Great food and service with excellent prices and portions. They serve fresh made salsa and chips and the shredded chicken quesadillas are amazing . I also ordered tacos with steak and crunchy shells and they were still hot and crunchy after picking up and bringing home from a good distance away. I love that they give cookie snacks for the kids and they love eating here every time we visit family that live local! Everyone's food was delicious each visit and the restaurant has great decor and seating and service we just prefer to eat at home because the kids are small!If you want great mexican eat here! read more

Very lively place with great energy. Service was helpful and friendly. The food. Being from San Antonio we have big expectations when it comes to Mexican food. This place was great, definitely a local favorite. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait but it went quick! The restaurant is bright and decorated well. Tons of seating, a huge bar area with seating and also seating outside on the patio. Once sat a server came and took our drink order and chips & salsa were brought to the table. The La Parrilla dip was phenomenal- steak, shrimp & chicken in a cheese sauce- definitely a must try. Husband got the brisk flautas and said they were great. Son ordered the kids chicken fingers and fries and daughter got the mini cheese quesadilla served with fries and fruit. Both said the food was good. I got the 2 Con Maduro tacos- grilled skirt steak with diced plantains, radish, cilantro and chipotle mayo, served with rice and beans. Absolutely delicious! Great staff, very friendly and very accommodating. Good atmosphere, typical Mexican atmosphere. Some food is better than other Mexican restaurants. I have the huevos rancheros,which are among the best in the area. The prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly. Food is extremely bland and greasy. The carne asada was ok but not great. Carnitas was tough and flavorless. Corn tortillas were awful and crunchy. Salsa was like tomato sauce with onion powder. Was a little concerned based on some of the photo reviews and what people said because I originally only looked at the photo reviews. But we were visiting from out of town and LOVED the food! I got the Ranchero Burrito and it was soooo good. We really enjoyed the chips and salsa. We also got the cheese dip which was great. The ambiance was nice too. Ummm... I should just let the picture speak for itself. And that would be that I cleared an entire plate of beans rice shrimp guacamole and half a chips and dip with a margarita and I am ashamed to say that then I had the flan. I could not get enough of this place! This is my first time here I am traveling from out of state. The manager Brandon was super amazing and very helpful with picking out specific dishes. Honestly If this place were to go to a major metropolitan area it would shut down every other restaurant that's Mexican food within the first two days. Went for cinco de mayo, Had a DJ in the parking lot. Would have liked it more if he played more Latino instead of 90's or R&B, more suited to the event imo. The restaurant did have more traditional music but was very busy ( couldn't hear it anyways ) The food was very average. Not great not terrible. The skinny margaritas tasted very sweet...not my favorite. The waitress was very nice however and gave great service. All in all a little disappointed. read more

Having just recently moved to the panhandle area, my sister and I have been hunting for great places to eat. After eating here, we have definitely found our favorite Mexican restaurant. My sister ordered a salad that had chicken in it, I had a chimichanga with brisket in it, and my nephew ordered a quesadilla that was absolutely huge, containing beef, chicken and shrimp. The food arrived much faster than I expected, and the portions were generous, and we all ended up having to get to go boxes because it was more than we could eat. The service was excellent also. Our server, Jimena, was wonderful and extremely helpful with our questions about the menu, and check back with us often to make sure everything was good. We will definitely be back. read more

One of my absolute favorite Mexican restaurants. Everything is fresh and served with a smile. Waiters are friendly and always seated quickly. If you go at lunch the service is fast as well. My husband and I have been here tons of times. It's been great up until yesterday. My Mexi-pizza was cold and absolutely slathered in cheese that was not melted at all. It was a wet pile. His food was great as usual. Our server was not the best. We've never had a bad server before but this was drastically different than our usual experience. The food was average Mexican. My issue was the server and the manager. I ordered a 3-item combo. 2 Chili Rellenos and a hard taco. When the bill came, I was charged for the 3-item combo and an extra $10.00 for ordering 2 Chilli Rellenos??? No time when I ordered they told me that was extra for some reason. The waitress did not understand me when I protested due to limited English, she sent the manager over and he told me it was extra without any apologies that that's the way it is. I asked him to show me this on the menu and he could not because it's not there. They lost some customers that night. read more
