I don't have an insurance so the doc gave me 70% off coupon to pay for my very expensive Labcorp bill. Apparently you have to make payment with this coupon within 30 days after invoice date. I was literately 12 hours late with the payment, I asked Labcorp to make an exception but they refused. The stuff I spoke with was arrogant, all they care about is money. I will never ever use this lab again. In addition, LabCorp just sent me an invoice for a bill I already paid a year ago. I sent them my bank statement and I'm curious to see how quickly they'll process this one. Reading all the bad reviews here I wouldn't be surprised if they already sent it to collections. BioReference lab by the way charges at least 10 times less than LabCorp without any coupons. Never had billing issues with BioReference, they process everything quickly and cost of their services is reasonable. read more

Totally useless! Went for bloodwork on July 25th. Two weeks later and still no results. I have called several times , even received an email to say the results were available but still nothing. I even have a case number and still nothing. They told me the results were sent to the doctor on July 26 but they didn't . It was only sent On August 3rd. No customer service whatsoever. If it was possible to give them Zero stars I would. I have put in a BBB complaint as well regarding the situation below. I was sent a statement from LabCorp for services on 11/9/17, total amount due was 114.36 on my Invoice after payment from my insurance company. On 12/12/17 I paid 107.78 from my HSA account then on 1/9/18 I paid 6.58 from my own checking account to pay off the 114.36. I then received a statement advising that I had paid a payment of only 75.00 on 1/9/18 so I still owed 39.36. I called LabCorp and spoke to them about the discrepancy and I sent them proof of my payments in pictures showing that the first payment I paid was 107.78 on 1/9/18 through email at their request. On January 16 2018, I was sent a statement showing all my payments and that statement was incorrect showing that I paid a payment for 75.00 and then a payment for 6.58. I emailed them back with the proof again that I paid 107.78 and advised LabCorp that I need to have this resolved because the wrong payment was posted to my account. I again attached the information about my 107.78 payment. Today I received an email from them, saying the exact same thing as the first one, saying they are going to send me a record of my payments and that I still owe 32.78. So now I am writing this to you because it is clear that no one is listening/reading any of my information. I have paid my full bill and I want them to send me a statement showing my correct payments and that I do not owe anything else for my invoice. **They do not read the emails that they ask for and just send copy and pasted responses** read more

My doctors office used Lab Corp. Lab Corp billed us and we paid it and then found out that it was in error. When I called to ask where the refund was in the beginning of January they said they sent it December 8 and that I should call back in a few days in case the payment was held up due to holiday mail. Called back, spoke with supervisor Sharon Anderson and asked them to expedite the return. She said she would do so and call back and let me know when it is sent. She never called back. It is now eight days later and I am on hold again. Each call requires a 15 minute minimum hold before you even get to someone. Also they sent bills under the name LCA Collections which is the same company. read more

BEWARE: Most inept corporation ever. I had to report them to the Better Business Bureau to get the matter resolved. The nutshell version is that they are apparently contracted to do my doctor's lab work. I didn't even know about it. Apparently, they waited ELEVEN MONTHS to submit to my insurance company and then claimed they didn't even have the correct insurance information. Hmm, that's funny. The doctor provided it to them. Then, when they sent me a bill directly ELEVEN MONTHS after my last appointment, I gave it to them again. My insurance company said LabCorp never even submitted a claim to them. I got another bill and filed with the BBB. Basically, LabCorp has to eat my bill because of their own stupidity. I don't know how they got my direct address and information but they had no business contacting me directly. I have a problem with my doctor's office and I have a big problem with LabCorp. My wife was just laughed out of the office on Ironwood in Scottsdale, Az. for not having a prescription for Blood work. The male receptionist looked at my wife and laughed long and loud. He then proceeded to call the Doctor my wife was going to and laughed at him also! I am her husband and I was also in that office for some blood work 2 weeks ago. I was VERY concerned with the same male front desk person's attitude which was flippant and most disrespectful. This is a disgrace. We will NOT use Labcorp again for anything!!! read more

Lipid Blood Test From Hell! I filled out their online appointment form for a lipid panel blood test and took it, with my doctor's order, to their site on Montreal Rd in Tucker, GA. It was staffed with only a single person who was the tech. She said she could not do my blood test because the doctor's order did not have the test code on it. But I replied that it clearly has the test name on it. She said she can't go by that. So i took out my iPhone, went to their website and told her what the code was (after going to the end of the line and starting over). Then she said it had to come from my doctor, not me, and that he would also have to provide another number that sounded something like a "requisition" number. I told her my doctor does not normally work with Lab Corp, he was doing me a favor by finding a lab location closer to my home, and he might not know what that number was. She said he would have to find it. This process went on for over an hour as she kept asking me to go back to the end of the line while she waited on other patients who had appointments later than mine. While i was very frustrated I managed to stay polite but she got more and more surly and I could see that this was not ever going to work. So after fasting for 12 hours and driving a long way to get there I finally left without getting the blood test. Avoid LabCorp at all costs!! read more

If there were negative stars, I would use those - Watch out everyone who uses Labcorp - their billing department is far below substandard - Save every invoice, receipt and phone call or contact info - When you call back the previous information you were given is conveniently not showing. I went in January, gave my insurance card as usual (which I have had for two years, which I get lab work done every 6 months) - Labcorp billing department billed an insurance I havent had for 2 years, when I received the first invoice I was told it would be rebilled to correct insurance, that they had all info on file - Another bill received yesterday, today was told no current insurance on file blah blah blah - these people absolutely should not be handling the submission and processing of claims as they clearly need training. More lab work needing to be done tomorrow, Im confident I will have another issue - It really stinks they are lower priced than others, because people with high deductibles really have no choice unless we want to pay more now - which honestly might be worth it! read more

Inept technician stuck me once on each arm and could not draw blood. The second time she jammed the needle into my vein all the way up to the tube and twisted, causing me to yell and get nauseous. Now I have nasty bruises for both arms. She only got a partial tube of blood and then told me that she would not submit the sample for the test because it wasn't enough. She told me I should have consumed water before the appointment (i.e., it was my fault, not her ineptness) -- but I had indeed drunk 17 ounces of water starting an hour before the appointment. This is the second time I've been stuck repeatedly at a LabCorp facility by staff that clearly should not be drawing blood. I will never use them again. read more

My doctors office used this place. If hadn't kept track of my insurance account online, I would have never known I had a bill. THEY NEVER sent a bill. They took 2 months to submit a claim which I did pay for. And then 5 MONTHS to submit another which was plain denied by my Insurance (thank goodness). I told them I wanted a receipt for payment and I have never received anything. They said they mailed it in May, it's now August. Horrible company. read more

I gave it a 3 star due to the wait. Our Lab Corp in Easton,Pa has only 1 tech. Making it difficult to walk in and fasting (early am) appointment within a day or 2 out is very difficult. I was lucky the day I went and only waited 15 min. My husband luckily had an appointment or else the wait was an hour. Great tech- no issues there. read more

I have had a terrible experience with this company. They added fees to what they had initially told me upfront. I asked to pay the full price upfront which I did but later received a bill in the mail as a past due notice for an extra amount. I contacted them two times in which they said they would waive the fee. I continued to receive this same bill in the mail that was not taken care of. The third time I called, they said that it was a fee that could not be waived because it was a hidden amount no one knew about. This has been a horrible experience and I would not recommend them at all. read more

I have been dealing with billing nightmares from Lab Corp for 7 months. They are a total scam. They get money from insurance and still try to bill you. They threaten you with a collections agency. There is no record that you have ever contacted them. I had my doctor's office fighting for me as well and it is still not resolved. I had to contact the fraud department at Blue Cross to help me. I went in to labcorp at 19016 Stone Oak Pkwy. When I walked in I told the two people at the from (Joseph Maldonando and "other person") that I was here for a drug screen. They stared at me for a few seconds without saying anything while looking me dead in eyes. That laughed and said "kiosk is right behind you." This is where the rudeness started. I didn't see the kiosk when I walked in. Then I get called back by Joseph Maldonado to take me screen. He had me empty my belongings and gave instruction on how to do the drug screen. He told me to wash my hand before and not flush. So I did. When i came out he told me to wash "again, " which I did. He said "that was a quick wash." I said, " I washed like you asked me to." He said, "that was a quick wash, would you use hand sanitizer before touching my pen." I told him "no, I would not because I wash my hands with soap and water like he asked. "He then said, "are you going to use your own pen?" I said "no i am not." He then kept asking me to sanitize, finally after arguing with him I I was going to make a complaint for harassing me on the sanitizer before touching his pen after I washed my hands. He made me feel "dirty" and announced to everyone in the lobby and front desk about how I was going to report him for harassment. I'm terribly disappointed with my treatment. read more
