Easy to book appointments online, with plenty of options for availability. For reference, I've only had waxing (eyebrows and upper lip) and threading (brows) done before, never sugaring and never anything on my legs. The studio is located in a little converted house in Clermont, directly across Grand Highway from the AtHome store. Plenty of parking spaces are available in the back. Khlaryssa was ready when I arrived, on time for my 9:30am appt. The studio was clean and comfortable. After I removed pants (and covered myself with a small towel), she dusted my legs with an organic powder and explained the process. The (also organic) sugar mixture looks almost like honey, but is less liquidy and more of a squishy spreadable solid (kind of like...silly putty?) which feels room temperature. It's NOT like waxing, which in constrast is hot and they put a clothlike strip over the wax to later pull the hair off. This sugar stuff is squished against your skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth, and then the sugar itself (no cloth) is yanked off in the same direction as the hair growth. The sugar doesn't stick to your skin as much as wax does. Individual hairs were tweezed afterward. My entire appointment lasted one hour. Was it painless? No, it hurt - they're pulling hair out of your body! And my leg hair was super long after being in pants throughout this colder Florida winter lol. BUT I would go back. I feel like it got easier to tolerate over the course of the session, and would likely get progressively easier over multiple sessions. I also can't compare how waxing would feel on my legs because I've only had it done on my face. I will say that, as a person with VERY sensitive skin, my legs weren't all red like my face is after waxing. Allegedly this is effective for a longer time, so I'll see how it goes and will likely return to this studio.

I have been seeing her now for a while. On this most recent visit I had scheduled a visit with another lady in Dr. Phillips as I really needed a facial...since I wasn't able to get in on the day I wanted with Mrs. T. But I made sure to schedule with Mrs. T for the following Monday when I knew she would be working. Her facials are just FABULOUS. When I say she is good with all skin types trust me. I was congested around the nose area a lot (mind you I had just had a facial the week before which was not as thorough). She went in and got rid of the guck and my pores were open and not congested as they were when I walked in. Mrs.T walks you through the products that she is using during your treatment; she explained the benefits of the product as well as making sure there was not too much tingling and I was comfortable. Her knowledge of skin care treatment is amazing. She does not come off pushy to try and sell you products as well. She will let you know what she recommends and tell you that you don't have to buy it if you do not want to. I hope she can be my esthetician for a lifetime. With the type of skin I have I need special attention to detail during each visit for maximum results. That not just anyone can provide. Give her a shot, trust me you will not regret it. Just don't over book her...because I still need her too!!

I've even been able to transfer some to my boyfriend for a $10 fee but you can only do that 3 times, apparently, so today will be his last but I think this year I might get him the same package for Christmas so we both are doing some self care. I've done 2 facials but wasn't really impressed. I've done a few massages as well & never was impressed or left there very happy till today. She was fantastic, she didnt try to upcharge me or make me feel uncomfortable at all she even used some peppermint oil I believe, which was amazing. So, of course I went ahead & shechduled her again for next month & got her schedule. See you next month D.

I'm not used to that in nail salons back home. Bao did a superb job with cleaning up the old mess and gave me beautiful acrylics with an ombré design. I mentioned that I had a membership, but I was still initially charged the higher rate. Additionally, there wasn't an offer to help schedule my next appointment, which I've typically experienced at other similar businesses. That said, the quality of the massage was great, so I'm willing to give this location another try. It was also a Saturday, so perhaps they were busier than usual. I'm hopeful the front desk experience will feel a bit smoother next time before I decide whether to switch locations.
