After fasting for 12 hours, I was really dreading the 10-15 painful pokes & sticks. But no...Adriana (spelling ?) "got me" the very FIRST time! Wow! Do want to alert that there is no one at the sign-in booth. Instead there's a stand-up computer tablet at the booth with clear and easy instructions. It's a 5 star from me.

Went into room to have blood drawn a very unpleasant tech started with making sure my name was…read morecorrect, etc. When she tried to draw blood, she could not find the vein in my arm and started twisting the needle from one side to the other, pushed it further in and then started bringing the needle out slower. I had had enough of her trying to play pen the tail on the donkey with a needle in my arm. I asked her to take the needle out. She then comes back with a kit that you use when you start an IV. I told her I was leaving and I left. I always drink tons of water before going to get blood work. This was not the first time this has happened at Quest on Granada. I will never go back there again. The attitude of the person trying to take my blood was horrible. Plus the overall lack of simple courtesy is not part of their training I don't believe. Try to avoid this location at all costs.

Never hurt me ever and always did what was supposed to be done.. Now, the girl they have there can't seem to do anything right.. Stuck me in both arms, left bruises, and then didn't use the right tubes for the test my doctor needed.. I had to go back and surprize, surprize, a half hour past opening time and she is still not there... I called the other office but nobody answers there either... This lab is being really handled poorly and I will not be returning... What a shame..

It had a wonderful employ named Elaine that ran that office, she was wonderful. Took my neighbor there today, they moved to Atlantic Blvd and the new employ working there was terrible to her. We had to leave she was so rude to her, and go somewhere else. My neighbor is elderly and has to have surgery on Friday and needed bloodwork. I will never go there again, and neither will my neighbor.

Great experience and I will be recommending people who want lab test and don't have doctors to get the tests they wish here.

You have to fax to a number in orlando and are not provided any confirmation of the site getting the fax. Went to the site the next and waited for someone to come to the car and help me..NO ONE CAME I had to get out of my car and they said they did not have the fax so I had my doctor refax. After waiting 45 mins I had to get out of my car again and they still said they did not have the fax so I emailed it and they still say they did not have the script. I had the script in my hand and I was very sick and they still refused to help me! ADVENTHEALTH CENTRA CARE ORMOND IS TERRIBLE! UPDATE.. Originally I rated AdventHealth as a ONE STAR due to the above issues I had HOWEVER.. Today (the day after our issue) Mr. Bull and Ormond Centra Care fixed all issues and I appreciate it very much! 100%.. What is the point in making an appointment if they are going to let other people without appointments go ahead of you. You literally have to get there when they open no matter what time your appointment is in order to be seen in a timely manner. The front desk is also atrocious and the lady who I spoke to today (not sure of her name but she was young with brown hair) was so rude and dismissive. I could not believe the level of unprofessionalism that she displayed and her attitude was garbage. I will NEVER go to this location again. not honoring appointment, rude front desk workers and a general lack of respect for patients. The front desk workers, especially the one I dealt with today, need some serious education on customer service and how to properly speak to patients. I wasted my morning when I could have gone somewhere else and actually been helped and gotten the antibiotics I need. No wonder this location only has 2 stars.

Stopped in to visit a friend who was admitted to have a procedure, looks like he will be here a few…read moreweeks. This is fantastic facility and is very secure so be prepared to go through a Magnetometer and have you photo taken and a badge assigned to you before proceeding to conduct your business. There is some ongoing construction going on to expand this facility's capacity but it's contained and didn't affect entering or exiting the property however getting here can be a little challenging with all the traffic in the area. The staff here was really friendly and accommodating and I found the layout of this hospital to be very user friendly with good signage throughout. We found our way to our friend's room without any assistance and had a wonderful visit. I was told the level of care has been amazing and attentive, so we all have high expectations that the results will match the staff's professionalism and competency - I'm sure I'll return a few more times in the next few weeks to check on my buddy but it's reassuring knowing he is receiving the best care possible...

My husband and I were well established within the Advent Health system for a number of years but we…read morehad had two previous primary care physicians leave their practices rather abruptly. It hadn't been easy finding another primary care practice within the Advent system, but we had. We had found a physician we really liked in a very good family practice group located in the medical offices of the Advent Health Daytona Beach hospital. We felt we were being well cared for there, until we suddenly weren't. At our last routine office visits we were told when we checked out that the practice, of four physicians, was being closed! We had been scheduled well ahead for our upcoming routine office visits and of course those visits were cancelled. What we received was a cryptic form letter with the names of four nurse practitioners in case we were in need of future care. While we don't mind being seen by a nurse practitioner occasionally, and preferably for a specific problem, we want to be seen by an MD for our regular ongoing care. A bit shocked by this sudden and unexpected news and disappointed that we had not been told by our physician after our exams, we felt compelled to ask some pretty pointed questions. Our inquiries were met with what we felt were believable answers. The practice closure appears to have been a management decision and it had been decided that the physicians were not to personally impart this news to patients directly. Instead, that unwelcome news was shifted to the clerical staff, which frankly seemed to us to be quite unfair. Our two previous physicians, who had also left the Advent system, had given us the courtesy of personally sharing the unpleasant news of our needing to find a new doctor, so we asked why this time we hadn't been afforded this courtesy. It apparently wasn't our physician's choice, it was a directive. (But by whom?) A perusal of the current Advent Health website of primary care MD's accepting new patients shows we've pretty much been left with very few, if any, choices. And, the unwelcome result is that our scheduled routine medical care is also set back by months and neither of us is "Feeling Whole" as advertised.
