First time today at this location. It was inside a nice medical building, plenty of parking available. Mine is a walk-in which took about 30-45 minutes. The service was excellent. Leslie was very professional on all levels, even though she was busy... and that's what's important, just keeping a great attitude. I appreciate her! Best labcorp location I found so far in San Diego. I didn't have a wait, came 20 mins before closing. Phlebotomist was kind and the needle didn't hurt! This is the BEST LABCORP in San Diego County. Phlebotomist Danielle is very professional and does a superb job in drawing my blood. She has drawn my blood twice at the Citracado facility. No pain with the needle and always finds my vein. Very courteous and always has a smile. She is my favorite at the facility. I always have a appointment before I go to the LABCORP facility other wise you could wait up to one hour to be seen. This facility is so popular because they do a great job. I arrived a few minutes after they closed. Granted I understand them not doing anymore testing. All I wanted to do was drop off a test and could see a person chatting on the phone. I held the test so she could see that I only wanted to drop it off. She wouldn't even take a minute to open the door and take the test I wanted to drop off. [I've copied this from an email I sent to the location's supervisor, because I wanted to specifically thank and recognize the staff here for the wonderful job they do.] Good morning, I wanted to write and leave a positive feedback note about the excellent Labcorp staff at the Escondido location on 1955 Citracado Pwky. I have visited three times in the past month and received "above and beyond" care and was processed very quickly and efficiently every time. Specifically, I remember Brie, Alma, George, and Betty as friendly, warm professionals who have wonderful bedside manners that calmed my lingering nerves over getting blood drawn. Brie has an especially fantastic attitude that puts patients at ease (so much so that I remembered her after 4 months between visits) and I appreciated Alma double-checking complex details regarding a sample I needed to give. I have been recommended this particular Labcorp location three separate times by my PCP and specialists who don't know each other, with every doctor privately saying that "this is the best one to go to." I think that speaks volumes about the efficiency and professionalism shared by the staff in getting results back to the doctor offices, as well as the positive feedback the doctors must be receiving from their patients about their individual experiences. I hope you will pass on this positive feedback to the right supervisors, so the employees at the Citracado Pkwy Labcorp can receive the credit that is due to them. Great experience today! I was able to wait in my car until my appointment time, and they were able to actually take me a few minutes early! Clean facility and extremely friendly staff. I wanted to thank Brie for going above and beyond for me today. I brought in an unfamiliar specialty lab's NIPT and she and her coworker consulted with her supervisor and were able to get my labs ordered and drawn for me. The labs are time sensitive so I'm so grateful for her efforts as I didn't know when or where else I'd be able to get them done. She had a great attitude and a sense of humor that also put me at ease. 10/10 read more

Every time that we have come here we have gotten in very fast. This was the first time I am extremely disappointed with our wait time. We used the express checkin again this time. We waited 45 minutes without being acknowledged with at least 4 people being seen before being told to sign in. Why offer an express checkin if it definitely is NOT express. If visiting make sure you make an appt.. the person with an appt only waited an extra 20 minutes. read more

This review is for the person, like me, who checked the reviews to make themselves feel better because they are afraid of needles. This place was great! I have fainted on several occasions in other places and it is a really scary experience. Due to COVID, you check in online and you wait in the car until you are called. The location is nice. Once in there I asked if I could get my blood drawn laying down and the nurse was kind and understanding. I waited a couple minutes and was escorted to a room with a bed. She spoke to me while it was happening and made sure I didn't see the needle. Once done I was allowed to hang out in the room until I felt better. I've been to several LabCorp locations in Escondido, and this one is by far the nicest. The building is newer, and the office is clean and shiny. I happened to be the only patient in the waiting room. I was greeted pleasantly as I signed in, and immediately taken back for my blood draw. Today I had to go to a LabCorp to have my blood drawn and I chose the one at 1955 Citracado Parkway in Escondido!! I never look forward to this procedure, as my veins are extremely difficult to find. This is definitely the place to go if you need a blood draw!! The office was absolutely spotless, as were the examining rooms where they draw your blood. I really dislike to have my blood drawn, as my veins are very thin and very uncooperative!! The young lady who was attending me did an extremely awesome job and I never felt a thing!! Wish I could leave negative stars. This location has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Having worked in healthcare for years, I have no idea how this place is left standing. Called 26 times throughout the day to have my questions answered, nobody ever picked up the phones. Arrived at 2.55p for a routine drug screening for employment, the guy in front of me was told "as long as you're here by 3, you're fine!" Because I had my 11 month old son with me, I was told I couldn't be seen. I said I could have someone there in 5 mins to watch him and was told to come back, "we need to be closed by 4". I said someone will be here before you even get to me, as the waiting room was full of people who were ahead of me. I was told "no, you need to come back". They treat their customers like scum. Furious is an understatement. Called the manager and gave her feedback, she was very apologetic and helpful (the one positive to the entire experience!) read more
