I went twice, first with my family and then by myself, to purchase a couch to replace my futon. The first time I came with family the sales reps were very non-intrusive and helped steer us towards the selection that best suited my needs and gave us pricing without being pushy. The second time I went I specifically asked for a couch to help with my lower back pain and we were able to find something and the sales reps helped me find one for a good price and financing and helped me customize it to my taste. My husband and I have been shopping for some new family room furniture. We made the rounds of several stores in the Treasure Valley over the past two weeks. We came back to LaZBoy for a second look. Both visits, we had delightfully friendly service from Leslie, just the perfect amount of focused attention and then letting us have our space to look and discuss our preferences with each other. We ultimately purchased three pieces. The whole experience was pleasant and I highly recommend this business, both for quality of product and for knowledgeable service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!! Spent buku bucks on a Reclining Sofa and Reclining Loveseat. in Dec. of 2019, received it in March of 2020 because I ordered a special fabric. It's now Feb. 2024 and the loveseat is falling apart. The reclining back on one side does not come back up and is loose. The footrest on the other side has padding that is now flat. I don't know where it went. Up? Down? Just gone! I heard a commercial on TV that says there is a lifetime warranty and that's why I thought, it would be great to buy this brand. Well, it's a lifetime warranty for the first year and after that you pay a service charge, which is $65, just because, and also get charged labor. Parts, if not mechanical are covered. What the hell is a lifetime guarantee about that? My last reclining loveseat, that I had for years I gave away to buy this one, but it never broke and I didn't pay near the price I paid for this. POS. I am the only one that sits on it. Talked to the manager, who I purchased it from and told him nowhere on my information they gave me. does it say anything about warranty. He said it was on a small tag on the furniture when I got it. Well, I save everything, and I don't think there were any tags on it but maybe they could have mentioned that at the time of purchase. Anyway, point is, Shabby built furniture and rotten customer service. Service manager John just said, Sorry! They don't care, just another sales person. La-Z-Boy is a great product (I have some 12 yr old pieces that are still in great shape)- and while I haven't received my order yet (I will update my review when I do) I had a great experience when picking out the new furniture for my living room. Just like any other furniture store you are greeted by a sales person at the door. She asked if I needed help and since I was looking to order this time for sure- I would need her assistance. She took the time to go over the room design, and sizes of the couches I was picking. We both had out tape measures and calculators. I definitely got the design consultation I was looking for. Wow bought 2 recliners end of May. One was delivered the other was coming from there warehouse. Asked about delivery did not have truck in town, several back surgerys. They would not deliver unless I paid. This is my 3 and 4 chair in last 10 years. It's August 18th no recliner!!! Oh in July I called was told it was on it way would be here on 16th of July!!!! So I waited, I went into store end of July. This women was so rude she did not care one bit told me they had 12 weeks to deliver and someone could call me.... UGH I am here talk to me. She ignored me and went on to sell more recliners. Very very very rude let me leave and did not give a shit. Well it's now morning of 18th no call, no recliner, after 50 plus years living in valley I will never shop or buy another La-z-boy again. Josh Davis was an excellent salesman, giving me good information about the type of recliner I was looking for, and then letting me browse and try the recliners, but was always alert and available to answer my questions without being obtrusive. He realized that we needed the recliner soon (for health reasons), so he and Patrick delivered the recliner themselves in two days, so that we didn't have to wait a full week for truck delivery; they were courteous and cheerful, and very happy to be helpful with the delivery and furniture setup, giving excellent customer service that reflects very well on the La-Z Boy store in Boise. Bought two tilt-swivel chairs with stain warranty. The second week I was vacuuming the carpet and drug the power cord under one chair. I flipped the cord out and over the chair to move ahead. As it turns out the large swivel ball bearing under the chair is not sealed and very heavily greased with red grease which then got onto the back and top of the chair from the cord contact. Calling for the stain removing warranty (it is a third-party) the conversation devolved into an unpleasant negative response from them with no resolution. I called Lazy Boy and was told they would return our call, but they never did. I don't like having to make multiple phone calls to find somebody that will do their job and honor the warranty we bought. We did the best we could removing the grease ourselves. Now the chairs are months old and the wood frames creak, pop, snap and groan every time you move in them. Not too good for a thousand dollar chair. Doubtful these chairs will last longer than a couple of years. read more

Friendly and nice selection, but their prices are inflated. I was looking for a decently-built and medium priced upholstered sofa for use in the spare room. Nothing heirloom quality, but I didn't want junk like RC Willey or MOR has. I'm a big fan of Room & Board but for this purchase it didn't have to be THE best quality nor the associated price. LZB had a few sofas with "mega sale" or "sale" tags, but if you look at msrp on the corporate site it will show prices not much higher than the "mega sale." I asked an employee and showed him the suggested retail to which he said "well, this is our price and this is the sale price." One sofa was tagged as originally $1349 but the La Z Boy site says it's $999 before tax. The so-called blowout price was $830. Furniture is extremely overpriced with gigantic markup and when I think sale or mega sale it's at least 30%. For reference, Ennis Furniture in Boise is having a 40-45% sale on Thomasville (which is close to their cost) and a significant sale on Sam Moore, et al. I didn't buy because nothing was super comfy to me. In the end I did not buy the sofa(s) at La-Z-Boy on Orchard because of the salesman's response (he didn't even bother asking a manager) and out of principle (same reason for not buying at Echelon in Boise: their 30% sale price is exactly msrp on the Stylus corporate site). read more

Purchased 2 leather recliners here in January of 2015. We realized the end of July that the dye was coming off the headrest of one of the chairs. When I called the store the first of August I was told that since I had paid additional for the extended warranty to call the insurance company (Phoenix A.M.D. International). After sending photo's a warranty claim was denied, no coverage for dye problems, just stains. I went into the store on Aug 16th and was told the manager, John Davis, was unavailable but he would call me the next day. No call so on Aug 19th I sent Mr Davis an email with the information from Phoenix. A couple of days later I rec'd a call from Mr. Davis and was told although the one year Lazboy warranty was out he would make arrangements for someone to call me to set an appointment and come to inspect the chair. To date there has been no additional contact.............. Apparently the added expense of Lazboy does not provide a superior product, Very disappointed with Lazboy product quality and with follow thru with this store. read more
