Oh no, one of our favourite restos...an excuse to go to the market (most days, but Saturday is best), have a nice meal and a bottle of something to wash it down with...all change
They had taken away the greenery and installed a few more tables outside. The staff was brand new it seemed - of our man who always recognised us, no sign. We had booked for a table under the umbrellas - it was hot
Only 3 other tables were in use - now we know why. We think that it has been taken over; the man who seemed to be in charge in the resto opposite kept coming over and helping out. The waitress (emphasis on "wait") left the place, only to reappear in a room above the resto opposite. 2 + 2?
The menu was as disappointing as the service - however, the food was good - wok'd chicken was our only real choice - a glass or Sartre for me and a white for my partner; coffees inc 1 gourmand, & 1 citron tart to follow. €81. Overpriced
If we return, which I doubt, we will look elsewhere...check out the other review here for this year (plus the non-review - we walked out) and the one for Le Gurp (superb)
Anyway the walk along the beach and back was great, 5k in all
