They seemed fine until the bills came in. When they came to do the testing, they assured me that insurance would cover it all, however they surpassed the high levels of coverage offered by USAA and left me with out of pocket expenses of over $200. They do work directly with insurance to submit invoices, but I didn't see all of the invoices until I asked (months after the work was done) because they started texting me about paying the bill without having ever sent me one, before the check even arrived. I'm reluctant to submit payment now as I worry I was taken advantage of and I'm trying to figure out why there is such a cost differential. Still working to see if insurance will cover the difference, but when I'm already in a stressful home damage situation and already had to pay my deductible out of pocket, getting additional bills (that I was told by the company would be covered by insurance) is not appreciated, nor is getting texts about payment when they never even sent the invoice. Also, payment questions should all be via email or a more professional interface than texting, but perhaps that is something I did not clarify. read more

I had an asbestos issue in the attic of my house and VM3 was a pleasure and joy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Nick, Andrew my tester, and Ramon the field manager. Nick works in the front office and he was very accommodating in scheduling days that worked for my testing. There were a lot of timing details that had to be coordinating between VM3 and the abatement company and Nick was fantastic in navigating these and keeping me updated and well informed throughout the process. When I met Andrew the CSST inspector/tester at my home for the first consultation, he drafted a detailed drawing of the home and answered a lot of questions I had about the type of testing that could be done and the pros and cons of each. He introduced me to the aggressive' testing method for air tests which I had not come across before. Because I had a decently sized abatement job, and wanted to get more info on how many and what tests to do and where exactly in my house, I had an hour long super informative and incredibly helpful conversation with Ramon, the field supervisor. Ramon is a GEM. He was patient with all of my questions and an excellent teacher and educator. He had in depth knowledge of his field and was able to explain the answer to all my questions in a way that was detailed but still easy to understand. When we came up with a plan for testing (19 tests!) Ramon communicated this extremely effectively to Andrew. On the day of testing, Andrew did a thorough and detailed job of telling me exactly how and where he tested. Thank you so much to the team at VM3. You all are fantastic. read more

We had an asbestos contamination within our home and our property owner sent over another testing company that did a horrible job. I was not happy with their work and knew I had to call in some real professionals to do the job. Jake was the technician that did all the testing at my house. He explained the process and answered all my questions. We asked to do 8 samples just to make sure that my house is free from asbestos. It only took him less than an hour, from the time he came, do his testing and wall patching. Called them to check our house for some things we had been suspecting were affecting my wife's health. First, they discovered on an open wall that ServPro did NOT dry it out as it should have been... saving us a headache and allowing us to stop repairs before things got too far forward. ServPro did come back to fix the issue and confirmed using their own moisture meter the studs in our wall were still wet. Aside from that, their communication via email and phone was very thorough. I had an incredible experience with VM3 Environmental. I called and left a message for Asbestos testing on a weekend. Drue called me back first thing Monday morning. Drue was able to work with my schedule and have Jake meet me at my home over my lunch hour that very day. I contacted VM3 to inspect my home after I observed a strong musty/moldy odor in a closet. VM3 came out the same day, was on time, and found the source of the odor (wet carpet and padding due to a leak from an adjacent bathroom). In our case, Ryan Decker of VM3 Environmental arrived and found an area that was not completely dry prior to the test, necessitating further work by the remediation company. VM3 demonstrated they are not a "rubber stamp" environmental testing company and we really appreciated their willingness to help hold the remediation company accountable even though it required VM3 to make two trips to our site.
