Brought my 6 and 2 year Olds here for some fun! The staff was great! The rides and golf is age appropriate for my 6 year old. My little one liked the train. I recommend getting the unlimited if your child can ride everything on their own (or at least will) because $25 for 2 hours is a decent amount of time to tire them our and get on everything once. This place is awesome for kids. You have a variety of things to do. Price is average and not too expensive. They do have free refills on drinks. The only disadvantage to this is the $5 minimum they have on food items. I'm betting they would have more sales if they got rid of this. Other than that, the concept is right on. The kids working there could be a little more customer friendly. They tend to ignore the kids. That is why the 4 stars. I said hello more to than the staff then they did to me. Good ol' Bob-O's. My better half and I decided to do a double date with his daughter and her hubby this past weekend and despite it being crazy packed we still had a really good time. We only came for the mini golf (and you should know they have the best mini golf course in El Paso), but I can say from experience that the other attractions are nice too. Like I said it was packed so when we went to pick up our putters after paying, we were informed that they only had a couple of the taller ones available. Luckily when we were walking to the first green someone was willing to trade putters with us. The course was well maintained and with the exception of one hole, they were all well-lit. I can say from experience (whooping on everybody) that the go carts are a lot of fun. Most of them are pretty fast, but there's a few stragglers so you just have to pay attention when choosing. Bob-O's is mostly staffed by 16-20 somethings so sometimes you'll have a stellar experience and sometimes it's just average. Definitely give it a go and if you have a few hours to spare, opt for the wristbands that include just about everything except for putt-putt and the batting cages. read more

Bob-O's has a go-kart track (not bumper), an 18 hole mini golf course, laser tag arena, arcade, a teeny tiny little railroad ride for kids, a batting cage and a pool with float boat things that you can shoot water out of. There's also an eating area where pizza, chicken wings, drinks, slush puppees, candy, churros and nachos are sold. For the price, the fun center is good for children but maybe too kiddy for teenagers. The arcade games are decent token prices too. The only areas that are air conditioned are the laser tag, arcade and food area. It's really hot outside so go during cool hours, wear sunscreen and hats during the day. We recently had my sons birthday party here. This place is super crowded on the weekends but the kids don't notice because they just want to have fun. You can pick whatever package you would like and you pay anywhere from $15-20 per child. We got a party room and got the kids wrist bands, if you go here make sure you get the wristbands, don't be cheap and only do half of the activities! The laser tag is fun and so is the go carts! It is worth the extra few bucks! Having a birthday party here came with its little hiccups, but nothing our party host didn't fix. Forgive me, but I forgot his name because I am a hot mess and I was being screamed at by a million 10 year old boys. He made sure we had plenty of pizzas, and if we ran out I just let him know it was okay to put another one in if people looked hungry. Bob O's has really good chicken wings to go along with their pizza, and that was an added bonus for me because I really don't like pizza, so while these kids were driving me nuts, I got to stress eat on a huge 30 wing platter. One thing about laser tag, kids under 6 cannot play so we had some guests at our party who could not play laser tag. Our party host apologized for not telling me sooner and even gave me some coupons for another day. We were able to use the party room for about two hours, which got a little crowded, then we moved outside. The party host helped us move everything outside and made sure all the kids had cups for the soda machine with their names written on them. So, bottom line, Bob O's is a good place to have a birthday party, they have a good set up and are pretty organized. I would definitely have another party there. read more

Terribly run place. Rude staff. No where clean to sit and eat our overpriced food. When we asked an employee to help us find somewhere to sit he tried cramming us into a corner instead of cleaning up the dirty vacant tables or opening up an entire clean section. We recently moved here and needed a place to have our daughter's birthday party so we stopped by a few places to check them out. After looking on several different websites and stopping in a couple of places, we settled on Bob-O's and glad we did. We got the middle package with 2 activities and 2 laser odyssey sessions which I think was a pretty good deal. Since they need to keep on schedule, it is a good idea to stress to guests on the party invites to please be prompt and come at the starting time. There is a certain time for eating, laser sessions, etc... (Understandably since they have other parties going on.) So if your guests are late, they may miss out on a really fun time! My husband and I joined in on the activities and had a blast! The laser sessions were the biggest hit with everyone (11 year olds and adults.) They have some staff walking in around the laser area checking to make sure everything is going well. The birthday package includes 10 guests and the birthday guest is free (so 11 total). So you'll get 11 packages of tokens and 11 wrist-bands for the outside activities. Should you not have enough guests (or some don't show up, like with us), they will give you extra vouchers for the left-over wrist-bands. (Or you could use them up on the same visit if you like.) The birthday guest gets a special gift- which for our daughter was something like 300 free tickets (the same that the different games dispense when you win points, etc.) and a large lollipop. The only thing lacking was the pizza...it was very bland- I couldn't taste the sauce at all, but it was included with the package and it filled our bellies, especially after the laser sessions. Also included was the choice of 3 drinks which the host kept filled. The facilities were clean, it looked like all of the games were in proper order. (I've been to places where 1/2 the games were out-of-order/broken, but didn't have any problem with that here.) The party host was very nice and helpful. I felt bad because we didn't see any place on the credit card slip to give her a tip and we didn't have any cash on us at all. So maybe bring some cash to tip if you have a party there. One tip I would give is to print out the schedule they will email you once you book your birthday package. The reason I say this is because 1) we were having so much fun that the time was slipping away and we ran over a little bit- just in case you have parents needing to pick up their kids right when the slotted party time is up... and 2) when they announce the laser session for your specific birthday party it is VERY hard to hear anything they say on the speakers. So keep an eye on your watch/phone so you'll know when your session is about to start. The host did come to remind us when the session would start, but I was a little confused as to whether she would come and take us to the laser session or not, so we went up there and waited so we wouldn't miss out. As far as the outside activities, we did the bumper boats and go-karts. Both were a lot of fun. I initially didn't know you could spray each other on the bumper boats so that would be a great warm weather activity. We got SOAKED, but we were all laughing and laughing! (We dried off pretty quickly on the go-karts.) I would definitely suggest this place for kids' birthday parties. I looked around on some websites for some other places- granted they would go over well for younger kids maybe, but several of them were super expensive. I think this was very reasonably priced and offered a lot more than your usual Chuck-E-Cheese. Also, the activity level keeps everyone going and there is plenty to do. (Like I said, my husband and I participated in all of the activities- had we not had to stay up very late the night before due to him having to come in on a red-eye flight, we would have stayed much longer after the party ended.) WARNING: Don't ever have a party or event at Bobos. The employees were so rude!! The manager was the worst one she was not welcoming or accomodating. Me and my boss had are client appreciation event there and they kept telling our clients to move and making them feel so unwelcome. They apparently needed the tables we were sitting at for another party, and this "other party" never showed. I think they just didnt want to clean. So we had to rush our event for nothing. Just asking for a pizza or more tickets was an issue it made the manager so angry when I would ask for more tickets for our guests, it was such a horrible task for her to give me more tickets. You would think that bringing more business would make them happy it just aggravated them. Never again!!! We will never have our event here again! I recommend you buy all the attractions and rides separately because when adding it all up your actually paying for stuff you may not even use but they are included in the package. My friend and I had gone to BOBOS for an early fun time with our two small children ages 4 yrs old. We asked for tokens so they can play, and were refused service. As confused as we were, we spoke to the manger at BOBOS which was the THE OWNER To my surprise she said, there was a private party going on, as I turn around to see who & where the party was, it was ONE table of 8. 2 adults and 6 kids that were eating out of the whole darn large place. Our small children couldn't play "ONE"game?? The ugly manager said NO, it was a private party. And that there was a sign in the entrance of the door. I swear the paper looked like so small . Who in the world could see this???? So I asked if we stayed out of the way in the far corner we could explain to two excited children to stay in the one corner as not to interrupt anyone. My friend and I will supervise so there won't be any disruptions. The manager said NO l'm sorry I can't. The children were asking why? we are good, why?? we won't be in the way. My heart just broke for them. But the woman insisted No, No No. For this reason, I would give BOBO's a -1 for there establishment. I vowed "NEVER" to return again. I believe a childrens business is an amazing adventure, for children to have fun and have a memorable time. VERY VERY DISAPOINTED. For BOBO's , yes You(Manager )you obviously don't care about children to turn away two well behaved children away, is "NOT" kid friendly, but sends a message only certain children are welcome. It tells me a large so call a party of 8 meant more. Greed, more like it. To the the owner shame on you. We ended going to ADVENTURE ZONE and had a fantastic time. As far as inside the ladies were rude and did not let us order wings because they were going to be busy getting pizzas ready. We had a family outing and bought the 3 hr unlimited pass, x4. Nice deal if any of the rides had their operators there. We were constantly waiting, and had to get the manager in several occasions to get an employee to do their job. So if you want to pay to wait, this is the place. We will never come back. Terrible customer service. Staff is unprofessional and very poorly trained. Food is mediocre and there are very few choices. Still, best not to eat here...Also there are very few attractions for an over-priced fee. Advertised prices (and hours of operation) change on a whim. Owner/ General Manager shows little regard for customer satisfaction. Once in, difficult to get an attendant to help you. Kids are able to do everything in a short period...Not worth the drive. Very small children have virtually nothing to do here. There are other family amusement parks that offer better attractions, lower prices, more restaurant quality food, and a courteous staff for the entire family. Skip this place!
