It isn't the best part of town. I've never felt in danger though. The sand is incredibly soft, carameled colored. The water is a clear mint color. It's right next to a lighthouse that has a beautiful view of the coast line. I heard an American say, "I love it here, I want to move here! " It made us giggle. It was amazing to see how there's no more parking lot. Hurricane Maria blew so much sand in that all the sand completely covered the parking lot.

No stores or any kind of place to buy anything. There is a guy renting chairs and umbrellas but they are limited, there is not shade close to the beach but you can safe swin. The beach next to it is for surfers and it is not safe to swin plus not liveguard at all. The shorter way to walk there is a little dangerus, a lot of roks can end on a bad fall. i find out from one of the locals that if you want to skip the rocks you can walk using an entrance that is on the side of the road and you will end up on the surfers beach and just walk to la poza. i will add a picture where this entrance is locaded.

Yes you heard that right. 2. There was garbage everywhere! Thats bad part on the visitors but also on their maintenance. Such a beautiful beach to be covered in as much garbage as i seen. 3. Lots of rocks in the water. Like it's almost impossible to be inside without water shoes!! Overall I had a good experience. Didn't use the restroom at all. Was not going to waste $5 each. There were like 10 of us, yeah, no. Everyone waited til we got to walmart across the street.

They are some homemade signs and if you ask around people will help you. Golondrinas is a small beach with a cove that is somewhat protected. There can be waves or currents at this beach, most likely in the winter. But hey ! In Puerto Rico is summer all year ! The beach is nice, sand is soft, there are trees for shade, and the cave makes a nice barrier from the rough ocean. It's a nice place to spend some time. Bonus!!! They are other paths out from this beach or near this one. These paths lead around the Nature Reserve, to other beaches and even the river. It's a neat place to explore. One of my favorites spot on the island !

We would have stayed to see the sunset but the beach closes at 6 so we had to leave. When you arrive the sign says Punta Manatí not Esperanza. They are the same thing so don't worry about being at the wrong place.

It feels like you are in a pool. You can climb the rocks and get look of the ocean smashing into the rocks. You also get a great view of the beach. It's an easy climb. You don't even need shoes. My 3 year old climbed it. It makes for great pictures. You can even jump into the water (on the pool side, not the ocean side) from certain parts of the rock.

I stayed on a rental (Airbnb) right across this beach. Like literally 10 steps from the property. Doesn't get crowded and few locals visit this beach. Nice, non-threatening waves and very clean. A great place to search for seashells, relax at the beach or even go for a jog. If you are looking for an isolated beach in Rincón, this place is great. Also, it's about 5 minutes away (on car) from 3 of the most popular restaurants in Rincón... Very convenient location. Finally, even though the parking is limited (to a few spots on the street), since mostly residents from the are visit this beach, most likely than not, you can find a spot for your car.
