Some of the best peruvian food I've ever had. Aji de gallina was perfect, made it for me even though it wasn't on the menu. The little corn snack was amazing I'm so glad they had it. I wish I would have had room to try their lomo and their soup. Everyone in there had a soup. I should have just gotten it all.

Beef soup... the type that cures your body & restores your soul... the beef was melt in ur mouth! I took a quart home for another day!

Welcomed by a lovely lady in Spanish. I speak Spanish as well but she could understand English. The menu explains dishes in English. The place is in a corner & cosy. The Latino music was on and it was hip n foot tapping good. The waitress or owner was attentive and served us like my own mom was serving us food. The food was prompt & we feel on love with the green sauce(mid spicy level) - we ate like we were in our own home. It was wonderful. I highly recommend this little establishments for down home Peruvian food and soul satisfying tastes. I'm not from Peru but i definitely will be back here for another taste of that country! Bring ur appetite!

I loved this place. Upon entering we asked for "la tia," and she came to our table to say hi. The nicest owner and chef. We ordered a tamal for the table. I also ordered the ceviche mixto. The portions are huge, which is great for the price point. My friend ordered a lomo salteado and it was so much that she took some to go for later. If you come in a group of 4+, I recommend getting a liter of Inca cola. It'll be the best bang for your buck. There are metered spots around the neighborhood. Great spot!

Place is clean, nice staff and good music. Specials of soup and stew de carne were delicious. The chef even got an award for soup! The portions are good size. You can get a few to share :) the fish nicely fried and not drowned is sauces. Overall a must try if you are near by.

I love love Peruvian food, think a mixture of native Inca/Spanish flavors with Asian fusion. And when I want Peruvian - ceviche, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina, Tacu Tacu all come rushing back to me from my post college summer tour of the beauty of Peruvian cuisine. And yes - they have empanadas too but they tend to sellout! They also have breakfast on the weekends like traditional tamales. This is located in a food hall called the Exchange with 6 other vendors.

Searched for local food while staying at Ballys. Couldn't have asked for a better pick by google. Food and service was awesome. Very homey feel.

I tried several of their dishes when I visited La Tia witching The Exchange. *Disclaimer* The Exchange has closed and La Tia has since moved. * Chicha Morada- a Peruvian staple. Chicha Morada is a purple drink. Most similar to a light and refreshing juice. *Sudado De Mariscos- honestly this dish reminded me of a paella in some ways. The dish offered a nice amount of flavor. Octopus is difficult to cook well. Although the octopus could have been a little more tender, I really enjoyed the dish! *Plantains-Peruvian version of a fried banana, you can't go wrong! *Marzamorra is a dessert. A purple fruit corn and fruit pudding. For the rice pudding lovers, this is your jam! You'll see that the dish is split into (for lake of a better description) a purple side and rice pudding side. Feel free to sample both individually and pair each bite of the two perfectly; either way, you'll enjoy it! I can't speak to the parking of their new establishment. I'll be sure to update my post if I visit their new location. Staff- The girl at the counter who assisted me was so so nice and patient!

Incredible flavors. This Peruvian hole in the wall has some of the most delicious food anywhere in Atlantic county. Incredible. Very friendly staff, clean, unique food, and very fresh.

And yes, there will be a next time. I ordered the 1/4 chicken platter that came with fries and a salad. The chicken leg was cooked perfectly. The seasonings were well balanced and delicious. Nice to find a place to get pollo à la brasa in the area. The fries were hand cut and perfectly cooked. The side salad was a nice size. I had enough fries and salad leftover for the next day. I tried some of the yucca huancain and it was good. The yucca seemed overcooked. The sauce was a little too thick. It may be because it was take out so the dish got cold. The flavors were on point but the texture not so much. The purple corn drink was so unique. I never had it before but highly recommend it!! I can't even explain it. Not super sweet and a hint of fruit. The sweet potato donuts lacked flavor but the dipping sauce helped. The flan was my favorite. It was thicker and creamier than I'm used to and really enjoyed it.

Not really spicy but good!! Next time I would get the steak with pesto linguine but not get ceviche and yucca fries!

I am sooo stuffed writing this!…read more We wanted to try Peruvian and I found this place on here! Housed in the Berlin Farmer's Market - I was shocked! I had a fried rice dish that was excellent! The kids had empanadas, potato balls and steak tacos. ALL YUMMY! We also had a Jaritos and Horchata. So tasty! Everything was cooked fresh, excellent and huge portions- like OMG so! $51 for everything! CASH ONLY!

***** I stop at the Berlin Famers Market regularly and today I discovered a Peruvian restaurant at the far end of the building, Rodriguez Peruvian Restaurant. A big, inviting and spotlessly clean counter with seats and menus. The menus have a lot of classic Peruvian dishes like ceviche, lomo saltado, salchipapa, anticuchos, arroz chaufa, wings, tacos, pernil...lots of delicious choices! I ordered the eloté, papa relleno, 3 beef and 3 chicken empanadas, the lomo saltado and the tallarin saltado as well as a horchata which was superb - and huge! The eloté, I could have easily eaten 6! Sooo yummy! The papa relleno was perfectly cooked and had a tasty beef and cheese filling. The empanadas were flavorful and both the lomo saltado and the tallarin saltado were delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and none of the fried items were greasy at all - wonderful! The portions are large, the prices very reasonable and the service was pleasant, fast and efficient. I will definitely be back and I recommend it highly to everyone to give it a try. As an added bonus, I was able to use my Spanish to order and she said I did good!
