Was experiencing high BP, upper and lower GI distress, very scary heart-related issues (tightness in chest, pain), constant diarrhea, losing weight rapidly. This had been going on for days. They literally checked my vitals (temp, BP) and nurse palpated my stomach. Then they made me wait and shoved forms at me to sign while I was still feeling distressed. One of the forms was saying that I refused treatment, which is false. They simply did not know what to do with me. An expensive lesson learned that I need to avoid this location (at least with an allergic reaction). They charged my insurance about $1020 (my portion $684) for the ER visit and another $163 (my portion ($92) for the PA I saw. I ended up having to pay over $600 for absolutely nothing: no meds, no help, no tests done, absolutely nothing. I was able to get a 20% discount off the $684 charge if I paid in full. I found that out after calling to complain. It was a weird, expensive, and disappointing experience.

We never got a final statement from PSH. Instead they let vendors (many we had never heard of) send bills that had been denied by our insurance company one by one. It was very confusing. Many were sent to a collection agency and it was never made clear what was owed and what had been unpaid. I have no idea how much this visit cost, or how much we paid. There was never any type of accounting, but we were expected to pay every stray bill without explanation. in the future, I intend to save my credit rating and go to a different hospital.

I'm a retired nurse and I can be a very assertive/aggressive patient if I believe that things aren't being done right. I felt at ease seeing that I was being taken care of by competent and professional staff. I was really impressed that they actually looked at my history and notes from my previous visit. They addressed all my questions and concerns; I was very pleased with my overall experience.

I was welcomed and seen promptly. I came in on a Saturday afternoon. I saw the doctor within half an hour. I had to do a two hour contrast CT scan so I had to be there on the longer end but they made sure my family had snacks and drinks and I had plenty of warm blankets. I was very happy with everyone I was in contact with.

Whenever my son visits during school break or…read moreon the weekends, it's the only option he has to get checked - between campus work and classes. The wait time is never more than a half hour even when it's super busy, and the ordering of Rx for pickup at nearby pharmacies is so efficient, we never have to worry about it not being available by the time we get to the store. The front desk guy and the staff have always been professional and personable. I highly recommend it to everyone.

They suggested to go to walk-in urgent care. Tuesday 8/4/26 @9am came here and told them about my possible poison ivy episode with a 2-week outdoor project I was involved in out of town. I was bitten by chiggers, ant, mosquitos, you name it. Red spots started turning more serious. The initial nurse told me it didn't really look like poison ivy so I was curious now what could it be. After a 1hr wait (could have been longer) Elisabeth Pagan, NP came in and I told her again what I had been involved in. She was def sure it was staph infection. Whats that?? prescribed me: triamcinolone and sulfamethoxazole along with zyrtec and pepcid to reduce histamine response. By Friday 8/7/26 no sign of change and some areas got worse. Decided to walk myself into ER on morning of 8/8/26. THANK YOU- CNP, Boelens for your consultation. I could tell she really didnt want to be rude about my urgent care experience but as I was asking questions she was like "that med should have not been prescribed to you," and she also asked, "did she give you a shot"? :/ I said no. Left with a steroid shot and new presc. I felt a weight off my shoulders and peace. I will also be writing a personal note to Elisabeth Pagan for her lack of care and attention with my visit.
