We also ordered the Spaghetti alla Moressa, a pasta dish served in a fresh tomato sauce made with red and yellow tomatoes. Both dishes were good and quickly disappeared from our plates. To finish the meal, we shared their lemon cake, which was the perfect ending to dinner. Overall, the food was very good, the service was fairly decent, and the views made for a memorable experience. The only advice I'd offer is that if you're considering one of the specials, be sure to ask the price beforehand if you're not comfortable spending €100 for a whole fish.

Located right in the heartbeat of Positano- a stone's throw from Chez Black. But the food at the hotel is so incredible, it's hard to eat elsewhere. Outstanding pasta, pizza, minestrone soup- and the most delicious gelato shop in town. Not as fancy as the other legendary nearby hotels (San Pietro & Sireneuse), but more casually elegant and perhaps more friendly and welcoming. At any rate, the vibe suits our California-based family perfectly, and we come back year after year to enjoy a week to two of La Dolce Vita. Unless you have easy…read moreto navigate (and lift) luggage, I suggest you opt for the €10 per bag during the day and €20 per bag in the evening and overnight. They're serious when they tell you that it's a distance from the roadway through the pedestrian pathways. Be sure to set the hotel in your GPS as the signage down drops off at times and you'll wind up having to ask for assistance. If it's during tourist season, you'll have massive amounts of people to navigate past. That said, once you arrive, you are greeting by a relaxing and welcoming setting. The rooms themselves are lovely - a mix of mid century classic Italian/Amalfi along with some modern touches. The rooms are lined with Italian tiles that are soft to the touch. I opted for a balcony with view and I'm really glad I did as I have a gorgeous view along with seaside smells throughout my stay. I often left my balcony doors open overnight for both the ocean sound & smell experience. The one negative is that it occasionally gets loud or smelly from the fuel of the continually loading and unloading of passenger ferrys which are literally steps away from the hotel. Be sure to spend time at the glorious pool as the staff are attentive and the comfort is extreme with absolutely stunning views on top of it all as the lounges face out towards the sea and mountains. The restaurants - both Savino and the breakfast area are staffed with helpful and friendly folks - especially the hosts themselves who want to ensure you have a great experience. My dinner was one of the best meals in Amafli and breakfast was plentiful and fresh each morning - again both featuring stunning views. The property was clean and well maintained and the front desk and concierge team were absolutely outstanding and willing to ensure you have a great experience in Italy. It was the best decision to stay in Positano as it totally cleared of tourists by ~5P which made for a truly magical setting throughout the seaside and adjacent hills.

Located in the Amalfi Coast across from the picturesque sea. This mostly outdoor upscale ristorante offered exceptional food and even more exquisite service. Giovanni and Roberto both took care to make sure our 2 dinners there were perfect. The first night we dined on pasta that was house made with sauce your Nona would be proud of. Fresh made bread baked in-house came out steaming hot and soft inside . Nocino after dinner digestive finished off the meal. That was perfect for us since it is near impossible to get Nocino in the states. Our return the next evening was filled with fireworks celebrating the Saint of Positano over the water as we ate ravioli with 3 sauces. Simply delicious. This was an upscale and slightly casual bitro across from the ocean. Service here was extroidinary and chefs kiss for our 2 dinners. Hot housemade bread was served with our meal with a slight crunch and soft inside. Perfection. Tables were set close together and we met other travelers who mentioned they often returned to eat here. We loved it so much we returned for a 2nd night in Postiano. Nochino at end of meal . We even had fireworks on last night outside resturant to finish a beautiful evening of great service.
