I have been here a few times. They are a couple of menu items that are particularly tasty. The La Sicilia special sandwich is awesome as is the Chesapeake pasta dish that has crab in it. My husband and I had their pizza and didn't care for it. Most of the items are really over priced for a pizza shop. And as another reviewer stated, there is no waitstaff so you order at the counter and pick it up yourself. The pasta dishes with seafood I can see being a little higher but still some are over priced. The sandwiches are definitely too high. read more

This place is great, the owner really does almost everything well. The food is quick and delicious. Whether you eat in, take out, or have your food delivered, you will not be disappointed. For my tastes, best pizza in Oxford. They CRUSH Pizza Hut and Andre's is a close 2nd especially in a simple straight up cheese pizza battle. (Andre's beats them in prices though). Pat's is good too, but these guys squeak by Pat's in an 'everything' pizza comparison. I admit I haven't tried the entrees, but for me, pizza and appetizers are what I buy at a pizza joint and they know how to do 'em right. The apps are much better than average; excellent cheese fries and ample, delicious onion rings. From what hear from others ordering with me, the entrees are sufficient, but not home runs. The service has always been friendly and compliments the clean eat-in area. The only detraction for me is the prices. I can see by the well maintained kitchen and cleanliness that those profits aren't for greedy reasons but it can get pricey quick ordering for a big group of eaters. read more

By far the best pizza and Italian food in the area. Friendly staff, quick for pick-up orders and the owners are the best. Don't think you can find better pizza without going all the way to Philly. The La Sicilia hoagie is awesome, cheesesteaks fries & whatnot are as good as it gets and the Italian entrees can't be beat. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and salad on Monday night at 7pm. When we called to check on the delivery at 8pm we were told the driver left along time ago. A few minutes later she arrived (mind you we live in the borough) The pizza arrived cold and without pineapple the key ingredient to a Hawaiian pizza. We then called and asked to speak with the manager and explained the situation...was put on hold for a few mins only to be told we would be comped the $1.55 for the pineapple. Thank you for disappointing our kiddos dinner ....we will take our business elsewhere. read more

The calamari is an embarrassment I can't believe they charge that much for it and can look at you with a straight face. If you want to save money just put ketchup on some rubber bands and you'll replicate it. This review is solely for the calamari, I will update when I try the other food. read more

Horrible service ! Ordered a sandwich for delivery. An 8.50 sandwich turned into a $14 sandwich because they didn't tell me about the $5 delivery charge. Delivery took an hour. Roasted pork gross. Thick slices and salty and hardly any sharp provolone. So disappointed. Not worth $14 for sure. Called and spoke to female owner who really didn't care or offer to make up for their employee not informing me of the extra charge. Would not patronize this restaurant. read more

What a great pizzeria! We just love everything we've ever ordered here, and we've been going there for years. We average two visits per week...one lunch and one dinner most weeks, but sometimes more. The pizza is amazing and we always ask for a crispy crust and get it. Fall and winter soups...hearty, homemade and delicious. The chicken and dumplings get the highest marks from this old Southerner, but they're all awesome. We've had about every pasta dish on the menu and each seems tastier than the last one we tried. The salads are crispy fresh with THE BEST CRUSTY ROLLS AND BUTTER. Those little rolls are worth the trip in! The roast beef sandwiches...real, juicy, tender and I'd put them up against the best pit beef around. They only hire the happiest, friendly young folks at La Sicilia, and their smiles, laughter, and friendly helpfulness make it one happy place to relax and eat great food at great prices! I moved to Oxford 2 years ago and live fairly close to La Sicilia. We came from New Jersey where there were 5 Pizza joints in every town and all of them were pretty decent. We really like La Sicilia, if you want a Slice thats comparable to what you would find in NJ or NY then this is the best you'll get in town, If your a fan of the Pat's and the Pizza Huts... well... stick with your pats or pizza hut, but if you want something good and fresh, get a pizza here. The entrees are a little pricey but you get alot of food with it, I'm pretty much just speaking strictly for the Pizza there. Better than bravo pizza in my opinion and pats... well I ate it once and will never touch it again. read more

My daughters and I stopped in for dinner on a Monday,the woman who took our order was very nice so we ordered.I ordered the lasanga and two orders of boneless wings for the girls.The wings were not like regular boneless wings and the sauces were just plain bad.The lasanga was nothing but sauce and cheese there were only two pasta noodles with some meat in between.The salad had a little piece of tomatoe and one nasty piece of cucumber.We did not eat much of it.When I got up to pay for our order they asked me how it was and I told them very nicely how bad it was and my girls agreed,so they did not charge us.They were very sorry.Very nice people but I would not go back again. read more
