Then day of appointment received text with instruction on how to check in with link and this process worked as well Lobby has chairs and also has kiosk for alternative checkin process I was called into appointment on time, nurse Joanie was professional and completed process in less than 10 min. Had a wonderful experiecne with Ms. Geri who drew my blood. She was very kind and knowledgeable.

I was quite pleased with the care I got at Quest Diagnostics in Jupiter FL on Indiantown Rd. It is a very modern facility with no reception desk area. You just go to a kiosk and check yourself in on a computer screen, scanning your driver's license and insurance card. I had an appointment that I made online, so my wait was not long even though the waiting room was full. Those waiting must have been walk-ins because they take those with appointments ahead of walk-ins. My technician was very nice and friendly, and did a good job. I would give 5 stars except the day before, trying to make an appointment was difficult. I spent over an hour trying to make the appointment but it would not allow me to continue past the initial request to be seen. I finally gave up. Then when trying to call the location directly it was just a recording telling me to go online to make the appointment. Perhaps the website was having a problem yesterday because I somehow got through today and was able to make the appointment. Not sure that I did anything different. However, I think elderly patients would be very frustrated with the system as it is now. I would suggest they look into making their website more user friendly. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars. read more

I had my blood drawn at Quest located at 4600 Military Trl, Jupiter Florida, 33458 this morning. I was there with my young child and we had Joanie for the blood draw. Today's experience with Joanie and this location in particular was literally the best experience I've had giving blood. The location was clean, someone came out and greeted us and made sure we were able to check in without any issues, and Joanie actually had a smile on her face. I can't tell you the last time I had blood drawn at a Quest where they smiled or even looked at me. She was friendly, positive, she politely listened to all the talking my kiddo did while never missing a beat to keep the process moving quickly. Most important for me - I barely felt the needle - a STARK contrast from my last experience at a different quest a month prior where the agent didn't even look at me, ignored my questions, and left a very large bruise that lasted 2 weeks. My kiddo is also very into learning and Joanie explained what she was doing and what would happen with my blood while she was taking the draw. We both learned something new from that! She then actually gave me directions on how to avoid a bruise - something the previous location couldn't be bothered with. Not that I ever want to have blood drawn but the next time I do, I will without a doubt be going to this specific location, and I will be keeping my fingers crossed that we get Joanie again. read more

Kind of impossible to speak with anyone, both on the phone and when you arrive at the location itself. This is infuriating. They have opted for an all-automated approach to scheduling and registration. Perhaps this is COVID-19 sensible, perhaps this is a simply horrible idea - it works well, perhaps, if there are no special circumstances or questions regarding your visit. Less well if you are trying to get a test for a child or an incapacitated adult. That said, the technician was helpful, skilled, and very pleasant. Just frustrating to have to wait so long to interface with such an individual. The facility is clean but a bit impersonal. The feng shue is off. read more

Making an appointment seems to be meaningless with quest period they book so many appointments for the same time that cannot be handled by the staff, and it spirals out of control period they know how to make an appointment, they have no clue how to keep an appointment. They should have consideration. Many people are fasting when they come in and making them wait several hours while having an appointment is ridiculous. Not recommended. read more

Idiot woman behind the desk told me I could not come in without a mask even though I had my blood drawn in December 2020 at the same Quest location without a mask. I have a doctors note stating that I cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition. People with cancer have very few red blood cells because of the chemotherapy and those are the ones that carry oxygen. That's why we pass out when there's any kind of obstruction to our airflow. She wouldn't even look at my note. So I'll wait till I get back to Illinois and go to my regular quest who know me and don't do this, however my oncologist is certainly going to be really pissed when he doesn't have my blood results for my chemo on Tuesday. read more

Quest used to be good, and I always make an online appointment, but this morning, neither kiosk scanner would recognize the QR code on my phone. Appointment was made less than six months ago. Per Quest's policy, the only thing I could do was change the appointment to a walk-in where appointments took precedence and when my appointment time suddenly went from 7:40am to 10:40am I walked out and will not go back. To anyone reading this: stay away from Quest Diagnostics. Go to LabCorp instead of just have blood taken at your doctor's visit. Too bad. Quest used to do such a good job... I suffer from major anxiety and for me to go anywhere is a struggle. I had to fast which means no coffee as well. The employees are generally friendly and try their best to keep things running smoothly. My main complaint is that the wait time quoted on the Quest website is grossly inaccurate. The wait time for this location was 0 minutes on the website and when I got there and checked in the wait time given was 50 minutes but actually ended up being much longer. I double checked the website to see if the wait time had been updated, but sure enough, the time quoted on the site was still 0 minutes. I usually try to make an appointment but in this case I was not able to. I would have really appreciated an accurate wait time on the site prior to driving over to the lab. This is very disrespectful of people's time. read more

First, you have to realize that labs are overloaded because of Covid 19. And perhaps they cannot get more staff. But - I saw an internet ad placed by Quest for a part time lab tech! Part time? Three visits with no bloodwork was my (absolutely wonderful!) experience here. First try - I was a walk-in, which I have been doing there for years, and waits were reasonable. I waited an hour+, but the wait time screen always showed a wait time for me of 15 minutes or less. When I finally asked, I was told to make an appointment. So I left. Then, when I left, the screen still showed 15 minutes. Second try - I made an 8:00 AM on-line appointment for a different Jupiter office. I showed up at 7:45 AM, where I was #7 in line. I waited patiently in the office until 8: 45 AM. At that time the office was full. A security guard was there in a lab coat to keep order. When I asked about the order of taking clients, at that time, I was sharply told to sit down and wait, with no answer. The security guard hovered nearby all the while. Of course, I left forthright. I called Quest's 800 number, and waited maybe 15 minutes on hold ()reasonable for an overloaded staff). But then the agent treated me with indifference, answered questions I did not ask, and when I made repeated requests for a (non-existent) supervisor, I was promised a callback. I never got one. Third try - I made a 9:00 AM appointment. Because of previous long waits, I saw no need to show up on time, so I came 12 minutes late. I was told that my appointment was canceled because I was 2 minutes late after previously waiting patiently for way too long. This was company policy, but nowhere does it say this when I made my appointments. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I have no idea why the waits were so long, after the posted wait time with my name were reasonable (which kept me there). Posted times were a fraction of my actual wait time. What I think is that if you make an appointment at Quest you are are more likely to wait longer, while walk-ins are more likely to leave, so walk-ins are taken before clients with appointments, while clients with appointments wait much longer. I was #7 in line, 15 minutes early, on my second try, and when I left 45 minutes later, considerably more than 7 clients had been taken care of. It is US - YOU and ME - that pays their salaries. I refuse to be treated like a child, like a subordinate, like an object to be ignored. Their policies and attitude is absolutely impersonal, disrespectful and self serving and has no regard for us as people. Like shut up and sit down. GO ELSEWHERE! This was in April. Now it's May, and I have an appointment for a small lab nearby (Bioreference Laboratories, Palm Beach Gardens, which has good local reviews, five stars from 12 patients). Quest got three stars and doesn't deserve even one star. We will see how Bioreference treats me. read more

This is not really specific to this location, but encompasses all Quests. This is only the most recent Quest I have had the displeasure of having my blood drawn. Quest is constantly in excess of 30 minutes late for appointments. Their phlebotomist are not particularly good. Most recently, after having a result "pending" for 3+ weeks, it was abruptly cancelled due to inadequate reagent/testing kits?!? Called customer service to ensure I nor my insurance was being charged for this utter nonsense. 40 minutes later, I am still waiting in the "2-5 minute" queue, after already being disconnected when last rep attempted to put me on hold and hung up instead. Not sure why he took down my number if he will not call back. I have no faith that future blood draws will even be tested at this point. ABHORRENT customer service and patient care. Not to mention the fact that I am anemic and now this blood draw is going to affect my ability to determine how much is actually anemia and how much is from these vampires. //end rant read more

So, I'm being treated as a walk in and I'm waiting in the waiting room which is something I really didn't want to do. I honestly would give this place zero stars if I could. This woman Tonya was the rudest, harshest woman I've ever encountered in a workplace. She ripped the paperwork from my hands, yanked my arm, and took my blood so roughly I was still bleeding for 2 hours after I got home. She had an attitude during my entire appointment. She was talking about how people think they rule the world and don't want to wear masks right outside of my room to literally any coworker she could find even after I said sorry and got one from my car. This woman should honestly work on her bedside manners and reconsider if that job is right for her. She was patient...it was almost closing time...we needed to call my doctor who prescribed the blood test to get information faxed over to Quest in order to have the test. After not being called for 45 minutes as they were taking walk ins ahead of me. Made appointment to have blood work done on Monday for surgery the following week in Connecticut. On Friday I tried to check if they had received lab work request from my doctor. Tried to call using Phone number posted on website. Voice message stated "mail box not set up". Why have a phone number that is useless. Get rid of it if you can't even leave a message. Drove to Quest on Indiantown Rd to see if they had gotten faxed request for blood work. No front desk with a person that you could get Information, just chairs in waiting room. After about 5 minutes a lab person came out to get next person so I asked if she could help. Just wanted to know if they had received fax orders. She checked & a short time later came out with the faxed lab work orders, gave them to me & told me I could go anywhere to get blood work done. When I asked about phone she stated that they were too busy to take phone. calls. You have to go through the main Quest number. I had used the Quest lab on Toney Penna for years before it closed & never had a problem. They even had live people at a front desk who could answer any questions you had. Will look for someplace else for my lab work next time I need it done. read more

The young lady who did my blood work today - short brown hair, beautiful smile. She has this technique that should be taught to every medical professional in the world. The draw was completely painless and I didn't even know she was taking it until I head the blood flowing into the tube. Amazing, really. She's amazing. I am in total shock. My doctor sends me to Quest Diagnostics for my blood work. I have since lost my insurance and decided to look around at some other local testing centers since I am a self pay. I called Quest of course to find out how much 4 tests I needed would cost. The total was $875. I decided to call a different company just to see how much cheaper it would be. The price I got from another lab close to me was $150. Yes, for the same tests. Quest, you should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

I went for a PT-INR blood test. Quest in Abacoa does not have a computer connection to Quest Diagnostics up north, so the intake person had to enter all my information manually, even though I am in their computers up north. They do not have a PT-INR testing device, so they had to do a blood draw. They do not give the results to the doctor or you right away, so your blood can be excessively thin or thick and you wouldn't know it. The results take 24-48 hours. In this electronic age, this is a huge failure. I gave them a second star because I found all the personnel to be pleasant and professional. read more

I visited the Abacoa Quest lab for my 2:00 pm appt and, although the only one in the facility, I was not greeted upon entering, basically ignored except for being asked rudely if my dog was a service dog. If the clerk, Cheryl, had bothered to look up she would have seen that my dog wears a service dog jacket and is plainly identified (plus she is a 17 pound Cavalier). It went down hill from there as she gave my dog a dirty look and almost stepped into her when I said "saying excuse me would be helpful". Her attitude was very negative and when she realized I was not happy with her approach, she immediately turned me over to her colleague. We brought my 11-year old daughter today to draw blood and the technician (I think her name was Kiani), could not have been more caring or friendly. Five stars for this particular Quest lab (I definitely can't say the same for the other local Quest Labs). Been here numerous times for routine blood draws and never had any more than a small dot where the needle went in. Everyone is very polite and caring. I always make an appointment online and usually get taken care of before my designated time. I drive past my closest Quest to go to this one because the one closer to me was a black n' blue nightmare. read more
