Great food. Varied menu with awesome daily specials. Happy hour 12-2 and 4-6. Super friendly. Highly recommend.

I have to say that the wait staff is exceptional at La Palapa. Whether you're eating in the restaurant or lounging by the pool. They are attentive, hard working and kind. The food is also great. They have a wide range of choices to make eaters of all ages happy. Definitely recommend! An extra bonus is that you have a fantastic view of the ocean.

Great restaurant open to the public, very clean! Employee friendly, great service, both indoor and outdoor dining.

We enjoyed this restaurant while at Torres. Prices were reasonable and the food was good. Juan, our bartender, was great and gave us some great advice. We pretty much lived off Ceviche and guacamole, but also tried their special that came in a stone bowl and was very good. If you want authentic ceviche you need to let your bartender or waiter know that you do not want them to cook the shrimp or octopus prior and just cooked it in lime juice. They have very good Mexican food, but they are definitely working to make sure they keep the type of guest who voted for Trump from getting upset.

Great staff; put on a show for the customers; friendly and helpful; most of the food is good; just remember they do try to make American style but it is not the stuff from home; the Mexican dishes are wonderful; order any of those and you can't go wrong.

Excellent food and service. Specialty nights add diversity and additional menu options. New chef has enhanced menu and options.

Had a nice dinner here with great views. A very safe bet among the touristy area of Mazatlan.

This place is actually called Mr. Lions. Came here last year and was unimpressed but my friend…read morereally wanted one of their drinks in a coconut "coco loco" is what it's called. Some positives: - it's on the beach, - great view of the ocean, - the special guacamole is delicious That's all. It took over 20 minutes to get a server to take our drink order and the place wasn't busy. But in the meantime the tequila sample guy brought over 4 bottles of tequila for us to taste. Eventually a server came by after we flagged one down took our orders. My order came wrong twice. How do you screw up a beer. Oh well. The coco loco took a long time to come to the table, but it's a giant coconut and probably took time to break into. I shared the special guacamole with my one friend and the other ordered the chicken chimichangas. She loved them. If my friend didn't want to come to this location I never would have come back.

Nice venue. Nice hospitable staff. We loved Cesar and Jesus, they were extremely attentive and…read morekind. Drinks were great and the venue allows for live music and some dancing. Staff keeps the night moving with a fun party vibe. I'd definitely recommend this place for a small group looking for fun, music (acoustic 80s/70s top 40 hits) & drinks. Food was VERY bland. I had the enchiladas rojos and it didn't taste like anything at all... tortillas were dry and the chicken inside was dry and bland, the cheese was thick and greasy and it dominated the dish. I definitely wouldn't return for any food. Looking for authentic mexican cuisine and this was a disappointment to the taste buds.
