The system asked if I had an appointment which I responded to as no then proceeded to put in my info as prompted. At the end of it, the screen told me there is a 0 minute wait time and I was next in queue and to take a seat inside the lobby or in my car. 25 minutes later someone calls my name, I was finally relieved since the wait time was 0 minutes just to be told that they don't take walk ins. I was extremely upset and pointed out the fact that I stated I didn't have an appointment during check in and the computer told me to sit down. When pointing this out, the employee said "well there's a sign for no walk ins - oh wait oops it's covered by another paper right now sorry!" So there was no visible sign and keep in mind, the sign she was referring to was a printed out piece of paper that had a paragraph of words on it and at some point says no walk ins, hard to catch even when not covered. So I left and made an appointment online for the next week, left work early to make the 3:30 time. Quest sent me several texts throughout the day about confirmation and checking in. When I arrive i see a printed out sign saying the location has been closed since 11:30 AM and everyone needs to try to go to the Quest on Soquel. Are you kidding?!? They are capable of sending me 3 texts today confirming my appointment and info about checking in and none mention that it has been closed for 4 hours?!??! Ridiculous and Unprofessional. They are constantly loosing one, so he has to wait around until they can get ahold of his oncologist. This is a big issue because this makes him miss more work. Also, they changed their whole check in process. What used too take 15 minutes takes over an hour. His doctor has dIscussed this with Dominican several tImes, but nothing changes, so his doctor is sending him to Quest in the future. On the other hand, the infusion center is very well run and has such a kind staff.

I had been waiting a whole week for this test, and when I finally showed up, the phlebotomist told me that there were absolutely no orders for me in the system... But she lie brazenly deceived me! After all, I have the doctor's app, where I saw that she had scheduled my appointment. Room 4 04/24/2026 at 2:30 pm A glucose test was ordered, and it takes an hour to complete! She was supposed to ask me about the referral, but in the end, she simply told me, "We can't do anything for you," and sent me home! I didn't receive the test--I just wasted a day and my time. An incompetent and unprofessional specialist works in this laboratory.

If they don't get blood during those 3 times, they had to tell me to come back and do it with someone else. That someone was Janet. She poke me only once and got it right the first time. The one feature that was awesome was the automatic check-in! It was super easy. It saved me fussing with the check-in machine inside the office. Once I parked, I pressed the check-in link and when I walked in and sat down, I hadn't sat for over 2 minutes by the time I was called in. I had Kim as my clinician. Kim checked all my information to see if I was the correct person and confirmed which type of bloodwork was ordered by my doctor and then quickly and efficiently did my bloodwork. She was friendly and I honestly couldn't feel the slightest of prick. And before I knew it, it was done and I was out the door. Even my husband couldn't believe I was out of there in no time at all! I had an excellent experience and hope the same for everyone else. But I also feel I got good care because these medical workers work hard and need us patients to be kind and considerate of the service they are performing! It can be a win/win!

After receiving an email reminder the day before, Alondra arrived on time and took care to prepare a sterile area, even covering her shoes before coming in. She took the time to find a good vein and even helped ensure successful access by applying a heating pad to my arm. The draw was quick and she was able to pull multiple tubes. I still got faint but that was ok because I was comfortable on my couch and her comforting demeanor ensured I felt better quickly. She has all the equipment needed to prep the samples before bringing them to the lab and the whole process took less than 20 minutes including the vein quest and vasovagal recovery! This is an incredible service for anyone who is sick, homebound, or simply unable to get what they need done at a lab. In my case, the lab actually wouldn't do the bloodwork I needed to donate a kidney, so having someone come to me made the whole process possible. Charity was professional, very communicative, and incredibly gentle and kind during the draw. She made me feel at ease and took care of everything (she came to my house, drew my blood and even took my bloodwork to FedEx for dropoff) I plan on using her services in the future not only for myself, but also for my kids.
