I was so upset to have to go an urgent care during my vacation but the staff made the process so easy and frictionless. First of all Annie at the reception desk was so sweet and helpful! She obviously cares about her responsibilities and carries them out with kindness and efficiency. Carly the nurse and Dr. Casanova have wonderful bedside manner and made me feel heard and cared for. My mom and I were on my way to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions in under an hour. Highly highly recommended.

I am writing to formally report a deeply concerning experience I had with True Compassion Urgent…read moreCare in Palm Beach Gardens. At the time of my visit, I was informed by the receptionist that my total charge would be $283. When I asked about my insurance coverage, she stated that after the first of the year, the first bill must be paid in full by the patient. Based on this representation, I paid the $283. This explanation did not sit well with me. Approximately four weeks later, I contacted Humana directly to verify my responsibility for the visit. I was informed that, under my policy, I was only responsible for a $50 copayment. I explained to Humana what had occurred at True Compassion Urgent Care, and a conference call was arranged with their billing department. During the call, Rafael from Billing stated that Humana had never paid the claim and that he was therefore retaining my payment. However, Humana advised him during that same call that payment had in fact been issued three weeks prior. This situation raises serious concerns, as it appears I was charged the full amount despite the insurance payment having already been processed. Had I not contacted Humana to question the charge, I believe this overpayment would not have been brought to my attention. Additionally, Rafael was extremely rude during the conference call with both Humana and myself and ultimately disconnected the call. The following day, I contacted the city to report what I believe to be improper billing practices. I also called True Compassion Urgent Care and left a message for the medical assistant requesting a return call, but my message was not returned. After I informed the receptionist that I intended to report the matter and that I believed the billing practices were improper, Rafael contacted me shortly thereafter and offered to return my money. Had I not independently pursued clarification with my insurance company, True Compassion Urgent Care would have retained $283, when my actual responsibility was only $50 -- resulting in a $233 overpayment on my part.

It is very sad that this is normal practice at this office. My father has dementia and this is the doctor that was given to us from the Former Columbia Hospital now called JFK north. After sitting in the waiting room for almost 7 hours , the doctor couldn't even help us. He said he was not affiliated with JFK. Please be aware that you will be disappointed and exhausted. I had a relative referred to this doctor by Blue Cross for an urgent consultation and I went with…read morethe relative. I received an appointment through the insurance company for my relative. But, it turns out, there are no appointments at this practice. You must show-up Mon-Thur between 11:30-6:30 and "sign in." Yes, everyday is walk-in day. Then you wait, and wait, and wait. When the doctor sees you it will be for 8 minutes--TOPS--and that includes writing the prescriptions. You will waste hours here. And, the doctor only writes a 30 day prescription so you must repeat this 1/2 a day process every month if you want to continue with the treatment. FYI, Blue Cross pays him $147/visit and patient pays a $40 co-pay. So, he is making better than $1000/hour. Yet, for $1000/hour, there is NO empathy, kindness, professionalism nor care. The staff is (trying to be kind here) , perhaps, high school educated. They have no medical experience and lack empathy and ethics. After one month of medication and therapy (therapy with a real psychologist), the doctor canceled the relative's appointment the day before a needed refill. This left the relative without medication for a week, causing withdrawal (yes, you withdrawal from anti-depressants), anxiety, fear, depression, a giant step backwards. I repeatedly tried to talk to staff about this but they told me they wouldn't even communicate my concerns to the doctor because "he didn't want to hear it either.". I was told "This is a private practice and you are not going to tell us how to run it." Apparently the Board of Medical Licensing and State of Florida are also people who "are not going to tell them how to run the practice" because there is no concern for ethics nor professionalism. He has no back-up, will not call in a non-narcotic medicine and will not take calls, I have never seen so many down-trodden 40 & 50+ people collecting prescriptions for ADD. I mean, if you can take 5-6 hours of a workday every 30 days to sit here for this doctor, I'm wondering if you even have a job??? And, it you don't have a job, I'm not sure how ADD is affecting you but, i suspect, prescribed speed is fun at any age. I suspect that the patients who say he is "great" are the ones being prescribed controlled substances "speedily." I would not go here if you have any choice at all. Unfortunately, some insurance companies (Blue Cross being one of them) simply do not have psychiatrists on their list. And not everyone can pay $200-$300 cash every month to get a prescription. Nonetheless, Dr. Sahadeo should be ashamed, truly ashamed. He is there to assist those with mental illness and addiction. But, he is actively harming many.

I went to cvs urgent care and they weren't allowing walk ins. So I found helix urgent care and went. I walked in the office was beyond clean and the front desk staff was very nice! I had my infant with me as well was worried they were going to say something with how weird everything is now with rona but they didn't mind. They took me back almost immediately. The nurses were great the nurse practitioner was great. I really had a wonderful quick visit! I highly recommend you go here if you're not feeling well. Skip the other urgent cares

I normally wouldn't leave a negative review for an occasional mistake, but this has now happened three separate times with multiple members of my family over the past two years -- all with the same provider. The issues included: * A prescription called in for the completely wrong patient, delaying treatment by several hours. * Another prescription that was never transmitted to the pharmacy despite staff confirming it had been sent. After several failed trips to the pharmacy, it was dismissed as a "glitch," forcing me to return to the clinic for a paper prescription. * Most concerning, a prescription sent to the wrong pharmacy location and apparently dispensed to another patient -- a significant lapse in accuracy and patient privacy. When speaking with the pharmacy about one of these errors, staff mentioned that problems with this provider were recurring and not limited to my family. The clinical staff were polite, but the repeated administrative and prescription failures created unnecessary stress, wasted significant time, and raised legitimate concerns about reliability and patient safety. Urgent care is supposed to make things easier, not more complicated. I hope the practice takes these systemic issues seriously and improves their prescription processes. Until then, I would be very cautious about returning.

I drive out of my way to get here, because it is completely worth it. Legacy Place is undergoing construction, so this might seem difficult to find, but do not despair, it is open. There is free, easy garage parking directly across from the clinic, a few steps away from the front door.The front door kind of looks like the back door because it faces that garage, but it actually makes a kind of private entrance that is not along the walkway where the other stores are. A nice security person opened the door to let us in. This clinic is for children only, so there is no exposure to sick adults. The waiting room is child friendly, as is the TV content, so my kid feels very comfortable. We recently were seen by an incredibly compassionate wonderful nurse who spoke directly to my son in a very child friendly way that he responded to so well. I felt so confident with her mannerisms and expertise. Followed up by a visit from a doctor who was also very real yet friendly. I love being in a child-centric space all over the building. After the visit was over, our nurse gave my son 2 coins to be able to use the toy machine before exiting. He loves the toy he receives and is currently asking when we can go back to the doctor! Thank you to the friendly staff at the front desk, our awesome nurse and doctor. A 24-hour CVS is nearby on Military, and it is easy to pickup late night prescriptions here.

I had a colonoscopy scheduled here at the North County Surgicenter. I found the experience very…read moreeasy-going without much stress or consternation. The check-in and processing were pretty straightforward. I didn't wait long in their waiting area before being taken down the hallway through the secure double doors. The preparation and recovery room comprised a few bed areas. I paused briefly at a chair in the hallway while they ensured the one I was going to was ready. I was comfortable once I was prepared for the procedure in the bed area selected for me. The nursing staff was beneficial and kind, and felt they had me covered and taken care of. The only issue was the delay in my scheduled entry time. But that was due to the exam and procedure taking longer for other patients. So, I couldn't hold that against them that much. Once I was in, my doctor was friendly and warm and ensured this would go quickly. The drugs certainly were quick, so they administered them IV, which put me to sleep. They were warm and happy. I was out within seconds. I wish they had kept me out longer because the sleep was so heavenly. But the procedure didn't take long, and they were good with getting me back into coherence, into street clothes, and on my way.
