I was on a Bachelor party and came here under the recommendation of a restaurant owner where we had dinner. I have been clubbing for quite some time around the world and this night was an unforgettable night. I don't know what it was, the whole vibe was just fun. We had a table with multiple champagne bottles and grey goose, I would not do it any other way. The great thing about this place compared to clubs in Vegas and Miami is that there are no limits to how many people you can bring on one reservation. In this case we had 10 guys and entered with no issues or additional costs. I love La Voûte and I never at that about a club. Whoever manages or owns this venue deserves all the business in the world. Interesting venue considering it used to be a bank. I would come back 10 out 10 times. I had an epic night!

Pretty cool club! I love how it use to be an actual vault at a bank. We got there pretty early on a Friday night (around 1030) there was no line or cover charge. We walk into a empty club with maybe two other girls there. All the bartenders are nice and some local (seems like he knows all the bartenders) bought us a shot which was very nice of him! Around 1130 people started arriving for their tables and we noticed how everyone is mostly dressed up (guys and girls) and we feel slightly underdressed. The music is a mix of top 40s club music. A lot of house music for awhile which is fine but not for a club I think. Around midnight the place was packed at that point people started dancing more! Suddenly at one point they pushed us away from our dancing area and a bed rolled in! Then two very sexy dancers did a dance on this bed which we all loved. After the show the music pumped up and we all had a great time drinking and dancing the night away. Overall very cool club! Would def. Come here again (maybe alittle later) :)

This place is such an experience. If you're in Montreal, it's a must, not just for the club but the food and especially the sushi is amazing, beautiful and delicious at the same time, who can beat that! It's definitely a great time.

The fact that you're inside of a bank vault gives this experience an automatic star, but what happened inside of the vault gives this place the full 5/5. It was supposed to be a pre-dinner spot for just a cocktail or two. You know, just a little something to get the night going after a day of sightseeing. Fast forward four hours later, all initial plans were gone. Forgotten. I can only blame Val and Zach, the wonderful bartenders who made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, shaking up the most delicious cocktails and making the best menu recommendations for plate sharing (i.e. edamame, lamb chops, oysters, sushi roll with salmon tartare on top). Hands down the best lychee martinis were made by this dynamic duo. In fact, no drinks fell short this evening. My group was also celebrating two birthdays. Discretely, I asked Val if we could sing happy birthday to both, and shortly after there were two desserts with sparklers brought to the birthday girls. Amazing hospitality! If you're in town and looking for a place to get lost in, this is your spot. Tell Val and Zach, the four Miami girls in green sent you ;)

La Voute is a nightclub located in the former building of Bank of Montreal (the same building as Collective Crew & Café), so of course the place is gorgeous with its high ceilings and details of the safes. We were greeted by their team dressed as aircrew. In the lobby they had installed aircraft seats. We went to the women's restroom and there were several choices of sweets (I was not very comfortable with the idea of having food in restrooms for obvious reasons). In the club, everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves ... The club dancers were able to bring a festive atmosphere, the music was a mix of everything with a predominance for house music. As for the drinks, they are a bit expensive ... I usually have no problem with that, except that I usually try to find an added value justifying the price ... I have to admit that I haven't found any, except for the idyllic location.

Very cool night club, loved the fact it is in sub basement of a bank building. Specifically, you enter via vault doors of of the former bank. The service was pretty good, my buddy had a table and staff was awesome. Loved the dancers, they were amazing.

We started with two apps Chevre chaud poire pochee and Ris de veau croustillant. Chevre chaud is a little cheese pattie with warm cheese it was served on a little bit of salad. Ris de veau is 3 piece of fried calf. If you want to share your app I would go with the Chevre chaud. I thought the portion for Ris de veau was a little small. Right about now I noticed that everyone around us was getting some warm bread with butter. I looked at the menu to try and see if that was something we needed to order as an app. I did not see it on the menu so I assume it's just given as your app while you wait for your dinner. I got the beef tartar as my main dish. You have the option of picking between a garden salad or fries to go with it. I went with the fries. They are served with some mayo, just like I like it. The beef chart was delicious. Portion are good. This might also be an option if you want to share an app. It comes in two sizes, I got the bigger one. For dessert, I picked a crème brûlée with a cheese platter . Crème brûlée comes with a lovely crust , which I honestly enjoyed quite a lot. It is a very thin layer of crème brûlée with a thicker than usual sugar crust. The cheese platter came with three very small piece some bread and a jam. I would believe to be blueberries. I was disappointed by the cheese platter not because the cheese were bad ones but just because it was a three bite done deal. I would've liked a bigger portion to share. Overall, very positive experience.

The owner, hostess and wait staff were so friendly and gracious, and this feels like an authentic neighborhood restaurant, not a tourist trap. If you're staying in old-Montreal, you can't go wrong with an intimate dinner here, either inside or outside on their outdoor sidewalk patio. Order Breakdown Starters: Ceviche ($16): Marinated scallops with ginger, sesame, and seaweed. A light, acidic, bright start to open up the palate. (This dish was delicate and texturally well-balanced, with a simple yet beautiful presentation.) Polpetta di Nonna Maria ($18): Two of grandma's veal meatballs simmered in tomato sauce with Parmigiano. Rich, savory, and perfect for dipping any table bread. (Classic Italian comfort food. The marinara was perfectly seasoned and the appropriately sized meatballs were soft and flavorful. The bread was warm and soft with a delicious crust, the perfect vehicle for the extra sauce.) Mains: Orrecchietti con Salsiccia e Rapini ($30): Classic short pasta paired with savory Italian sausage, bitter rapini greens, garlic, olive oil, and parmesan. Very traditional, rustic, and full of flavor. (The pasta and sausage and butter greens were cooked perfectly, and the greens provided the acid to offset the richness of the olive oil and sausage. Dusted with fresh Parmesan, the savory profile was near perfect.) Insalata di Tonno ($32): Seared fresh tuna over a bed of spinach with their house sesame dressing. Keeps things fresh and balanced alongside the rich pasta. (This was the standout dish, with delicate tuna slices laid out across a bed of fresh baby spinach, garnished with sweet and tart cherry tomatoes, with a savory sesame sauce drizzled over the top. The sauce was notable since it didn't overwhelm the flavor of the perfectly seared tuna.) Paired with fresh peach Bellini aperitif for my wife. I don't drink, and she drinks sparingly, but she kept mentioning how delicious it was. The dinner was rounded off with a delicious tiramisu presented in a glass dessert cup. Definitely try this place if you want an unpretentious local establishment with a focus on quality.

We found it weird that if they took so long to make it, why was it cold inside? For pasta, I had the papardelle con ragu CAD$36. The pasta was al dente, very delicious. I recommend this dish! I also tried the ravioli con manzo CAD$34. This ravioli had braised beef inside. I honestly had low expectations because I don't usually care for ravioli.
