Started with drinks, the limoncello spritz is amazing & an old fashioned. Followed by the house wines for dinner, which on Vivino all rated extremely well. The food was screaming goodness, just scrumptious all around. Started with the Caesar salad, the chef's pasta special & ending with the steak done in a pepper cream sauce. Each dish was split, absolutely delicious all around. Oh & don't forget the tiramisu for dessert, followed by a cappuccino & finally limoncello. Our hotel helped to book us a reservation here for dinner on a Monday night, and the restaurant was honestly quite busy for a weekday evening! Definitely would recommend making a reservation if you can to avoid potential waits. I started with the pasta chef style (with bacon, tomato sauce, cream, and parmesan cheese) and my fiance had the steamed rice with sautéed fish fillets. Both first courses were great, and I loved the creamy tomato sauce with my pasta! Then, we shared the veal chop milanese which came with a side of green beans -- this was really good! We were on a Tauck tour of Lake Como and our tour director, Rudy, brought us to this restaurant for lunch today. It is in a beautiful location along the water in Bellagio. The ambiance was casual but nice. Our lunch included any three items. There were appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, fish and other entrees. I opted for the caprese and it was delicious. I also chose the chef's pasta. It included penne pasta made in house with a red sauce combined with cream, cheese and bacon. It was really tasty and cooked perfectly. For dessert I had chocolate Gelato and loved it. My husband had the sautéed spinach along with spinach and cheese ravioli in butter and sage. The dish was very good. The service was incredible, and the staff was very attentive and efficient. The food came out quickly, and there was no wait. The first time we came, we traveled a on a whim while it was raining, and they had lots of space. We came the very next night after making a reservation and it was packed. I definitely recommend making a reservation. I cannot express how amazing the food was, and how kind the staff was. Our boat charter recommend this spot and helped us make a reservation. I don't think there was a really a way to make a reservation online but overall thought it was a nice meal. It's right on the coast so there's a view of the Lake and mini-harbor. It's not in the popular area of town but if you're chartering a boat this is typically where they drop you. It's maybe 5-7mins walk from the heart of town. The fish was nice and their pasta was flavorful. Service was great and quick. La Punta is located at the tip of Bellagio in Lake Como. It's a beautiful waterfront restaurant, and you can tell it's popular amongst tourists as soon as you get there. With that said, I saw a difference in the food and prices compared to other less touristy places. The food: Antipasto di lago - a variety of fresh-water fish served cold. Some were pickled, some grilled. It was tasty, but nothing spectacular. Mixed green salad - something refreshing to accompany the main courses. Rice with souted fish fillets in butter & sage - I had high hopes for this but the dish was very bland. I've had other similar dishes at other restaurants that were far better. Fish wasn't very crisp, and rice had no flavor. Grilled "Agoni" served whole - felt similar to the grilled agoni in the antipasto but served warm instead. Not my favorite. You're definitely paying a premium for the view, which is beautiful, but as for the food, not the best I've had in Bellagio. read more

We stopped here on a recommendation from our hotel. It was definitely a great recommendation. Location was amazing. Lake front and I had an unobstructed view. The food was amazing. We started with wine and caprese salad. We the proceeded to have our main course which for me fish of the day and my husband pasta of the day. My fish was trout and quite delicious. My husband loved his pasta which was had a sauce with bacon, cream and tomatoes. We finished the night with a warm chocolate cake and ice cream which was excellent. Very nice dinner with exceptional views. Located on the top of the Bellagio peninsula, it's a short walk from the main area so it's quiet and romantic. It was a chilly night and the patio had glass panels protecting everyone from the chill. Not sure if those can be removed for a warm night. Even so, the view was beautiful. We started with ravioli and it was delicious. We split the portion so it was a good amount to start. My entree was the grilled fish of the day which was a trout. It was very good and tasted fresh. Husband had the beef. He said it was good as well. For whatever reason, we decided to get a plate of fries as a side and they were really good. We had this odd thing happen where the waiter dropped a bottle of wine that broke beneath our table. It was an accident and amazingly enough, it did not get on my shoes or pants but it would have been nice to have them comp the glass of wine or something. Food wasn't great at all. We got trapped in a rain and didn't had any choice. My husband took Filets de perche and I took Grilled fish. Both came with so little portions, no sauce, fish was very dry and bland. Deep fried fishes were bitter. I know in Italy they don't have much sauces but fish wasn't seasoned and 1 lemon will not fix it. We still were hungry and we took a cheese board because rest would be same bland. Cheese actually was the only good thing. That tiny little salad was so bitter. Best view in Bellagio with a table outside, overlooking the lake. Picturesque, serene and gorgeous. Tried the local fare and was so taken by the food that I forgot to take pics after the starters. Sorry! Highly recommend ordering local here and anywhere in Italy for highlights of the best the region has to offer. Here it is lake fish. My husband and I were looking for somewhere nice off of the main drag to have dinner. We learned about La Punta and decided to check it out. The restaurant ( as the name implies) is located just along a point. We were there at night so couldn't see much of a view, but enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the moon view. We sat inside as the weather was chilly. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. We were readily and politely greeted. We had several questions about the wine and chose a bottle from the region we were in. We chose the Caprese salad appetizer. I chose the spinach ravioli with sage and butter sauce. The flavor was delicious. My husband enjoyed the chef style pasta which was some sort of bacon sauce. Finally, we ended with a local cheese selection. The whole experience was very nice. If you go, I recommend you enjoy a stroll along the pier behind the restaurant after diner. It is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely little gem in Bellagio! We stopped in twice for food and wine while visiting Lake Como. Now keep in mind on Como, food can be challenging. Either very expensive or subpar. Sometimes restaurants are far apart. This happened to be one we walked right by and we're glad we stopped both times. Their wine selection is great. I'm a white drinker for the most part but have to be careful... I HATE SWEET WINE and don't want something super dry. Their staff was quite accommodating to make sure I tasted 2-3 before making a selection. If in Italy, you gotta love you wine, amirite? The food was fantastic. They do have some lovely pasta, absolutely cannot complain in that department. Staff was accommodating and friendly. We appreciated the English on the Italian menu. The views at this restaurant are phenomenal. Truly. When you look at the pictures on Yelp and wonder, "is that real?"... yes, yes it is very real. The lake breeze blowing through as you enjoy a lovely lunch on the patio... it is heavenly and one will always wonder what they did to deserve to be there in that moment. The service was fantastic too, the waiters were so nice and attentive and were helpful with food recommendations too! The "chef-style" pasta was the best decision, I have never tasted anything so delicious! My boyfriend got the lasagna and says it was the best lasagna he's ever had, and he lived in Rome. Unfortunately, I must advise to avoid this restaurant at all costs. Ate there today at lunch. When the bill came, they encouraged us to pay in cash for a 10% discount. We did so and gave the waiter €880 (telling him the amount) which included a very generous tip. He did not count the cash at the table. Five minutes later he came back to the table and told us that somehow we must have miscounted because we had only given him €610. Three of us had counted the cash before handing it over; there is no chance that we were mistaken about the amount given. Looking at other reviews, it seems that this is a modus operandi for this restaurant. This was naked fraud. Although we told him expressly that he was incorrect, we had better things to do than stick around for a dispute, so paid the duplicate money (less tip, which we took back) and left. There is no conclusion we can reach other than this is organized fraud. Wish I could say otherwise. But, be warned and avoid. read more

We went to lunch here today at the suggestion of our tour operator. It's a little bit of a walk from the port but that's not too much trouble. When we arrived, we ordered the fresh fish and my daughter got pasta. For €16 my fish was probably about 2 ounces if not less of meat. The menu says that all meat dishes come with a side of vegetables and I ordered spinach. When our food was dropped off, no one came back even once to check to see how the meal was. No one came over to bring cracked pepper to our table and we saw brought up two other tables. I kept trying to flag a server to bring over our check but no one would stop. While one was walking by I said "can you please bring the bill? " and he clearly heard me and just kept walking. When I finally got the check, the man came over with the credit card machine and said that their credit card machine wasn't working and hadn't been working for a few days. He said that a technician should be out in a day or two to fix it. Um shouldn't that be something that you advise your patrons of BEFORE they sit down to eat at your restaurant? I only had credit cards in hand and his attitude was clearly that this wasn't his problem and I should've brought cash. Horribly subpar service to finish a horrible meal. Thankfully I had Apple Pay and was able to pay but I'm not quite sure what I would've been able to do in the situation as I didn't have cash on me for the bill. Also they charge me 6 eurosfor spinach which should've been included with my meal and a three dollar per person cover charge which was not disclosed when we sat down I would never recommend this restaurant. We rode one of the many lake boats to Bellagio from Torno. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed our ride. We got in about noon so we walked around for a while and looked for a place to eat near the water. This place was almost full but they had a table available for about an hour before that reservation so we took it. The waiters helpful and it was a good afternoon meal. We all had different item but they were all good. I enjoyed the location because I geocache so I was happy to see that one was located nearby. Good Meal and a nice location! read more
