Passion, research, high-quality ingredients and century-old family techniques and traditions come together to create a rich and dazzling gelato, made fresh every day based on the products that are available at local farmer and food markets. From Antonio's original recipes, such as "Catrame" (made with 70% chocolate), salted caramel and lemon and sage, to fruit and vegetable flavours, or even the great classics, such as cream, hazelnut, yogurt and pistachio.

Antonio Ciabattoni and his wife Elisa opened La Sorbettiera in 2008 to maintain their family's centuries-old tradition of gelato-making. Antonio has been making gelato since he was a teenager and now he keeps his passion going by offering his clients timeless and delicious flavours.
