I had blood work done on 6/10/26. After 2 weeks of waiting for my results, the website said that my blood sample was lost. I called the office and left a message, but they never called me back. I went to the office to see what happened to my blood work. The person who "helped" me said that he didn't know and that there was nothing he could do. He didn't even try to look up my account. He was rude and dismissive. He told me that I would have to get another order from my doctor to have the blood drawn again. No explanation, no apology. I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at one of your locations during a scheduled pediatric appointment for my one-year-old child. I have visited this location before for my own lab work and previously noticed the front desk employee had poor customer service skills, but I chose not to say anything at that time. However, during my most recent visit, her behavior was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. When I was called to the window, she asked for the doctor's name, which I provided. She then began working on the computer and mentioned an estimated charge, which I was prepared to pay. I explained that I did not have the physical copy of the lab order paperwork and politely asked whether she was able to pull it up electronically. In a rude, condescending tone, she responded, "That's what this is for. Where do you think I got the estimate from?" Her response was unnecessarily disrespectful and unprofessional. I simply asked a reasonable question because she had not explained what she was doing. I told her that there was no need to be rude. Another customer present also commented that her attitude was unnecessary. After the interaction, she also loudly vented about "what's wrong with people today," which was inappropriate and unprofessional in a customer-facing setting. It seemed she failed to recognize that the issue was not the customers, but her own rude and disrespectful behavior. People should not be expected to tolerate being spoken to in that manner. The lab technician who assisted afterward was kind and professional, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the front desk interaction overshadowed the visit. It costs nothing to be kind and courteous, especially when working directly with the public and families bringing in young children. This employee's demeanor reflects poorly on your organization. I will not be returning to that location because I should not have to deal with disrespectful treatment. I ask that this matter be formally reviewed and that appropriate customer service training or corrective action be taken. Thank you for your time and attention. Others, beware. read more

Hands down....this is the best LabCorp around the Baltimore area. Rashad was very patient friendly. The front desk attendant was efficient and kind. She greeted me with a smile and the wait time was unbelievable. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. read more

Got in quick. Didn't even wait 3 minutes. The secretary was nice and was in good spirits. The bathroom was clean. Rooms were clean. I did have to wait about 5ish minutes in the room for my blood to be drawn. The woman was very nice and go my stick in, in one go. read more

I want to start off by saying I read the reviews online and I was expecting the worst. I am terrified of getting my blood drawn, usually takes a few tries, and I pass out occasionally. Im a very sensitive person- any little thing will make me upset, tone of voice, body language etc. So the fact the front desk lady was nice when I came in made me feel better from the start. She smiled and made eye contact. When I went back for my labs, KATE was phenomenal. She calmed me down when I was having a mini panic attack, she got my blood first try- didn't even feel it. She talked to me like an actual person. I could tell she doesn't hate her job, she smiled and just made this experience very good for me. This is the only lab corp I will be going to from now on. read more

Disgusting rude receptionist. Did not understand how to read my paperwork for diagnostics. Insisted I needed a drug test when I needed lab work for a compensation and pension exam for the VA. Tapping her fingernails while I pulled up paperwork as if I was wasting her time. As a veteran who needed simple bloodwork. Labcorp should not be servicing veterans if this is how we will be treated!!!!!!!!! She should not be dealing with customers at any rate!!!! Unacceptable behavior. I wish I had got her name. Made an appointment for a urine drug screen on the company website for 9am first one I could, I worked the night before 12 hour shift. I walked in signed in at kiosk and waited almost forty mins. I walked up and asked hey I had an appointment for 9am for a urine drug screen and I wanted to know the wait. I was told labs get drawn first and then urine test afterwards. Mind you I was the second person in the office at the time of me coming in to do the test and one other person. I truly wish I would have known this because I would have just walked in and never made an appointment and wasted time of staff and my sleep. read more

I would not call this a bad experience so much as a sad experience. I had an early morning appointment just after they opened. I was the only patient in the lab. There were two phlebotomists i dealt with. One checked me in and one drew my blood. Both were very competent and did a good job. The blood draw was quick and fairly painless. They clearly knew their jobs. The sad part was they were both miserable robots. They spoke monotone and appeared to hate their jobs or at least didn't want to be there this morning. I repeatedly tried to get either to simply look up from what they were doing and smile but nothing. It was just sad and depressing. Overall, they did there job so I can't complain about that but there bedside manner needs improvement. read more

worse labcorp I have ever been in. I use to get my blood work at the doctors office, but now they send you to the labcorp at hospital drive . I was there for 2 hours before they called me. And then they did not have any butterfly needles to draw blood. They used a large needle and stuck me 4 times and blew my vein and didn't get any blood at all. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I even called my doctors office and told them they shouldn't refer patients to that location. read more

Going to this location was the WORST experience I've had being at a Labcorp. No one answers the phone when you need to ask questions. They have POOR customer service and will treat you horribly like "Sir/Ma'am why are you even here?" I went 3 times to take my drug screening test and they were of no help with that. They either need to be trained to deal with people better or be fired because you have bottom tier employees working here. read more

This is my personal experience in trying to contact LabCorp Twice this morning I have been hung up on. started calling them after 8 am they open 730 am went through their lousy recording held on for next agent? got a pick up click then silence then dial tone I am to call them prior to going see if they received the lab work order from my dr over the weekend, if not I was to call Dr and have them resend then head to lab corp.. BUT SINCE THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONES WTF?? need more professional help in these labs hearing a lot of disgruntled patients having nasty reception and help at these businesses read more

Rude customer service from people who think they are doing you a favor by getting paid to do a job. I am astounded at how I was spoken to and the anger that I faced for simply clarifying that the tech knew my bloodwork was a timed draw. She went so far as to walk me to the phlebotomist and tell the phlebotomist this whole story about me being difficult. By asking one clarifying question? I was almost in tears. Who treats people this way? Next I went to Advanced Radiology for different testing and the difference was amazing! I was spoken to rather than barked at and the person had NO side conversations while taking care of me. At Labcorp that lab tech barked demands at me occasionally while planning her day, complaining about things and socializing with her coworker. I'm her for important bloodwork, I do EVERYTHING that is asked of me and you get aggressive with me and try to talk me down to the phlebotomist and get her involved. Go elsewhere people. They find these things acceptable here. read more
