can tell they genuinely enjoy working there and that makes a huge difference in everyone's overall experience. My daughter is 8 and I feel like there was plenty to keep her engaged. Her favorite part by far was the water area and we spent most of our time there as well as the area where you can create and launch paper airplanes. Tons of activities for kids of all ages and a nice clean climbing structure to burn off some energy while still being in the AC! Can't wait to come back to visit again! read more

Everything was created with children in mind. We were able to spend 4 hours in there with a 19mo and 3yo. Didn't even feel like we were there for so long. My boys were able to explore and staff was kind especially when dealing with the children. We saw all sorts of kids, ranging from infant to teen interacting with the exhibits. It was so accessible that kids we saw with wheelchairs or other medical equipment blended right in with all the fun. 10/10 will go again. My son absolutely loved all the floors everything is different on each one and there's 4 floors in total. I suggest bringing extra clothes for the kiddos as the last floor is very wet . Otherwise a very pleasant experience and everyone was so helpful. read more

This place is SO AMAZING and INTENTIONAL. It wasn't created based on what kids should or might want/need, you can tell the creator/designer KNOWS kids at a fundamental level because ever corner had something... maybe it's an activity or a design aspect/feature or a texture. It was more than just aesthetically pleasing, it was truly created with intention and intellect. The staff was also so fantastic! Everyone is so kind and friendly and truly enjoys working there. We have a 21 month old and we spent almost 3 hours there and definitely could have spent longer. We live in Phoenix but have family in El Pas so we'll definitely come back next time we visit. Our daughter LOVED the 3 and under area. Heck, I LOVED IT! There were so many activities- things she was already familiar with and then new adventures. She loved the musical instruments and watching the balls go down the railings. She also loved crawling the cozy domes and pushing the sound buttons. My favorite touch was the stuffed animals that were directly from books! I thought that was such a fun IYKYK feature. It was so cute to identify the characters from books I already knew. My only feedback is the lack of drinking fountains on the 4th floor (you have to go down to the 2nd) although the bathrooms are clean and set up for all ages. I also recommend providing some high chairs at the cafe and more apron sizes for the water activity. Right now they only have 1 size and they were just a bit too big for my daughter. read more
