Julia has walked me through my hair goals, has given me major chops and minor trims. I trust her implicitly with my hair. Which leads me to the reason for my yelp review: Morgan's review from this week. It hit me as odd considering the long-term, positive relationship I've had with Curly Hair Extraordinaire. Going to Morgan's previous reviews gave me a glimpse into the kind of person she is. She looks for anything to complain about and then wields anger/annoyance/outrange publicly on a site that can harm businesses. But that's okay, because she can put her phone down and feel like she's right! She never has to look at a business owner in the face again after potentially harming them! Ha! Morgan came in for an appointment on the wrong day. That is hard. It's happened to all of us. It's frustrating. Of course there is no way she put it in her calendar incorrectly. The solutions offered to her weren't good enough because driving to Milwaukee and parking is hard (can you sense my sarcasm?). A solution was finally agreed upon and what did Morgan do? Leave the salon, run to yelp to complain, and then cancel the rescheduled appointment. She feels a sense of justice and never has to face the business owner who "wronged" her again. Meanwhile, small businesses get a slam on sites like yelp. Too bad people can't get bad reviews, too. Do better. Anyway, if you want an incredible experience having your curly/wavy/kinky hair cut the correct way by amazing, caring people, do yourself a favor and go to Curly Hair Extraordinaire. I now have a bowl cut that isn't even good for that to have been done. I honestly watched my head get messed up worse and worse as she went on. once the hair is gone it's too late to fix. I let it go in hope she might fix it. no chance of that. zero fade or taper just a buzz cut that's uneven way too high up on the head and doesn't even remotely resemble what I walked in with. I will never get my haircut at any fantastic Sam's anywhere again. you couldn't pay me to go back there. if you don't like your job don't take it out on the customer.
