I went back to the room and checked the mattress and found that they had a bedbug cover on the mattress that clearly was compromised in some way. We spoke with the front desk and manager, Harry. They were apologetic at the time and assured us we would receive a refund. We booked through priceline and were told to request the refund through them and that they would approve it. We requested the refund through priceline, who have tried multiple times to reach out to the manager, Harry for approval. He has not responded or honored our refund. We are requesting a refund of our night's stay, and warning other guests, DO NOT stay at this location. They have an infestation issue and are clearly unwilling to address it with their victims/guests.

Well, all 3 of those sites had dirty rooms, dirty linens, or other issues with cleanliness. 2 of them had bedbugs in my room which caused me to have to change rooms. That's why my experience was 0 (good hotel) for 3 (bad hotel). What about the Days Inn by Wyndham Paris? Well, my 5 star rating should give you some clue. The staff could not have been friendlier, but most importantly, the hotel is clean and well-maintained. I had an end room on the first floor and along with it being a nice and spacious room, it was clean and modern. There is a sizable parking lot and I was able to park my rental car in front of my room for convenience. On the side, there are large parking spaces that are big enough to park big rigs and trucks with trailers. There is a gas station next door and also a Subway on the other side of the parking lot which is within convenient walking distance of my hotel room. I had no issues with this hotel like I described earlier. If my previous experiences were as good as this location, then I wouldn't have had such a bitter taste in my mouth when it comes to a Days Inn. I almost feel like they should call this a "Days Inn Premiere" or something like that. It was that good. My weeklong experience here was such a pleasant one and it just goes to show what happens when management and ownership actually care about hotel guests as people and not as a source of revenue. Way to go Days Inn team! I would absolutely recommend this location if you need to stay in a hotel in Paris, TX. It is modern, clean, and a nice hotel with awesome staff. You won't be disappointed. The blinds and shades were first-class. THIS HOTEL IS HEAD-AND-SHOULDERS ABOVE ANYTHING ELSE IN PARIS, TEXAS!!! Anyway, as for the breakfast, yes, it was free, but it was also not warm. It looked great, but was obviously made way ahead of time and care was not taken to keep it hot. The oatmeal was also undercooked. Obviously, photos and videos were taken at this time. But no staff ever came to check on the rooms to see for themselves. Didn't even ask to see the photos or videos. This hotel offered absolutely NO compensation and made it seem as if we were somehow the problem. Next couple of days go by and someone reaches out by email asking for "photo evidence" as "they did a thorough search and found nothing". After sending our "proof" WITH TIMESTAMPS they still made no offer to make it right. It wasn't until I asked about compensation, that they decided to not charge us for the night we checked out at 11:30pm! I would hope I wouldn't get charged for a night I didn't stay, but what about the other TWO nights where bugs could have been making their way into our belongings, just to be carried into our own home.
