I have way more blood lost afterwards shown under the bandage than when 10 vials of blood were taken for my other prenatal prescreening tests. Before she took my blood sample, I asked her if 2 vials of blood is taken today. She said, you're pregnant so you will have to get ready for a lot of blood to be taken including getting an IV from the hospital. I just asked a simple question but this treatment from this staff because she's having a bad day or purposely want to get me "prepared" for pregnancy is just unacceptable. If I get a serious bruise or inflammation/infection from this appointment, I will consider filing a formal complaint for discrimination against pregnant woman and unprofessional misconduct.

The phlebotomist came in at 11:03. She was cheerful and was laughing about something as she came in. We had a delightful conversation while she set up and asked the usual questions. Minimal discomfort with the needle stick. I was out of there at 11:10. Very nice experience. My only criticism would be that the sign in kiosk did not work (big deal) and that the waiting room could use a paint job. I would go back without hesitation if my usual place was booked.

I understand appointments go first, but the pace was unbelievably slow -- in almost two hours only a handful of people were taken back. It honestly makes you wonder how understaffed this location must be. There were people who had been waiting even longer than me and were still there when I finally left. I even tried booking an appointment a week in advance and couldn't get a morning slot, so walking in was my only option. Now I've lost an entire month trying to get essential lab work done. To make matters worse, the waiting room was uncomfortable in every way -- overcrowded, stuffy, poor ventilation, and frankly tough to sit through for hours. Expecting people to wait 3-4 hours in those conditions is unreasonable. LabCorp needs more staff, better scheduling, and a serious upgrade in patient flow (and maybe some airflow too). This experience was exhausting and unacceptable. Patients deserve better.

On 4/21/26 I arrived and signed in at 10:30 am with perhaps 20 people waiting with no open seats. I waited outside and checked patient progress on the status board. At about 11:20 I went inside and my name was called. I went into the 3 desk check-in area and a nice pregnant nurse Diana started to check me in. She was stopped by the office manager woman who said it was another David who had been called. I looked at the property owner map on the wall c. 1890 to find my family home in Cheltenham as I had done in the past and the manager told me to leave. I refused as I was not blocking any new sign-ins and she threatened to call the Abington Police- who came and I explained the situation to them and her unfriendly racist behavior towards me. They videotaped my conversations with them and made no charges against me. I was told that many Labcorp workers have quit and they are understaffed. All seven blood taking rooms were filled with only Diana taking blood, no one at the 3 check-in desks when I was called by phone text at 12:22 pm. I left at 12:40. Suggest the office manager take training in customer service and hire more Phlebotomists. Appointments should be by scheduling, no walk ins. Diana should be commended on her professionalism and caring.

They newly require Masks (never had to use this prior to my last two visits). Not a big deal, but they never have any available, so if you forget it, you have to go back out and find one before they will even check you in. I completed the appointment sign up (they do walk ins) online as well as checked in, and they still asked me to do the process when I arrived the last two times. The young girl at the counter is short with clients, and it seems like she wants to do the least amount of work to help you. The saving grace of this place is that it's a convenient location right off of the Roosevelt Blvd, and the phlebotomist who takes the blood is at least very polite and efficient. Love the convenience, but check-in has now become not worth going to this location.
