I have been here on several occasions now, and the issues were addressed properly each time. Last month, I was in a car accident and needed to self-transport to get my back and neck checked. I went here first to see if they had the proper equipment to treat me. Without ever signing in, they pulled the doctor from the back who advised me that the CAT scans at the hospital would be necessary. The doctor spent about 5 minutes talking to me, was compensated nothing for it, and did not rush me out the door which she very well could have done. If you feel the need to go to the ER, it is worth checking with Urgent Care first to see if you can save the time and additional copay that comes with an ER visit.

During my first visit I was prescribed an antibiotic that didn't help. When my symptoms continued, I returned and was prescribed a different antibiotic and asked to submit a stool sample. I dropped off the sample and then spent the next 10 days waiting for results while continuing to have significant symptoms. During that time I called the office at least four times. Each time I was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. The only guidance I received was to drink more water, stop taking Imodium, and stop following the BRAT diet by avoiding bananas and applesauce. After 10 days and multiple follow-up calls, I was finally told that my stool sample had been lost or the results couldn't be obtained, and I was asked to come back and repeat the test. By that point, I had spent weeks feeling miserable while relying on the office for answers that never came. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up was the most frustrating part. If you need treatment for a minor illness, this office may be fine. But if you have an ongoing or more complicated medical issue that requires follow-up, test results, and communication, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

In my opinion, they should have a PA and a nurse that handles only sports injuries that kids are gonna be coming in with this year now that they're back in school they should be getting them in and getting them out quickly effectively and efficiently. Rather they make you move from one room into a big waiting room while they take their time looking over your x-rays and find you to give you your results and you're align with people that have had strokes and more serious conditions. It just doesn't make sense to me from a priority perspective. They should have a separate person handling just sports injuries, not head injuries, arms toes, wrists you know simple stuff.!

Once I provided my reference number, they confirmed all my information before bringing me back for the preemployment urine screen. They walked me through all the steps and securely locked my belonging in the cabinet so everything was handled properly. After the collection, they verified my name and the sample right in front of me to make sure everything was accurate and matched correctly. The whole visit was fast, professional, and well-organized. My results were posted to my employer quickly allowing me to start my new job shortly after. I really appreciated how seamless the entire process was. I definitely one of the most seamless testing experiences I've had. Note: Do to ongoing staffing shortage in the medical field, there isn't always someone available at the front desk for walk-ins. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment and confirming it through your phone; otherwise, they may assume you didn't show up. It's also worth noting that if they are short-handed or running behind on the day you arrive, they may stop accepting walk-ins altogether and will turn you away.

I've never waited more than 20-30 minutes -- and most visits are just 5-10 minutes. The phlebotomists are incredibly kind, professional, and gentle. I've never had a painful draw or walked out bruised, which says a lot. They're also very respectful of special requests -- I need specific tape due to sensitive skin, and they always accommodate without hesitation. I've even brought in more complicated specialty labs (including RGCC testing), and they've been completely willing to handle them carefully and support the patient. It's clear they take pride in their work and truly care. Highly recommend.

If only I had known that beforehand! I must make it clear that this particular facility is located INSIDE an office building and is nowhere near to Fairfax Hospital! For this reason alone, I'd never go back there for any radiological services as I consider this to be price gouging. Only providers and insurance companies benefit from this practice.
