Stumbled upon this cute little place at the mall and decided to try out their pupusas. I ordered one beef and 2 chicken. The guy who helped us was very nice and friendly. The pupusas were fresh and hot. It was yummy! The sauce and cortido truly enhanced the pupusas to a whole new level. Honestly 3 pupusas plus a drink for $11.99 is such a great deal! Great customer service, located inside a shopping mall court. Tons of different items to choose from Mexican cuisine to a Boba Menu. Ordered a Blueberry mixed with coconut and added extra boba. The flavor was great not to sweet and very enjoyable. Make sure you bring cash because every food vendor charges a fee to use your credit or debit card. The menu and all the signs posted around the shop is over whelming. The menu tells you everything that is in the dish so there is a lot of words to cover and if you have eyesight issues like myself stand back out of the way and take a photo of the menu to zoom in. It is located in boulevard malls food court with a few options, I would consider this to be the better of the options there. Get the birria tacos here! It is soo cheesy with the tender shredded beef. Get it with the onions and cilantro on it. I know it says authentic but they should think of selling some saimin on the side. To use up the remaining consumee. Delicious. Came here to checkout the comic book store in the mall. Then all of a sudden, it's lunch time. Where did the time go? Didn't expect much from the food court in the mall. When I ordered the wet burrito, I was pleasantly surprised how amazing it was. Sooooooo good. It could've been the fresh, moist carnitas or the tangy, tasty red sauce. The food here was amazing! I ordered food for a group of people, and everything we got was just fantastic. Not one person had a bad thing to say about anything. They even have some options you don't see often at other taqueria places. The only thing I was not a fan of was the service in front. The young lady taking orders was distracted by her cell phone. She also was very lackluster in her interactions, and wouldn't let us use our Yelp checkin offer because she said they don't accept it. We got 3 revueltas pupusas and they were so good. The combination was great with the sauce and the fact that this was in a mall... wow. Fresh food and quality?? Wow. La Taqueria is located in the food court of the Boulevard Mall. It may never rate a Michelin star, but it far surpassed what I would have expected from food court fair. Most fast food Mexican restaurant give you a choice of hard or soft taco shells. If it's a slightly better place they might even give you the option of flour or corn tortillas. La Taqueria takes things just one step farther, offering you the option to eat your tacos on lettuce shells. This is fantastic news for those who've chosen to go gluten free. For me, it was just a very healthy and very tasty option that elevated my simple order of tacos with carnitas into something a little more special. I ordered a plate of 3 lettuce tacos, each of which came on a very large leaf of what appeared to be romaine lettuce. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, and was showing no signs of having been out of the cooler before my tacos were made. I headed over to the salsa bar which had three different kinds of salsa and a variety of other veggies. There was a mild red, medium red, and a green salsa. There were chopped onions, chopped cilantro, sliced limes, whole radished, pickled jalapeno slices, and some kind of pickled onion or radish to choose from. I loaded up my tacos with fresh condiments and headed for the tables to try them out. Mmmmm.... Cool Crispy crunchy lettuce, warm tender moist carnitas, spicy salsa, juicy pico de gallo... These were damn good tacos for a food court. I must admit the atmosphere is standard food court with a sterile feel and completely lacking in any character, but the food makes up for it in spades. It was a fresh and tasty lunch that felt pretty healthy compared to some of the other stuff we ate in Vegas and I left feeling pretty satisfied. read more

I'm beyond annoyed with this place. Since the guy that ran this place isn't there anymore or maybe not everyday like he use to I've had the worst meals with chicken. The chicken is cold like it came out of a refrigerator. Not warmed at all. All 3 times had taquitos meal and chicken empanadas all cold and now that I called there number goes straight to VM. I had to search high and low for this place, it was hard to find being from out of town. The directions took me to a parking lot, I finally figured out that it was in the mall. I was looking for a real restaurant, not a food court booth. I had been going to the La Taqueria that was in San Joas Ca for many years, it was one of the best in the area. When it closed I was very disappointed, I knew there is one in SF and that they had one in Vagas. So when I was in Vagas I wanted to find it and see if it was as good as San Jose was. The burrito and the wet sauce was a little bland for my taste but still good. (That's with having ordered mild and medium salsa) *TO THE BUSINESS: Please improve your packaging for your food! It arrived in a complete disaster and was spilling and dripping all over the place. The fries are so big that it is definitely a two person job! Everything is fresh and made to order!
