The process surrounding my visit at the Navy Yard location was great. However, they do NOT send the images and reports to my doctors who ordered the tests. So, my doctors have no idea how my tests came out. These tests were done on April 24. I had an MRI of my spine ordered. I had to go and pick up the results and deliver them to the doctor myself. The X-ray and ultra sound ordered by my doctor were not delivered to him, so I have to go and pick them up and deliver them myself. You would think, if the e-system between health care providers are not compatible , the United States Post Office would suffice as back up. read more

I was sent to Jefferson Outpatient Imaging in Center City, Philadelphia on 7/25/25. It was a bit of a whirlwind of a day. I was so welcomed and helped by both Jocelyn and Alexander. I was pleasantly surprised that while I was struggling to register on the Kiosk that the receptionist spared me and called me directly to the window. After registering, I only sat for a few minutes when I was quickly called back to the Dexascan room. Ciana was very kind and knowledgeable in answering my questions. Before I knew it, I was on my way home! The icing on the cake is that parking is free for that department. I would definitely consider it enjoyable to come back! read more

Horrible experience. Schedulers were lazy,surly and poorly trained. Scheduler made 2 different mistakes when verifying my insurance...and I have personal choice!! The worst problem, however, was that I was told after the MRI that it would not be read for at least 5 business days. This is inexcusable as every other imaging facility in the city promises that reports will be completed within 24 hours. I should have been told when I made the appointment as I would have gone someplace else. Just a really, really poorly run facility. The one positive note is that the MRI tech, Warren, was excellent. My advice is that if you need any type of imaging..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

Getting old sucks. I was here to get xrays of a body part that is falling apart. First of all, it's hard to find because it's actually located on the bottom floor of what most people think of as Wills Eye Hospital. There's a little round curved driveway in front of the building. The entrance is located next to this driveway on the ground floor. I had a hard time finding it and must've walked by it twice! There was a mix up about a primary doctor referral so the staff were very kind and helpful to try to help it get sorted out. Actual x ray itself took a few minutes and was handled by Tori, a technician who was very efficient. They offer appointments that start as early as 7 AM for those of us poor working folks. PRO TIPS. Closest PATCO stop is 9th and Locust, a 5 minute walk. read more

I was a patient today June 7, 2024 at your wonderful facilities located at 850 Walnut St. I would like to acknowledge 3 of Jefferson's Team Members for their, kindness, efficiency & Smiles. These 3 women made my appointment seem less & hastle free. 1. Streets made my registration smooth & under 3 minutes! My technitions were Raelynn & Brittany. Jefferson imaging did x-rays, never sent me a bill (MyChart said zero balance so didn't think I owed anything), yet referred my bill to a collection agency without bothering to contact me. No voicemail, no email, no letter--nothing. Apparently Jefferson imaging is separate and administers billing separate through InstaMed (owned by JP Morgan, go figure). How was I supposed to know that radiology has an entirely separate billing department (especially if they never sent me a bill)? And when Jefferson (misleadingly, it turns out) represents that everything is on MyChart? My imaging is there, so why aren't my bills? This place should not be held out as part of "Jefferson." Now I have to deal with a collection agency and possibly credit-reporting agencies because Jefferson screwed up. Avoid this place like the plague. If you go, be prepared to be surprised by a bill or a collection letter. read more

If I could give 0 starts, I would. Definitely not a place you want to go for something as personal as a pregnancy ultrasound. I called to find out if I could bring my husband along with since this is our 2nd pandemic pregnancy and he's never been able to come to a single appt or ultrasound, I'm well aware how this goes. The receptionist said, "oh it depends on the day and the hour and the amount of people in there." I was like "oh well we would have to get a sitter, is there anyway to know a couple hours ahead of time? It's for a pregnancy ultrasound." This receptionist said, "Yeah, many woman have to go through this alone." and then HUNG UP ON ME! Run far away from this place. As a registered nurse myself, I couldn't imagine saying that to a patient. read more

Had an appointment at 2.15. Supposed to be 30 minutes. Still here 1 hour later no one can tell me anything. Paperwork is lost. I guess because its Jefferson they dont care to make sure the patient is taken care of. They are about money. I miss drs offices that care about the patients. Your just a number here read more

I walked in for X rays without an appointment, around opening time, and was in and out within 30 minutes. The staff was helpful, and everyone was nice. Tori took my X rays. She is the best! She was kind and friendly, and she explained everything she was doing and why. Every time I needed to change positions for imaging, Tori gave me clear and helpful instructions. She treated me like a human being. I wish all medical care providers were like Tori. read more

I've been coming here since Sept '15 & there has not been one time when the service was not excellent! From the moment that you walk through the doors every staff member is pleasant & attentive. I had a positive experience here. Making an appointment was super easy. Upon arrival everyone was very nice and friendly. I only waited 5 minutes to go back for my ultrasound. The ultrasound technician was very professional and kind. I was done in about 15 minutes. They validate your parking (free) if you park at the building attached to the facility. I visited JOI at 850 Walnut St in Philly yesterday (not my first visit) & realized on the way home that I left a necklace in the scan room. When I called to see if anyone turned it in I spoke with Kayla who couldn't have been more helpful. Not only did she track down the necklace she mailed it back to me. I rec'd it today. Not impressed. First it's winter in Philadelphia and the waiting room is freezing. Everyone is setting here bundled up in their winter coats. Seriously. Next and this is a pet peeve against the medical industry as a whole, why givw me a 10 am appointment if the true time isn't going to be until 1130?? "Registration" took 10 minutes. I went here a few years ago to have a CT scan of my knee after an injury. The scan itself was quick and painless. However, I left without a cell phone as someone had taken it from my locker where my things were kept. They did little to help and said they checked security footage but saw nothing. I went in for an MRI recently after having to reschedule. The staff was so nice to me. They took me back at my scheduled time, there really wasn't any wait time. The girl, whose name I can't remember right now, put my IV in and for the first time in a long time went without a hitch especially since it was my hand. I had the pleasure of Andrews company while I was being scanned. He made me feel real comfortable. Asked me some questions so he could get a better feel for where to scan. Very professional. I stopped over to schedule an appointment on my way back to work when it just so happens that they had an open time slot. The registrar was efficient and got me right in after paperwork. The technologist was great as well. She explained everything about the test, checked to make sure I was ok, and gave me an extra warm blanket.
