It was only five minutes from our house so we took off. I judge a place almost immediately on their chips and salsa. They passed the test with delicious homemade tortilla chips and salsa that wasn't too spicy. We decided to try some of our normal dishes that we would order at any Mexican food restaurant like the combo plate with enchiladas and a crispy taco as well as their fajita plate. They make their tortillas in house and they were delicious as we were both of the dishes we ordered. The service was amazing - attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant itself is clean and had a lot of space. at first I thought it was just the front room, but there's a big room to the back right past the register. We will be back next to try out their breakfast, which looked delicious!

Of all the Mexican restaurant in town, this one rates in the middle for us. There's a couple others we would much rather go to. Don't let this review keep you from dropping in for a meal. I could not finish my food as I thought the small menudo would be like a small cup not a whole bowl. I had also filled up on chips and salsa and our waitress refilled it so I had even more. We almost left, but since we were already there and didn't want to go somewhere else, we decided to stay and give it a chance. Unfortunately, after seeing that, it was hard to enjoy the food and the overall experience just wasn't good. Another thing that stood out is how dark and dim the restaurant is inside.
