What I thought was the front entrance near the main road was locked . You have to go around to the back to enter! The signage is misleading on locked door also as it says "we moving", not, we moved (to here? Xxx). However the visit with Dr Caton went well and didn't do anything he didn't need to. Absolutely do not recommend!!! They freely cancel your appointment without notice, but will say they called and left a message. There's no message, nothing! Then they will treat you like your the problem. They are very unprofessional, they have several ppl looking to sue them as well as a previous employee. They are problematic on every level. I absolutely do not recommend! Even though they are conveniently close to quartzsite. It's far better in Parker or anywhere other than la Paz medical. I don't condone the one in Parker either. The hospital side is just as much a joke. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

I have tried for 2 day to get an appt for a chest X-ray. No answers, you get a machine, of course no one calls you back. I must admit tho, the lab part was great, right in and right out. It's a walk in clinic, and the gap at the front desk is very nice. read more

I went by there on Monday, Dec 16, 2022 around 4 pm. They close at 4:30. I was having trouble with lots of chest congestion, coughing, wheezing. No one was in the waiting room. I asked if I could see William, FNP, that I have seen many times as I have been a patient there for over 2 years. I was told by the person behind the glass that they didn't have time to see me. I ended driving to Parker ER. Got a chest x-ray and put on meds. Upper chest respiratory infection. I am looking for another doctor up in the Parker area now. No way am I going back there. read more

Yelp listed La Paz Medical services as an Urgent care location . Even though they had one star I needed some urgent care so I thought I would do it. You have to go to Parker for urgent care it's not here in Quartzsite. read more

Basic first aid station and thats a complement. Better off to drive to lake havasu to er or urgent care across from hospital.

My recommendation: If an emergency, call 911 Otherwise, do yourself a healthy thing and drive up to Lake Havasu to get treated. I have been to this facility and won't be back!!! read more

I was disappointed with the customer service. I walked in and went to the registration desk. The receptionist was having a discussion with another employee. No one acknowledged my presence for 5 minutes. I just stood there waiting for some acknowledgement. The conversation between the two employees ceased. A man came out from the back and was immediately acknowledged by the receptionist. After she was done with that client, she asked me who I was. The medical assistant who checked me into the clinic was excellent; she was very professional yet friendly. When the NP came in your could hardly hear him introduce himself. He did not wash his hands before or after the exam. He did put on disposable gloves. I got the prescription I wanted as I knew I had shingles and needed an anti-viral. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of customer service skills. My medical care was OK. And I did get instructions to return to the Clinic in two weeks if I was not better. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife. Our main complaint has to do with a disorganized front desk. My wife was seen and the doc ordered blood work. She stopped at checkout after the visit and went for the blood draw the next day as the doctor told her to do only to discover that the front desk had failed to give her to necessary orders for blood work. When my wife returned for paperwork she was treated rudely. A day after the visit my wife called to see if doc would call in a script for pain. She talked to someone at the front desk who told her a pain med had been approved and would be called in to pharmacy. When pharmacy didn't get the script my wife called the clinic back and there was nothing in her records to indicate that a script had been called in. She never did get the orders. The front desk was consistently rude. One working was talking on a personal phone making meal plans for Thanksgiving while my wife waited for service. The biggest problem I see is the office's failure to do very basic notes in patient medical records. I would expect that when anything is done, such as a script request and call in, that the patient's chart would indicate this event. That obviously doesn't happen. We are elderly people and we've both been to a good many doctor offices in our lives. None have been this disorganized. We will be seen in Blythe from now on. Note that this occurred in early November and not during the peak of the Quartzsite season. read more

My wife and I visited here last week. The nurse practitioner never never walked around the bed to look closer at our concerns, neither did the doctor. We asked for tests to be done and for them to look at it closer or do a biopsy or something. They refused. My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and we were concerned about her having shingles on her forehead and eyelid. Neither the doctor nor the nurse closely examined her and both refused to listen to our concerns about it being shingles. They both said it was 100% not shingles. She visited an ophthalmologist 5 days later who diagnosed her with shingles. (This Urgent Care Center is lucky it didn't do any severe damage since they didn't do any examination of my wife and misdiagnosed her) If avoid this place like the plague unless it is a life threatening issue. read more

It is my intention to find another facility for my primary care now. Although I had a pretty good experience with the Dr. the first time. The second time I went, I got a nurse practitioner that was not so good. The facility is nice and clean. The front desk folks are friendly enough. The discount for cash is awesome. The first time I went the Dr. listened to me and although he did not review my file, which was about a half inch thick because I had my former Dr fax everything here about my condition, He did look at the test result that I had done and offered to write my RX for the maintenance pill I must take. The second one, the nurse practitioner did not even examine my foot. I had stumbled out my door and 5 days later could barely walk. He assumed I had just a sprain and he was probably correct, but he didn't examine my foot. He did not examine my medical file. He completely ignored everything I said except the symptoms. Including the fact that I told him I was already on Ibuprofen and needed a stronger medication. He did notice a rash on my leg and gave an RX for that. I don't think these are bad people and if you need help try to get in. It is cheaper than the Urgent care down the road. But, if you want real help from someone that really cares, well, let me know where you find it. read more
