Despite following the proper channels, there have been repeated delays in getting responses, approvals, and assistance when dealing with time-sensitive medical concerns. What's most concerning is how difficult it has been to get clear answers or timely support when it actually matters. As a patient, you rely on your insurance provider to help facilitate care--not create additional barriers. These delays have caused unnecessary stress and have impacted my ability to receive timely medical attention. When you're already dealing with health issues, the last thing you should have to do is constantly follow up just to get basic information or movement on your case. I strongly encourage Health Net to improve its communication processes, responsiveness, and overall care coordination. Patients deserve a system that works with them--not against them. I will be forwarding a formal complaint to the CA Department of Managed Health Care, BBB, Centers For Medicaid and Medicare services, US Department of Health and Human Rights, and any other regulatory agencies.
