Yelp Review - Fatboy Fatboy has always been my go-to hole-in-the-wall, family-owned burger spot, which is why this review honestly hurts a little to write. Normally, their food is amazing. The burgers are out of this world, the pastrami is always on point, and their chiencho fries and regular fries are both incredible. My son ordered the pastrami today and, as usual, it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the wings were a completely different story. They were honestly awful. They tasted like stale chicken that had been reheated and drowned in sauce, and the wings were tiny. And the ranch was literally ranch water. I was really looking forward to them and ended up throwing them awayThe only thing I could actually eat for lunch were my fries. I'll definitely still come back for the burgers, pastrami, and fries because those are consistently great. But take it from me--skip the wings. My husband and I were out doing some errands snd wanted to grab a quick bite to eat, saw the reviews and knew we had to stop by. We got in about 11 and they already had a line. We were simple and opted for a burger, protein burger (wrapped in lettuce) and a small side of fries. The burgers were to die for. Not only were they huge they had a ton of delish toppings such as pickles, relish, tomato, and a chipotle mayo. The small fries were giant as well, big enough to share. Prices can't be beat. food takes awhile but it's all made in-house it seems. you can see the kitchen, prices could be better but fries are amazing. no complaints on those. i hate that i didnt know the veggie burger would be that mush texture a lot of restaurants used to do those style veggie burgers a decade ago, passing for the "it's definitely made of veggies" thing, but i guess i expected it to have more of a burger texture since it's a burger spot that's the only disappointment i guess i should have asked, i kind of want a burger spot to have an impossible brand burger texture without being an impossible burger. very friendly staff. read more

I was so excited to try all this food for Mother's Day and was left highly dissatisfied. $85 worth of food and the only thing that was good were the mozzarella sticks. The burgers were extremely salty as well as the dry pizza. The 4 piece chicken tenders were more like 3 1/2 ( see photo) the zucchini was ok on the inside but super salty from the outside. This is a small spot I recently went to and order the Angry Boyger and the Pastrami Boyger. Both were very good. The pastrami one was probably the best one out of the two. Also got the Chili Cheese Fries on the side. This place is a must try. Definitely will come back. Hope they do great business wise and open more locations. I've seen this place when I've been in this area and the reviews have been good. I decided to try it on my lunch and I was not disappointed! Went with the single cheeseburger combo. The girl who took my order asked if I wanted cheese and bacon and I of course said yeah why not!? I saw the brown bag and I knew it was going to be good! I ordered chicken nuggets and fry's for my daughter( they were basically Tyson dino nuggets that were over cooked) my son a boyger and a pastrami Boyger for me. Overall it was pretty good. Friendliest hole in the wall. I decided to try this restaurant today as it is right by my house across the Los Compadres Meat Market. The staff is friendly, welcoming each person that walked in, and maintained the cleanliness of the restaurant. The Hawaiian burger is sweet and savory. The fries are crispy and airy. I got the protein style burger and loved that I could taste the crispiness of the burger and the fresh vegetables. All in all this restaurant feels like you're at home. Give it a try! read more

A lot of reviews give this appearance of it being inner-city and rough around the edges but its anything but that. The location is the only thing inner-city about FatBoy. Soon as i walked in everyone greeted me and the service was quick and very friendly. They take your name and then call it when the order is ready. Took about 5 minutes. I ordered the double burger minus relish and it was very delicious. Tasted on par with In and Out minus the spongy bun and freshness of the toppings. This spot is good but was it the best burger? It was good and worth the trip, but nothing ground breaking. As a tip ordering online has higher prices by about $3/ item + a $1.50 convenience fee so order in person. read more
