I had a great experience at this location, I was in and out in 5 minutes, very happy with the timely care I received.

Operates as an overcrowded factory. Way understaffed. An example of how not to do customer service. Long waits, insufficient locations.

Care was good and my interactions with staff were okay. The staff at reception were horrible. LOUDLY talking about patient details and yelling across the room. I'm glad I had something simple. They were very impatient with others and loudly gossiping about how stupid patients were as they would leave or go back into their rooms to be seen. I really dislike using Labcorp n prefer Quest because 1. Offices are bare..no TV or greenery 2. Takes a long time to be seen even w an appointment 3. Getting results takes much longer 4. Test results offer no explaination unlike Quest 5. Never enough staff n no joy or friendliness there. read more

The sweet women at the counter are always so cheerful and it must be so hard when it's obvious that people walk in the door dreading the next few minutes of their life... Well, that's MY experience at least! But...There has never been a time that I've waited at this location longer than 5 minutes and that's AMAZING! Who should have to wait for sheer torture?? I'm joking actually, because this location has vampires that do their job flawlessly and it is almost painless-except for the pain of my nails going into the palm of my hand, that is. Came in for labwork. Checked in at the kiosk. Nurse was patient with me as I get nervous around needles and blood. Great job!

Alyssa answers the phone here and was very rude. She didn't answer any of my questions. I called several times to find out if they had the tubes for a specific test and she refused to tell me. I would not recommend this location. read more

So bad. The ladies at the front are absolutely impatient and rude. They kicked me out after I asked for accommodation for anxiety, they don't know what they're doing and dug around to find a vein. I went to a different lab and they found my vein easily... clearly they can't do their jobs correctly in addition to being rude. read more

This is seriously the best LabCorp location in the Tampa Bay Area. Sure, I could have visited the branch that is conveniently two minutes from my home, but then I would have an hour wait. This location is only ten minutes from where I live and it is worth the drive because I HATE waiting. This LabCorp branch is very clean and well organized. You can even make an appointment online in order to speed up your process. The techs are friendly, professional, and efficient. I was in and out of the lab in less than twenty minutes. Be mindful that the actual lab is the toward the middle of the business park and not the building to the left. That way, you will not have to walk a mile before and after getting your procedure done. read more

I worked night shift as a lab assistant. I do not recommend this place. The job itself was great but the management was horrible. They treated me very poorly. I almost felt racial profiled. The manager would also tell us she had higher up employees spying on us to make sure we act right and we'd never know which person it was.. funny thing is no one would be doing anything wrong to begin with. She would walk around sneaking up on you for no reason at all. She'd make comments like " gotta come out here and watch this little white girl" so, I quit after that. Wish, I could've kept it. Horrible. I left crying because the man at the front desk was screaming at me as I walked out. I had to get fda testing done and they couldn't find my package after we called to confirm it was there. He said he couldn't find it under my name so I told him it could be under another name and he REFUSED to look for it in that name. He yelled at me saying "don't be late next time" which one I was 10 min early, and two me being early/late doesn't affect the fact that you lost my package. Horribly unprofessional and rude. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I had an appointment today for Covid antibody testing. My appointment was at 3 pm and they ask you get there 15 minutes early. I arrived at 2:25 pm and promptly checked in on my phone as they now have a " wait where you feel safe" option. So I checked in and gave my phone number to receive a text when it was my turn to be seen and waited safely in my car. An hour goes by and I received no kind of contact so I call the number listed on google and it send me to a call center not the La Salle street location even though it's listed as the La Salle street phone number. The gentleman I spoke to let me know it was the call center but, if they had my number just to wait for the text. I walk up to the automatic door where I see a note that says due to covid they prefer us wait in the car so I turn around and go sit back in my car. Another hour goes by and I call the number again. This time the woman on the call center hotline tells me to go to the door again. That I should have only been waiting 20 minute max and if I was waiting 2 hrs then something must be wrong. I go again to the automatic door and it won't open. Luckily a very kind young lady that was working in another part of the lab helped me out. I let her know I had an appointment and had been waiting 2 hrs but no one had contacted me. She went into the lab to see where everyone was and when she came back told me it looked closed up and encouraged me to call and voice a complaint. I called the hotline a 3rd time and at first the woman on the line asked me if I gave my cell phone number which I assured her I did. Then she tells me " I don't know what happened, they must have forgotten about you but, we can reschedule you off another day." I politely said no thank you! I will never ever be going here for lab work again! read more

When my doctors office ordered blood work for me, they gave me paperwork with "LabCorp" written all over it. I looked online for the nearest office and found one just ten minutes away so I made my "first available" appointment online for two days out. I arrived at the office on time and was directed to "sign in," show my insurance card and drivers license. On showing my Florida Blue card I was then told that my visit would be "out of network," or I could go to Quest Diagnostics. Having made my appointment online, LabCorp website asked me to include my primary insurance information from a list of available options. While it did not say Florida Blue, it did have an option for "BC/BS" (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and as far as I'm aware, Florida Blue is Floridas Blue Cross Blue Shield, so I made the appointment. Getting to the location to be told my Florida Blue insurance is "out of network" by a receptionist who's only greeting was, "sign in, I need your insurance card and ID," is simply unacceptable. Add non-existent customer service from the receptionist at the location makes for an completely negative experience that I will remember and choose never to go to a LabCorp location for any future diagnostic work. When will medical organizations like LabCorp wake up to the fact that when a customer walks through the door that is worth hundreds, if not thousands of dollars of potential revenue, yet you can get better customer service buying a cup of coffee at almost any coffee shop. My Doctor sent a sample out for a routine urine test. Lucky me it was sent to LabCorp with whom BCBS PPO does not have a contract with them. When I had received the bill for the full $72.00, I called them the same day to see if they would offer any discount on that price. They would not budge at all. If you think that $72.00 reflects a fair market price for this service along with a surly response, then I would recommend them. Otherwise, if you feel that a prompt out of pocket payment should be eligible for a discount as I do, then I would not recommend them. read more

I made an appointment and wasn't acknowledged when I first came in but still filled out the time sheet for when I arrived and sat down. Finally, 30 minutes passed my appointment, I nicely asked the lady if she needed any of my information and she rudely replied, no I will call you when I'm ready. Then, 15 minutes later she called me up and we realized that I wasn't able to get my lab work done there. I've been here before and this wasn't an issue so I never thought to question it. I didn't appreciate her attitude and would have liked to know that there was an issue before I waited 45 minutes for no reason. I understand that there may be only one person working back there but the receptionist who is the first face to the company should be nice and helpful, no matter how frustrated or how quickly she would like to go home. The customer service here is unacceptable and I would not recommend this location. I had been there previously and didn't have as bad of an experience but still had to wait about 30 minutes passed my scheduled time, which is very annoying if you are coming during your lunch break, etc. After leaving, I went to quest diagnostic without and appointment and had a wonderful experience and was done with everything in 20 minutes. This LabCorp has been my "go to" for twice annual physicals requiring blood draws. They are professional, efficient, and punctual. On my last visit, I had originally had an appointment at the LabCorp location on MLK. When I arrived for my appointment, Imlearned their computer system was down, repairs were going to take 2 hours to complete. I decided to drive 20 minutes to the other location, had to ask my doctor to fax a new request for CBC, etc. I waited 90 minutes, noting that Christina kept asking, is there anything I can do to help? Finally she said "please let me call the doctor's office for you." In minutes she had received the fax and I was done in minutes. My recommendation is make an appointment, ask your doctor for a copy of the blood work request just in case you need it, as I did. read more

This is a wonderful location. Whether I have an appt or not, the wait doesn't turn out to be too long. Yes, sometimes the staff is overwhelmed and might seem short but they are always courteous, efficient, and attention detail oriented. And Yolanda is the best in the business for drawing blood. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I get called back by her. Even when it's very busy with lots of impatient people, she keeps her cool and is friendly. I really appreciate this location. Man at the front desk shooed a patient away from the desk telling him to sign in at the computer at the entrance...15 minutes later he said out loud in front of everybody in the waiting area that the computer doesn't work sometimes so you need to sign the sign in sheet. Came to this office after the lights went out on MLK. I walked in thinking this would be a breeze since the waiting room only had 3 people. After waiting 15 minutes someone finally came to the front desk and I had to go up there was told there would be a 45 minute wait because they were backed up due to the MLK office closing.
