We were at the Plaza Armenia branch for a light breakfast last week. There were just a couple of occupied tables. We both ordered cafe con leche, it was proper. My wife had an ok cheesy scone and I ordered a croissant. I will remember this forever because it was the worst croissant ever. Dry and tasteless, it was a block of dough without layers. I only bit a corner and left it on the plate . I did not bother to complain to the young waiter who was not attentive or curious about it. The ambiance is indeed cutesy and the service is average. I guess the quality of food is secondary. I would avoid this place if you care about that. read more

Such a cute shop!! Has free WiFi and their food and drinks are superb! I got the Glass of Limonade with Honey and a passion fruit and it tasted amazing. It was so fresh and authentic. My friend got French Toast which she really enjoyed. There is an outdoor area with umbrellas and also lots of seating indoors. Cute pink decor and the staff is also very friendly- they speak minimal English but you can get by with pointing to things on the menu. read more

This is a mediocre place at best. The place is nicely decorated and service was attentive though pretty slow. Food was not good but it wasn't terrible. I ordered a "merienda heavy" and the eggs were burnt, tasted like nothing. The waffle that comes on the side was literally a rock, impossible to bite. They didn't ask if I wanted my toast whole wheat or white, they came out white but randomly whole wheat for my friend. The star of the merienda was the scone, it was excellent. read more

A complete disaster. We went in a group 4 for a 'merienda' on a Sunday. The place was packed and really hot inside, the AC was not working properly and it was leaking above our table. They gave us the menus and 15 minutes went on without any waiter approaching us. Great place in which you eat what you buy. There's no lying in the menu. The waitress was super professional and the attention was superb. The food was served quickly and it was tasty. Great place to have a quick and cheap ($$) dinner. read more

The food here is solid, but they are extremely rude. I've been in twice since I've been in BA - the first time, we ordered "cafe frio sin azucar" (without sugar) very clearly. The coffees came out extremely sweet so we tried to send them back. The waitress was rude and made a big deal about replacing them. We didn't get new ones for 30 min. I went back another day because it's in the neighborhood and again, the food is solid, but this time the service was even worse. I ordered a sandwich "integral" and waited 35-40 min. When it came out, it was not the sandwich I ordered. After looking at the menu again, I realized there are two sandwiches with the word "integral" in the name. The waitress did not ask me to confirm which when I was ordering. In any case, I tried to send it back and they said no! They were actually really mean about it, telling me it was my fault and ignoring me when I spoke. I waited another 40 min for the right sandwich and had to pay for both even though I didn't touch the first and tried to send it back. Food is good, but not worth being berated. read more

I found about la panera in a Blog the other day about the top 5 best cafes in Palermo. I tried the other places and I think La panera is by far the best. Loved the food and the coffee but also the atmosphere. read more

Went here for lunch. Had the Classico crepes which was tasty but not memorable. My friend had the ravioli which was meh though house made.
